    If Stealth Rock is so great, then where is it in the modern metagame? http://www.smogon.com/dex/xy/formats/ou/ There are a lot of Pokemon who exist to Spin/Defog here. Tornadus, Zapdos, Starmie, Excadrill, and probably a few more. Those Pokemon are quite viable. Admittedly, I was under the assumption that Cloyster and Tentacruel were still OU. what happened lol

    Are you joking? Rapid Spin and Defog are considered amazing moves. They get rid of Stealth Rock, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Sticky Web, and Rapid Spin cuts Leech Seed.Forretress, Starmie, Excadrill, Cloyster, Tentacruel, Blastoise, and Ferrothorn are all great spinners. Skarmory and Zapdos are the chief Defog users.

    Stealth Rock isn't too good lol. Rapid Spin and Defog take care of Stealth Rock quite nicely. Toxic Spikes is worse. Aromatherapy and Heal Bell are the only moves to heal Poison. You can absorb the spikes with a Poison type, but that's still harder to do than carry a Pokemon with Rapid Spin/Defog. Rock is also a horrible type, with no Physical Rock move having a power over 50 and an accuracy of 100 at the same time. Power Gem, Rock Polish, and Stealth Rock are the only really good Rock moves. Stone Edge is in the same category as Focus Miss.

    I think Charizard Y looks way better. Charizard X packs on edgy elements like extra flames and a blue/black color scheme. Charizard Y actually looks like an extension of the real Charizard. Charizard Y is also Fire/Flying, which I like.

    Aren't one word titles the most articulate? I don't see any reason to arbitrarily change the titles. Like, Persona 4: Golden wouldn't be less interesting than Persona 4: Shadows of the Golden World or something like that. I feel both Awakening and Fates fit the themes of the game.

    I don't want to see Odin, Laslow, or Selena ever again, but it's not like this is a new phenomenon like you say it is. Gaiden took place in FE1's world and had Zeke, Est, Palla, and Catria. FE3 was a remake and sequel FE4 was confirmed to be in the same situation as Fates where it takes place a millennia ago. FE5 is a midquel. FE6 was the first game to have a unique world since FE1, and then it got a prequel. I hope the next game is distinct, but Fates is just continuing the Gaiden parallels that it already had.

    Ludicolo. As for Bullet Seed, I'll open that poll right now actually. I'd like to get a good amount of screenshots and update at least three times when I start, so I'll go ahead and open polls for the first few TMs.

    alright, I'm locking suggestions now. I won't be able to play until I go to my dad's tomorrow night, so this will take a little while to get started. But my team as it stands is: Blaziken, Murkrow, Gardevoir, Shedinja, Magikarp, Slaking, Swalot, Pelipper, Camerupt, Kecleon, Magneton, Dustox, Delcatty, Mightyena, Milotic, Flygon, Spinda, Manectric, Altaria, Exploud, Ludicolo, and Luvdisc. And Ninjask I guess since Shedinja requires getting a Ninjask. note that not everyone will get equal screentime lol, but I plan on taking Shedinja and Luvdisc to the League. The other four slots will probably go to Pokemon that did well.

    if I use Milotic (which sounds like a good idea), I'll "convieniently" find a Feebas through my friend the VBA GameShark Good Rod. I'm actually really looking forward to Spinda and Luvdisc tho no lie. I'll probably impose martial law for Luvdisc so it gets Toxic and Swagger from TMs/Move Tutors

    Idk, I always found the characters to be more important than the maps. The extra maps were nothing much. The best parts to me were getting wonderful characters like Athena.

    I love cliches and I hate "substance" SMT's religious themes are pretentious and boring compared to what you call "hegemonic." I think friendship is the most important thing in the world. I'd rather play a feel good game for the lowest coon denominator, which I am, than something for "intellectuals"

    I was thinking that using horrible Pokemon would be the interesting part, as is a suggestion I've gotten. In addition, I'll probably grind only because I'll make this run's gimmick that I will use literally every Pokemon that is requested of me at least for a little bit. That means basically having a different team all of the time. Edit: I'll also allow all TM and HM choices to go to all of you :^)

    I felt the need to join in on the screenshot LP craze, so here I am. This won't have too many rules, and I'll try to get as much coverage of everything as I possibly can. I'll obviously get a lot of dialogue and important battles, and I can actually be at least a little informative if I need to considering how well I know Emerald. Anyway, I'm going to let you decide which Pokemon I use. Hoenn Dex only of course. I'm going to try to use GameShark to get a Murkrow as my one locked team member because Murkrow is bae. This won't be a randomized or anything though. This will start about 30 hours from now, but I just wanted to see what some people had in mind for team members before I actually started. and yes if you vote in Wurmple, I'll even use Wurmple

    I'm fine with the kids because I like fanservice, but I dislike all three that were chosen. should've been Laurent, Cynthia, and Noire. They aren't as popular but I love them way more.

    Are you here solely to trash the game? Feel free to dislike it, but reaction images/videos aren't constructive in the slightest. Anyway, the game plays like Persona, which is a wonderful thing. My all-consuming love of music is also really helping. I actually prefer the idols and idol aesthetic to if this game tried to be annoying and grim and colorless like mainline SMT. People say this is Persona x F, but that's a good thing. Mainline SMT is way too grimdark. I love anime antics, so this is right up my alley.

    I'm not seeing any proof of an ITP. I brought up the idea, but it doesn't really make sense. If you were really town, you wouldn't know about a deal the Mafia made lol even if this is real. Your role never said that you can peer into OC, did it? If someone else has proof of something like this, it would be appreciated if you spoke up about it. Likewise, the Mafia obviously would have a numbers advantage. The ITP would not have a chance at winning if they worked with scum.

    I'd rather be rewarded for playing badly than playing well. Bad players deserve more help than good players. It isn't fair to lol things away just because they aren't good enough. That's ridiculous. Good players should just live with the satisfaction of playing well. You shouldn't get special treatment. If SD's side chapters were available through both losing units and a small amount of turns, that would help both camps. But if I had to choose between one of losing units or a certain amount of turns for a requirement, I would choose the one that helps the worse player. That's why FE5/FE6's gaidens are so terrible. They force insane amounts of rushing when rushing is not fun in any way.

    wait wait wait Elie says that there is a chance of MYLO today. We have 9 players. What? That would lead to 4 tomorrow. Are there really 4 Mafs? This game is actually probably unwinnable regardless.
