  1. It shouldn't be, that would be ridiculous ._. Edit: I'm more worried about what the differences are between promoting at lvl.20 or higher, since stats reset. You just miss out an amount of SP I guess if you promote pre-cap?
  2. This is just personal experience, but while I was super hyped for the game to come out, my local gameshop had no idea what 'fire emblem' even was. I confinced them to buy it, but they only ordered I believe a single copy, for me. A few months later, the game was on the internet market for hundreds of euro's. I'm not who's vault that is, but it was definitly very rare to see the game, atleast in my region in the Netherlands.
  3. Ofcourse. There are focus units which have a combined three percent chance to pull. It's the units on the Banner, so Lucina, Marth, etc. for the first banner and Camilla, Lyn etc. for the second one. So they're are 4 units which have a combined three percent chance to be pulled (0,75% each). Then there's the 'normal/common' pool which consists of a lot more characters that have a combined three percent chance to be pulled aswell. I believe there's about ~20 units in that one.
  4. I really doubt character growths are predetermined based on account. It could be, but I would say that's very strange and possibly also not fair. The perfect level-ups in a row thing is nothing special though, quite a few of characters got that too (5-stars seem to get them most often). But I agree with you that I'm not 100% sure, I can't be.
  5. I leveled two of the same units up and they got the exact same level-ups everytime. Seeing as the chances of that are abysmally small, I believe we're indeed 'free' of RNG.
  6. Good luck and have fun, I'll join you for atleast a while! :3
  7. On special maps, yes (this week, Sophia), but not in the story. Also, while I know your feelings towards not having Ike at the beginning, keep your head up! It's perfectly possible they'll come in two weeks after the current summons run out (15th of februari) and they'll be adding new ones :).
  8. Same answer as in the other thread xD. Tiki is good, keep her. Ike's not in the game (yet), atleast not as a pullable unit. He might / probably show up in the story though?
  9. He's not in the game, none of the Tellius characters are yet, sorry to say :c. Tiki as far as I've seen is really good. I'd say don't reroll.
  10. Red, both on minimap and in the battle scene. I think every mage's tome is the same color as his 'class'.
  11. Two in one pull D=? And Hector looks smexy as hell! Congrats! :3
  12. I think that's because we used to assume the chance of pulling a 5* unit was 3%. It's actually a base 6% (3% for focus 5* and 3% for regular 5*), plus the bonus chance if you don't get a 5* every 5 pulls.
  13. I pulled 60 so far. Seeing the rates, it seems I got really lucky getting five 5*'s out of 60 pulls :3. *knocks on wood*
  14. Just some small bits I've learned, not sure how much people have discussed some things yet though. - Duplicate characters can be merged into one, giving the original one extra stats and SP. The source ally is then lost. However, would you want to promote your unit onto a higher starcount (say, 4* to 5*), it would lose those bonuses. So for people min-maxing, only used duplicates on 5* heroes. - There's two summoning focuses (groups). One shows Marth, Lucina, Robin and Tiki. The other shows Camille, Lyn, Takumi and Roy. However, I've gotten Roy from the first group and Lucina from the second group. Who you can pull is shown in the 'Details' button of the page. - Not summoning a 5* character in 5 pulls raises your chances of getting one in the next five times by 0,5%, which is split evenly between the focus group and the regular 5*'s. So, after five pulls, if you didn't get a 5* unit, the 3% pull rate for 5* focus becomes 3,25% and the regular 5*'s will become 3,25% aswell. This increase will go on every five pulls that you don't get a 5*, until 120 pulls without a 5*. After 120 pulls, you'll get a guaranteed 5* unit. Be aware that this bonus will only be given to the focus group that you're summoning from. - I'd personally recommend getting the castle upgrades as soon as possible. They'll become quite expensive (10 orbs to increase exp earned from 80% to 100%), but it's worth it in the long run. I'll post more later, back to work! If there are any questions I'll be happy to answer them :).
  15. 5-pull n.1 - 4* Merric + 3* Lon'qu + 3* Robin (M) + 4* Setsuna + 5* Takumi Takumi seems really good! He even has an unlockable support skill that lets him counterattack no matter what range the enemy is :3. Damn, this is taking more time than I thought >.> I'll have to back at work soon, so I'll just show you guys the best ones and upload the other characters later if you want (60 pulls). 5* Lucina 5* Marth 5* Hawkeye 5* Roy
  16. Birdy I 1948144172 I'll welcome all with open arms :3. I hope we can use each others lead unit in some battles when the time is right!
  17. This music! Did we ever have the Fire Emblem music in English yet? Edit: I can log in, but I'm getting 'communication error' as soon as I can do so ;_;.
  18. I don't believe promoting will be the neccesary function to fuse two duplicates together. I'd put my money on that you can choose to fuse a duplicate (have to be at the same star rating) at any level resulting in higher stats and some abilities like mentioned. Will probably also have an icon like 1/x (x being the amount of times you can fuse a duplicate on that character).
  19. I'm with Eclipse on this one, for several reasons: 1. The time spend rerolling, while instead I could be playing the game I'm hyped about, is not worth it for me. 2. Even if I don't get a 5 star, thanks to the mechanic that ups the chance of getting higher chance unit after each pull of not getting one, atleast you get something for your troubles. 3. In most games, characters can only promote once. In this game, even a one star can end up to become a five star if you're dedicated enough and get the materials. 4. We don't know if rerolling will even work in this game.
  20. It depends on the amount of time it takes to earn orbs and the time it takes to reset your account, but unless you get like 10+ stones for something really early in the beginning it's probably best to do it as soon as you get 5 orbs. Basically, you start the game and most gacha games give you a free roll to show you how the summoning mechanic works early in the story. If it's not a fixed roll, you can roll and if the unit is not to your liking, reset your account and try it again. if it is a fixed roll, you play the beginning until you have enough stones to do a roll.
  21. Ah, thanks for the clarification! I take it that's the American Customer Support of Nintendo? All we can do is wait patiently I guess :).
  22. Sure! It's amazing, superhero comic-y and so... him. If his full artwork has dragon poop on his boots, it will officially be the best.
  23. To stop pulling more? ...Or it could be the yin that will lead to your yang, a 5 star Cath with a thousand starting special points, a golden border and getting the world first notification of Cath owner. Am I leading you onto the dark path of gacha yet?
  24. While I'm pretty sure you're right, I believe I saw a lot of people talk about 7pm before as opposed to 7am. This is going on a limb (curiosity too), but does Japan actually use AM and PM in their time notation though?
  25. ... I generally bite those at a certain point. Truly barbaric, I know ;_;. I'll consider myself warned xD. Good luck on those, I hope you get 'em! :3
