  1. Recall from the start of this day: Euklyd and I asked Shinori if this was worded to imply that he knew Refa to be the cause of his action failing. No response. I then wonder why mafia decided to kill an informed over a JoaT, to which Shinori replied: Thus Shinori knows that he was roleblocked, and his "action failing" was not a precise retelling of his night action result. If we believe Shinori, we conclude that mafia decided to NK BBM and hook Shinori. We also know that a scum hooker exists. No one has claimed hooker except Shinori, who obviously didn't hook himself. Marth says that his safeguard on Refa is what caused Shinori's action to fail. If both Shinori and Marth are town, we can only assume that the bolded is a mistaken statement, because Shinori was both hooked and had his target safeguarded. Conversely, if Marth and Shinori are scumbuddies, then this is an oversight made while trying to cover for one another's faked night actions. That's the end of the objectively-thought theory of what I came up with. imo, Marth and Shinori are probably scumbuddies. But I don't have any concrete evidence. Shinori's #349-#351 aren't logical - how does Marth's daytime ability make him 90% town rather than scum? It's a statement that supports a townread based on nothing. There's the exchange in Marth's #346 and Shinori's #347. Recall Shinori's initial softclaim where he said that he was a JoaT with 1-shot vig, and ? shots of other roles. The language is pretty ambiguous because he says "my roles are like rolecop, commute and hook," so we didn't actually know what he was claiming. That Marth is the one who confirms that this is indeed Shinori's fullclaim first just doesn't feel normal, or organic. It's as though he's just confirming the fakeclaim in place of Shinori's absence? The interactions ping me as scummy. I could be wrong. I've been playing poorly for quite a bit of this game. But it's LYLO and that's what I think, so make of it what you will, I guess. If someone has more information and can think of a likelier scumteam based on solid interactions, they should present it. I'm worn out on this game. But moving on. . . let's reconsider what possible scum roles we have: According to Euklyd's Watcher claim, BBM was ninja killed. So there's a scum ninja. According to BBM's informed, there's a QT infiltrator. According to Shinori's hooked claim, there's a hooker. I don't think a town JoaT is balanced against this scumteam, but that's just me. Town started with allegedly an unlimited watcher, unlimited tracker, JoaT, informed, doc, five VTs, backup, and safeguard. From this, I can say: no, lynching Euk would be a poor decision. We don't have enough claimed investigative roles to safely conclude that Euk is fakeclaiming. Lynching Cam would also be a bad idea; he's as close as this game has to a cleared townie because of Shin's tracker report. Obviously, I don't think I'm scum. FFM is a wild card, as no one has results on him and he's been about as alive as Junko these last few days. The only interaction that would tie FFM with my scumreads would be this, but considering that is all sorts of WIFOMy. I don't know what to think of Refa. The last thing I can think for us to do to possibly salvage a scum lynch today would be to start OC massclaiming. It could lead to something. I don't know.
  2. Town LYLO: "So it appears I'm actually terrible at this game" Scum LYLO: "Please don't be Loved"
  3. Refa, and a fullclaim from Shinori.
  4. May have found something telling but need to wait for all claims to stop scum from fake claiming to fill in the contradiction
  5. Actually, this is a good point. FFM and Marth haven't been terribly active lately. Hoping they stop by long enough to claim. Shinori, who do you think is scum? Refa presented a case on you right after the day started; do you think he's scummy?
  6. Not going to vote Shinori. At the end of the day, I think that a town JoaT is likelier to exist than a 1-shot scum vig/SK that killed BBM N2, but this is still dependent on what else Shinori claims to have. Speaking of which, massclaim needs to start, and it needs to start 15 hours ago. Go go go.
  7. 1. You were scum in SFMM4 and did this when Poly voted Junko because it's literally the most effective strategy for scum to use at LYLO and trying to mislead town into a mislynch like with previous days is risky and unnecessary. Why do you keep saying this isn't the case? How is getting a mislynch through conversation with town easier or more effective than waiting to turbo? 2. The only ones visible in the thread have been you and I, and the game has been pretty inactive since D2. You know this. 3. The original comment wasn't game-related. 1. why 2. ate, k w/e 3. That's why people think you're scummy 4. How does having an un-CCed vigshot clear you as town I already brought up that this game could be 4/2/1 and BBM was targeted by both scum factions You say that 2 scum nightkills (which is realistically at most 1 nightkill + 1-shot sniper because of the one N2 death) make no sense in a game with three vanillas, but the same goes for a town JoaT alongside three vanillas Like why not just distribute the JoaT's shots across the vanillas in order to prevent the potential JoaT death from making the game extremely swingy? If you're sure I'm scum and will vote me tomorrow anyway, why the hell would you unvote me now Timing your vote only matters if you're waiting for your scumbuddies to get online to turbo all at once
  8. 2 anons and SB's not on all I can say is gg and wp if you're scum, shinori
  9. If I was scum, I would shut up and let town!Refa or town!Euklyd or town!anyone with a scumread on you vote you, and then turbo you with the entire scumteam I'm not voting you and discussing instead why would scum do anything except lurk at this point
  10. because scum will turbo me and win if there's a 3-person scumteam the longer that vote is up the more time scum will get to pull it off you used the same tactic in sfmm4
  11. Still here. For how much longer, who knows. Shinori, I'm not even voting you yet. Why are you voting anyone at this point? I'm trying to bring up everything I can to help make the most educated decision. Can you not see that?
  12. Actually. . . this is a fair point. I just don't get how a JoaT can exist alongside 3+ vanillas? Ehhh. . . Assuming the game is 4/3 with only one nightkill left, this does make sense and it's possible for Shinori to have been a 1-shot vig. But assuming 4/2/1, the same is still possible. . .
  13. Pretty sure that scum is going to be inconspicuous until one vote is put on a townie so that they can turbo them, in the same way that you won SFMM4. What does scum stand to gain from actively making cases on you? Why are you cleared town? It's also rather odd that Shinori isn't dead, seeing as he claimed to have shots of roles "like rolecop, roleblock and commute" remaining. Why would scum choose to kill BBM, who was only known to be informed, rather than a JoaT? If someone drove BBM and Shinori or something similar, they should claim.
  14. Yay actionspec. Say mafia killed Eury N1. Probably a reasonable assumption because she effortposts. But we have two N1 kills, so let's assume Shinori did kill Poly. Both N1 deaths are now accounted for. With no doctor, every kill should make its mark N2 as well. But only one death occurs. So. . . scenario (1) - both mafia and SK!Shinori targeted BBM scenario (2) - mafia targeted BBM and JoaT!Shinori targeted Refa with something else (probably either roleblock or rolecop based on yesterday's softclaim) It's just a gut feeling, but I don't think there's an SK in this setup. . . Moving on. . . I'm reading this as though it's implying that you know/think that Refa himself was the cause of the action failing. Can you verify if that's the case? Refa should out if he commuted or something.
  15. Oh, and, uh. . . what's a census talker?
  16. Won't be able to post for another 12-16 hours. I think that Shinori is most likely to flip scum at this time. I think the claim was warranted, as there were enough players online to shift the lynch to him at the time. What bugs me is that he ambiguously claimed JoaT; all we know that he's claimed is a single vigshot, and he hasn't elaborated on what else he can do. A JoaT seems against the nature of this setup in that we have probably at least three vanillas (me, FFM, and Cam by virtue of Shin's result) and it would be really swingy to give three townies no actions and a JoaT like four shots of something, which I assume is around the case from Shinori's softclaim. The shift from FFM and I from being his scumreads to his townreads across D2, with no explanations for either, is also pretty bad. The rest of his reads were stated to be dependent on what Shin flipped, with the reasoning "these people are scum if they contribute to a mislynch," which I don't understand. Not clear on why he thought Shin was scummy to start with, or why a Refa/BBM scumteam is likely. Obviously, not going to vote Shinori now because LYLO, but those are my two cents.
  17. I'll state now that this is indeed one of the reasons I'm not changing my vote, and agree that people should definitely consider it regardless of how you flip, along with everyone else's reasonsNot sure if this is a non-denial denial? You're still saying you misread?
  18. Shinori's claim makes less sense in a game with possibly three vanillas but I think Shin's not recognizing his role synopsis is more reliable to go by Going to stick with this vote
  19. Shinori seemed to say he was a rolecop as well? Actually, by saying "like," I'm not even sure what Shinori's claime beyond a vigshot.
  20. I don't buy that Shin could mistake the "in short, you are _______" bit of his PM for watcher instead of tracker. That doesn't have much to do with reading comprehension; it's written explicitly.
  21. Shin should claim. Shinori's last post doesn't sit well with me, but with about an hour left I don't want to tie the votes with no one else on.
  22. You're talking as though town knows who town is.Euklyd said it earlier - town can be wrong. As it stands, you're forming your scumreads based on a flip that hasn't happened yet, and even then you're assuming scum intent behind the mislynch without explaining what's scummy with the cases themselves, just that they could end up wrong.
  23. Jester would be pretty nice, though I imagine it'd be unfairly easy to win as. Wouldn't want to roll SK, as it basically seems to be a gimped mafia faction, having no buddies and an even more difficult wincon.
  24. Fair point. But the same doesn't go for BBM? There's a very good reason to; scum!BBM would know to trust my claim and then help redirect the lynch in order to increase the chances of lynching a town PR over a VT - just like how things actually played out. I'm not understanding your unconditional townread on him. I'm assuming you meant Junko? I agree that it's odd why Euklyd would appear upset at Junko's lynch, since I'm pretty sure town!Euklyd would have willingly consolidated against his secondary scumread once it became clear that my lynch wasn't viable. Isn't "refuge in audacity" referring to when Shinori sarcastically scumclaimed? Refa said it was a "weak point" and made Shinori appear slightly scummier; in any case, I don't see how claiming scum under any circumstances would help clear someone as town. wrt bold - what's your own opinion on it? Is Shinori scummy for it or not? My main issues with Shinori are how he's been appearing periodically in the thread to make note of things unrelated to his reads, which he still has yet to explain. He's also not voting, despite having me at the top of his lynch priority.
  25. Euklyd. Associative reads on dead people contribute to current reads like this: I thought you and Eury were buddies; that Eury's flipped town makes me reconsider. My "buddy" Junko flipped town, and I would expect any genuine, open-minded townie to make a note of that instead of opening their post with "see, this is what we could've avoided if we lynched his 'scumbuddy' instead" and leaving it at that. Fair enough. Awaiting your reads, then. Could you explain why you think so? Much as I appreciate the support, this reads like sheeping to me and I'd like to see more from you, like your other reads.
