FE7 Lyn mode teaches you all the basics while you play the game. That was my first FE and I've been hooked ever since.

For me, it's really close between the two until Ludveck chops off Lucia's hair. Mia's the clear winner after that. If Lucia still had long hair, I don't know who I would pick. Mia's got a cute smile so I'll give her the edge.

On 3-13 hard mode, my level 19 soldier Aran got attacked by a cat. He countered with a javalin and got a critical with 42 hit which killed the cat and he leveled up. He probably wouldn't have died but I thought that was pretty cool.

I don't have a DS and I don't plan on getting one but I'll download the US version when it's released.

In RD, 3-13's preparation music is the same as the endgame chapters.

Tormod, Bastian and Lucius have the same affinity as the magic they specialize in. Micaiah has dark affiinity and uses light magic. In FE7 and FE10, short spears have less hit and less mt than spears. FE10 short axes have less hit and mt than Tomahawks.

It's a really hard game to find. You should buy it asap cause it may be gone by the time you decide to get it. I haven't seen a single copy in my area since I got it last August. If you can't find it in stores, try buying it online for a cheap price.

In PoR, Ike has a conversation with every recruitable character except Haar. I don't remember Ike and Haar ever talking to each other in PoR so if I'm wrong just let me know. In RD, Geoffrey talks to all the CRKs except Marcia unless they support with each other.

I hate how Ike takes credit for killing Shiharam even when he doesn't land the finishing blow or battles him in the first place. I know, Ike's the general and he ordered someone to kill him but if he didn't kill Shiharam, he shouldn't be saying that he did.

I've never thought about it like that. It's weird how Mist doesn't talk about the BK in this game. All she says is "Be careful Ike" or something like that. Also, the team isn't even worried about Ike fighting the BK. There was a lot left out in that scene. And Mist sucks with any sword you give her. With a 25 strength cap, she shouldn't be fighting.

Tough choice between Oscar and Kieran. I'll vote for Kieran just cause I like axes more than lances. Titania would be my third choice.

In RD, a fire/thunder support, a dark/light support, and a water/wind support all give the same bonuses. At A level, +2 ATK, +2 DEF, +8 HIT, and +8 AVO.

It's so easy to get Boyd's speed up. He doesn't need a transfer but it makes it a lot easier. Here's a little strategy I have that works on normal mode. It requires a little favouritism but it pays off big time. 1) Get his speed to at least 19 before you get to 3-2. You have 2 chapters to do that and it really depends on how lucky you are with his speed. If you're lucky, you are one step closer to unleashing Boyd's potential. If not, too bad for you. If you gave him a speed transfer from PoR, you don't even need to worry about leveling up his speed yet. 2) If you got the speedwing from 2-3 and transferred it over to the GMs, give it to Boyd ASAP. He should have 21 AS speed which should be enough to double paladins and maybe dragonmasters. The best part is that he's not only doubling, he's also one-rounding with steel poleaxes. Keep leveling him up to further increase his speed. That's basically it. I have to admit, it does depend on how lucky you are with his speed but that's the chance you take. Seriously, he becomes one of the few characters on the team that can ORKO a lot and it only takes 3 chapters to get him going. As long as he can double, he will kill something. When his strength gets higher, he can one-round most enemies with hand axes which is pretty cool if you're going up against a bunch of ranged enemies. This strategy has worked on my last 4 playthroughs. It does work on hard mode but it takes a little longer for Boyd to double since enemies have higher speed. He has a lot of potential and I think he's really underestimated. He is one of the best characters in the game imo. Of course, this is just my personal experience but it's catapulted Boyd to be my fave character. He's alot better than Nolan in my game.

Did anyone else try to recruit Jill on their 1st PT? I tried and when I found out that I couldn't, it turned into one big chase. Nephenee killed her after wrath + critical then I restarted. It was pretty fun. Anyways, I usually send a base level Nephenee to battle the vigilantes and Lethe just outside Zihark's range so she can recruit him next turn. Oscar and Kieran go for the middle and try to kill the thief, the rest take care of the soldiers in the beginning. The team gets split into two groups, make sure the top group is across the bridge before the BK can get to them. It took me 3 or 4 playthroughs to come up with a good strategy.

I did that too on my 3rd playthrough. It wasn't that bad. I don't use royals either cause they're too broken and take away most of the strategy.

How long do you think it will take before Mist actually goes solo? It's gonna take a lot of chapters but you could do some serious boss abuse in 3-4 if you want to. I'd like to see some videos cause I can't imagine her soloing most of the chapters. Once again, good luck whenever you start it.

If I had to marry a girl, I'd have a hard time choosing cause there are so many I think are cute. I'd have to date them first before deciding. FE7: Lyn, Fiora, Priscilla, Rebecca FE9/10: Mia, Nephenee, Jill, Calill, Mist, Marcia, Titania, Lucia, Elincia If I had to marry a guy, definitely Boyd.

I haven't played any of the japanese FEs so I'm sorry for not including those characters.

I haven't played hard mode yet. When does Ashnard start moving? Is it when you get into his movement range or does he just start coming after you regardless of where you are? It sounds hard so I want to be prepared whenever I start my hard mode run.

Out of all the characters in FEs 7-10: Lyn is the only non-mounted unit that can use both swords and bows. Rath, Ranger Neimi, FE9 Makalov and FE9 Astrid are the only other characters that can use swords and bows. FE9 Kieran and FE9 Astrid are the only non-warrior characters that can use axes and bows. Geoffrey, Astrid, Oscar and Fiona are the only characters that can use lances and bows. Athos is the only character that can use all types of magic and staves. Mist and Elincia are the only characters that can use swords and staves.
