  1. I consider the more human-like shape to be big, but also the fact that it's comprised of two Cores if the anime has any indication. One of them is kind, while the other one is colder. I could see how that fits Hel's two faces, but it's a bit of a stretch. It really wouldn't look that out of place if it was more than just one color comprising the bulk of the body. It makes it look more like a giant slab of something than anyone else.
  2. And we know there's more to update because you still haven't finished bohemian rhapsody
  3. Zygarde Complete and Zygarde 10% are absolutely based on myths. Their designs are self-explanatory. Zygarde Complete is Hel. Zygarde 10% is Fenrir. They're purposely non-reptilian for that reason. The Complete forme makes sense as a Pokemon simply because of the Norse basis. It's like saying that Kyogre is not a Pokemon because it's based on Leviathan.
  4. Nothing about this says X/Y sequels. It's more likely that Z got scrapped so they just threw it in somewhere. It doesn't even transform based on plot. It transforms based on health. I at least hope we don't go back to Kalos. It was a fine region but revisiting regions is a bad thing if Gen II is any indication.
  5. Zygarde 10% and 100% have been revealed. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=l7cW0F4JMsc https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeZ_8s_kWXg In case anyone thought they were anime exclusive. We hear the battle theme and see the like three different signature moves.
  6. Its collar is made of Rock, and it's generally the color of rock. That name's an interesting pun but it's probably a Shiba Inu so it wouldn't make sense.
  7. Both look really good. We also get to see Magearna ingame and stuff Nekkoala is Normal type with Definite Sleep. It means that it can only be affected by Sleep and not Burn/Freeze/etc. I'd expect it to become Normal/Psychic because all dream-based Pokemon are Psychic. Iwanko is a Rock type with Keen Eye or Vital Spirit. It's pure Rock or whatever.
  8. unravel is indeed pretty amazing I haven't even watched Tokyo Ghoul but I love it
  9. Tharja's Japanese name is Sallya, so I say Thar-ya.
  10. First, emotes aren't funny, and second, you haven't buttressed how you feel at all. I know opinion blah blah blah, but Klefki's design is inherently clever and deserves props just for the amount of thought that went into it. Way more thought than Honedge by far. Klefki exists to represent a myth. That's like saying that Sneasel and Froslass are bad designs because they're based on Yokai but you don't understand their designs. Designs must be looked at objectively yet people never tend to do that. So something like Growlithe is uninspired while something like Sableye which has an interesting basis is typically better. Even if they aren't aesthetically appealing.
  11. Klefki is not terrible. It's design has an obvious basis. There are myths of fairies stealing tiny objects. How is this stylized? As a key ring. It's a great design because it's a stylized personification of myths.
  12. Garbodor is what's commonly referred to as ugly cute. I mean, you may not get the appeal, but it's design still works perfectly. For the same reasons, Stunfisk is also great. if you think it's bad for being a garbage bag then lol. You can have a good design and be an object. Just ask Vanillite, Honedge, and Klefki.
  13. How is Garbodor bad? Literally the only argument is "it's ugly" for which I say, that's the point lol It's a garbage monster. What do you expect?
  14. Ace Attorney's gameplay is still really fun, so I don't know why it came up here. It has a heavy story, but it's not exactly full visual novel. It has investigation and trial gameplay, and those still have a lot of involvement. A lot of fun often comes from deciphering what exactly is happening in a case, so it doesn't exactly belong in the same type as other visual novels.
  15. I love plot armor because I hate character deaths more than anything else in fiction. If plot armor means they live longer, then I'm all for it. Corrin outfit is super cool dude. Especially female Corrin. Everything about Corrin is cool and stylish. If anything, someone like Ike with bad armor would have "plot armor" Also, that last term is a really terrible thing to use so maybe don't do that?
  16. Armaldo, Archen, Archeops, Arbok, and Beautifly (Japanese: Agehunt) all have something here for a reason. They all start with A. The voting list was also in alphabetical order. The only reason they're here is because people probably picked the first Pokemon they saw that they liked. I mean, it's fine that they're up there. But they're probably there for that reason. @GlaceonMage I don't think it's very ridiculous for me to like the Trubbish line. Trubbish is adorable, and Garbodor isn't that bad either. I actually really feel bad for it because people don't like it. I always care for stuff like Klink, Trubbish, and now Simisear I guess because of the fact that people don't like them. It makes me sad to see them get bullied.
  17. Ampharos and Golduck were the best parts of B2W2's old Pokemon in the early game. Stuff like Arcanine and Lucario are sickeningly overdone. There's more Pokemon in general, but the Unova Pokemon aren't the focus anymore. I mean, you can get these Pokemon at the same times, but it's still not the same. Why use Weezing, Arcanine, Electivire, and Lucario when the better Garbodor, Darmanitan, Galvantula, and Conkeldurr exist. And while I like Golduck, why not use Swanna instead? Unova's Pokemon are always, without fail, the best Pokemon in the series. It was a great thing after the utter mediocrity of Sinnoh.
  18. Swoobat is great though. I'm using a Swoobat on my most recent run, and it's actually really good. It has Psychic and Air Slash without much difficulty and can get some other moves for coverage. Mine knows Psychic, Air Slash, Calm Mind, and Assurance and I find it very useful.
  19. The test's called the Bechdel test. Yeah, a lot of characters in FE utterly fail the test.
  20. I only really care about Sora, so the Aqua/Back Cover parts aren't that interesting to me. I'll probably wait for KHIII. do you have a reason to come into every game you don't like's topic to whine
  21. I can't explain all of those, but Elgyem's evolution level is probably a reference to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. A lot of those really aren't that late considering the high stats many of them have. By that merit, Clawitzer, Goodra, and Dragalge are also too late.
  22. What? This doesn't make much sense. Darumaka is one of the best Pokemon in the game so that's on you. Blitzle is pretty weird to use so you can have that one though. Likewise, I don't think it means very much with the leveling stuff. I level faster in B/W than I do in any other Pokemon game because of the great EXP formula. I would absolutely recommend BW over B2W2. BW has such a great selection of unique Pokemon that it would be criminal to not try it out. There's Serperior, Stoutland, Leavanny, Scolipede, Swoobat, Gigalith, Krookodile, Scrafty, Darmanitan, Excadrill, Gothitelle, Crustle, Cofagrigus, and so much more. B2W2 actually has a worse Pokedex because the Unova Pokemon get shafted. Instea of cool stuff like Throh and Tympole early game, we get Riolu, Growlithe, Koffing, and Magnemite which aren't very fun to use. I also maintain that Unova has the best music, cities, and character design, but that's neither here nor there.
