The Catholic Church is not ALL of Christianity. In fact a majority of the other branches despise the Catholic church.

Same reason people prefer long or short hair. When we say race we mean they are diverse enough to have a different skin color, thus changing their appearance. Appearance is a factor in sexual arousal.

Well what I'm saying is that and that if it can be said in a PM then it's not needed, but NOTHING else. Otherwise there would be a ton of topics that shouldn't be made. It makes discussion very difficult.

Yes for us Pagans it's a time of celebration and giving thanks to what we have and spending time with the ones we love. Not to mention exchanging gifts. I didn't ask to remove the rule, I asked to have it explained a little better because people were confused. I even said if something can be said in a PM it should.

I was thinking a little more clarification on the "No ATTN topics," rule. I think it should only be limited to topics that address something to someone that chould have been said in a PM to a specific person. For example if I had a question about say, computers, and I posted a topic asking if anyone knew who to fix my problem, it would be ridiculous to have to go from person to person to ask who knew anything about it. Basically if something can be said in a PM it shouldn't need a topic of its own, but if you're stating a public opinion or a public question, then it should be fine. As long as "ATTN," isn't in the title. Otherwise any question or suggestion could be set as an "ATTN," topic. I know some of the staff informed me it was sort of like this already, but I don't think everyone is aware of it as of now. I think it'd be better to have it pointed out a little more so that people aren't confused and think any topic that is directing attention to any one person or group falls under this. If you think about it any topic you make about yourself is an "ATTN," topic if you think of it without this. You're directing attention to a specific member. So in other words perhaps a little more clarification on it so people aren't confused, as I saw a few people that didn't fully understand this rule.

Alright, so I have to finish this paper for government tomorrow, only problem is I haven't started due to other classwork that was taking up a large amount of time. (My teachers have a habit of over assigning...) I guess late is as good as time as any though. Alright well basically we have to conduct a survey about the three major parties, and see what people know about them. I'm supposed to pull the most common truthful statements out of people's explanations and show the percentage of how many people know where the parties stand on what issues, and the parties' histories. It's hard to explain and it's more complicated than it sounds... I'll be asking people on other sites as well, but help would be appreciated. I kind of wonder why this pole is only for subs and dubs, what about RAWs? I know quite a few people that watch RAWs which should be a category all their own because they are not associated with a fansub group, or a dub company, so no translation is needed.

I mostly will watch both versions. It differs with animes though, some really are dubbed poorly, and some aren't. I will say this, fan subs are like a hit-miss kind of thing. For example, I preferred the private sub of Strawberry Panic! over the Do-re-mi one. Their translations were so poor they spelled the school as "Astrolyre," when it's "Astraea." Some animes though I think the dubs get worse over time, like Death Note. I liked the dub at first, but as it went on it got worse and worse. Using the voice of Penelope from Hamtaro to play Near was really not their best choice. Not to mention I just couldn't get any feeling from Light after the second half of the show. Live actions should NEVER be dubbed though, either redo the movie, or just subtitles.

I see, well I pretty much only have my girlfriend, and the rest are acquaintances. I'm quite fine with that though. And Lux left for reasons he does not wish for me to publicly disclose, however there is the possibility he may never come back.
