This, absolutely. Rural and urban India are almost completely disconnected from one another. There's nothing modern about the rural India where this happens, which isn't really their fault but there you have it.

Honour killings are often propagated, at least in India, by the local government. There's something called the khap system, which is the panchayati system but somehow more extremist, that basically encourages honour killings. It's usually less to do with gender, and more about bringing dishonour to the family. For example, if you fall in love instead of agreeing to an arranged marriage, they can declare you a heretic and call for your death. Marrying someone from the same village is considered incestuous, and thus receives the same level of punishment. Marrying out of your religion or caste in India: same thing. Victim-blaming also plays a part. If a woman gets raped, it's very likely going to be that she's blamed for seducing the man, and killed for being impure. It is a major cultural phenomenon, but not at all a positive one. Measures are being taken to eradicate it, but it's not really working so far.

I was thinking of using a randomizer to determine my non-Krom pairings. Write down all the names and run them through the randomizer, put the guys and girls next to each other using excel or something, and weeping when I see the results. It's appropriate for a game run by the RNG goddess.

This is a perfectly acceptable requirement and everyone should consider it.

Actually wait, I don't get this. If the person in the support says snippets of MU's line in Mute MU mode, then in FeMUxKrom... Does Krom somehow get confused about what's going on and get why she's mad simultaneously? Because that's just bizarre. Mute MU is bizarre. I'm going to be Mute MU for all my playthroughs if it's really this weird.

Silent MU is literally one of the weirdest things in the game.

I thought it had plenty of build-up in the book itself, what with all the anvil sized hints. vOv As long as Sirius's sexuality isn't confirmed by canon, and there isn't any actual subtext, there's no point in saying that he might be bi. There's nothing in the book that says anything other than bros4lyfe. Subtext isn't always buttsex

Uh, I found a really battered FE7 cartridge at this incredibly shady store for cheap, two years ago. I bought it, and found out it didn't save. I blatantly pirated it after that, and pretty much fell in love with it. I still don't know if that original cartridge of mine was a bootleg or not.

To each their own, I guess. I'd rather go for all the pairings hijinks on Hard or Normal. Speaking of which, how hard is Hard, anyway? Does it compare to say, Eliwood Hard? (Lunatic seems crazy enough that I'd rather break the game in any way I can, first time through. Or maybe that's a better idea for Lunatic+. I don't know.)

In that case, isn't it optimal to go for FeMU on lunatic so that you get their S rank bonus while doubling?

Ronku/Azure was a little off, yeah. I kind of like how Selena's being characterised after all. She's not *just* a tsundere in her lover supports, the way she is with her parent ones, and that's cool. It's uh an interesting twist to the archetype at any rate.

Well, shit. I've never played Emerald. Well, I have, but it was a Chinese bootleg cartridge with Treecko renamed "frog", and I didn't really understand what was going on. Anyway, it doesn't change my rating so whatever. I like little Ziggy vOv

He's a good early game mon, and great in Erika's gym. It's not like you have to worry about moves like Stealth Rock in Gen 3 either. I've used him against the elite four, and he pulled his weight just fine, so +0.5 bias. 5.5/10

Best HM slave imo. He even learns surf somehow. Pickup is handy, especially if you're like me and never bother training them. Also, I find the design cute... 5/10
