  1. Can't use Light's Blessing in Arena though, unfortunuatly :c
  2. Upgrade the castle fully ASAP I'd say. For the rest, you can do what you do or just field a group of all similar level units in the training tower and try to level up that way. As long as you don't die, that's the most effective I'd say :).
  3. Hmm, half agree. It's atleast a temporary situation, since paying players get to endgame quicker. In the long run however, you're probably perfectly viable as a F2P player, altough paying players will probably always have somewhat of a advantage seeing as there's a good chance they have better units.
  4. Ah, true! I figured that out, I just don't know the exact algorith behind all these things.
  5. They've always used archetypes like that. Red and green cavaliers, pegasus trio's, et cetera. Green haired archers is one of those too, I'm pretty sure.
  6. Pfew, I cleared Lunatic. That last chapter is harsh with my lackluster weapon triangle coverage ._. Also, for those of you wondering what the Lunatic quests look like, here they are:
  7. It could be, but I think there's something more to it aswell. Like, certain ceiling caps and low caps to prevent a unit from being too blessed or nerfed so that they always stay relevant, but can never 1v4. For example, I doubt we would ever see a Lvl.40 Marth with 10 speed.
  8. I personally like almost all the art in this game and especially the versatility! I guess I'm somewhat easy to please. If I have to pick one though, I'd probably say Matthew, the art just gives me a much different feeling than what I got from him in the actual game. Arthur however looks like a comic book hero and I very much thinks it suits him and I love it. =)
  9. True, it indeed isn't. We don't know by how much your scores up for using a bonus character or what determines the chain bonus for example. I'm just going by what would make sense to me. The scoring would be much worse if it was cumulative, since it would be heavily pay-to-win if it was. So I'm personally happy with how they did this (aside from the sub-par explanations)
  10. How much points do you have? I'm personally at rank 5.894 with 2.997 Offense points and 261 Defense points, you can use that as a reference. The most important thing is not losing games in offense or your streak ends. I've only gone up against the highest difficulty once and got my ass handed to me. Also, try and use the 'Bonus Heroes', they will give you extra points. You still have 2 days, so that's 6 arena at minimum you can do. Offence is not a cumulative score, but rather the best score out of a series. So you only need seven sword icons before the end of the season to get the maximum out of it. Also, after the week ends, you'll be put into a certain tier (right now, everyone is Tier 1) based on your ranking.
  11. Surething! If you go to your Arena page and click 'check rewards', your rank is just above the Offense and Defense points. I believe it's based off the combined score of your Offense and Defense points and rates them against all the other players in the world. Click on 'Score Type' and select Rank to see the tiers and rewards they give at the end of the season/week.
  12. Hate to be that guy (sorry, couldn't resist xD), but that's only for offense. You also get feathers for your rank (up to 5.000 for rank 1) and defense (up to 500). Click the 'Score type' to switch between them.
  13. Some good news, appearantly merging reduces the feather cost!
  14. While true, it might be that red orbs will show up more often because they have the most units in them, instead of there being a 25% chance of getting either a red, blue, green or white orb. Also your calculation of saying there's actually a 0.21% chance of pulling Ryoma is only true if the player ONLY opens red orbs and if they're even available. Nice write-up though, good work.

Just asking since there are small deviations between the same units.
  17. It would be a pleasure to help, also because I'm very curious myself about all this. I have 96 characters, but I've been leveling up all my 5* units already. I might still have some screenshots from when they were level 1 somewhere in my folder though, I'll see what I can do.
  18. You probably know this, but just in case you don't, you lose the plus ranking upon awakening. So 2*+1 will become a regular 3* (The SP still stays though). Trust me, upgrading the castle is worth it! You'll save so much and/or time by getting the exp bonuses. And the earlier the better :).
  19. 1. As far as I know, yes, lvl 40 is the cap for all units. 2. Unfortunuatly, no. My Lucina has 505 SP at lvl 36, and she needs 1040 to unlock all her skills. So I have to make the choice of either skilling Aether (500SP) or Spur Attack 2 & 3 (Adjacent ally attack +4) for 300 SP and Defiant Speed 2 & 3 (Grants +7 speed if units HP < 50%) for 240 SP. As cool as Aether is, it has a long CD and the other skills just seem too useful. However, it's still possible to get enough SP for all characters by feeding duplicates to them. Yes, it is. Very versatile having all colors + healer. For a gacha system, I feel like they're being very generous compared to other popular gacha's. You have a 6% chance of rolling the highest star units in the game compared to most others being 2-5%. Besides that, it also ups the chance after each 5 rolls not getting said 5*'s. The game also gives you around 160 orbs, if not more, for doing the story, from logging in, linking your nintendo account, etcetera. That's 40 units you can get. Even buying stones are mostly cheaper than other games. For being a gacha game, which is largely a cash grab for companies, Nintendo is being kind on us I'd say.
  20. It was indeed planned by Nintento to come out late last year. Shame though, those customes are really cute, I hope we get to see these (and more!) back later in the year :3
  21. Ah, my bad! Thanks for the heads up, this thread moves so fast >.<
  22. Is this rerolling heaven? (not mine... unfortunuatly xD)
  23. I fed one of 'em to my main Roy. He got +1 speed and 120SP. Kinda anti-climatic, I was expecting a bit more, especially since I feel the SP is a bit wasted, he probably would have capped it anyway ;_;
  24. Eehhh... ._. Time to fuse I guess? I'm so nervous xD.
  25. I'm not sure, so don't take my word for it, but my common sense would say that your SP that you have and the skills that you've bought will transfer over and the stats will reset (but slightly higher since higher star rating). So no getting skills/weapons after that.
