  1. +Str/-Def Robin@Warrior/General/Wyvern/Hero (LB/Agg/Luna/Ignis/Counter) x10. With Streetpass, you're guaranteed to die before you can get any attacks off against a player who knows what they're doing and is properly prepared, which means you lose. To maximize your chances of winning, you need to take the very low chance that you do get to do something and then maximize the chance that that gets you a KO. Lethality is never going to get over 50%, and that's with RK. This is around 80% (neither counting DG), before factoring in any Counter damage. Those four classes all have slight variations, with Wyvern having the most Mov, Hero the most Skl, General the most Str and Warrior a nice compromise between the three. And like I said before, it counts as a loss if a player dismisses your team without fighting it. That shouldn't be your goal, you want people to fight you, not ignore you.
  2. Without LB, your Streetpass team will be a joke, unfortunately. Unless you happen to get someone who's early into a playthrough, you simply won't have the durability to take the initial volley and survive to retaliate. That's pretty bad Mag, I'd say you just got screwed. Promoting her will at least yield a decent promotion bonus. but shouldn't affect growth much. In general it's best to reclass the children once at 10 and then promote at 20. If you're happy with the childrens' current promotion options you can do it anyway without reclassing (though since Lucina already has Aether, GL is a pretty terrible pick for skills), or you could reclass and risk dealing with rammed stat caps.
  3. Is your concern winning, or getting people to actually fight you? Most people just dismiss stuff with excessive cheese. As for Lethality, the game rounds everything down to the next percent, so any Skl above a multiple of 4 won't help. Not that 1% Lethality makes that big of a difference anyway... For direct wins, Male is always preferred for 1-range Counterbombing.
  4. Every time I look at Roy, I think of PM and cry. Katarina's is pretty cool. Since it's done by Kozaki, it fits a lot better with the rest of the game's art than the other styles. I think it's also the only official artwork of a female GM, since there are no ingame characters or enemies with GM as their default class.
  5. Assuming it's gone, putting the audio back on the cart isn't an issue- the problem is modifying a menu to make it switchable. Besides, dual audio isn't controversial at all- if they had the option at one point, there would be no point to removing it. ...I don't suppose it's the kind of thing that could be unlocked by beating the game?
  6. Dual audio: I didn't watch the stream, is it actually confirmed to not be there, or was there just no option to switch in the place where it was in Awakening?
  7. Lucina will likely want to do one base reclass before promoting. The good base class skills for ingame are Veteran, AT and Discipline, so she'll want to get one herself (and inherit another unless you think you can reach GF in time, though that's not happening without grinding). So decide whether you'd like her first promoted class to be Grandmaster, Hero or Paladin and then pass whatever that route doesn't get (Veteran is most important, then Discipline). All three will be really good on Normal.
  8. Well, the term it's based on does, but not that usage of it. Right then. Mechanically, the main issues I see are large run-on sentences, often caused by redundancy and/or stating the obvious. For example, in the very first sentence you've got "which I'm going to say, right now for the record"- since you're saying it already, you probably don't need to announce your intent to speak, so "which for the record" has exactly the same tone while taking less time to say. Other than that, there are times when you say stuff like awkward or bizarre a lot. I'd advise trying to cut down on adjectives in general and have Robin express his emotions some other way. Stylistically, you described your Avatar as "a deranged, narcissistic, creepily pragmatic and downright depraved individual". The only trait I'm getting from this Robin, though, is snark- he feels more like he's designed to do nothing but provide (unflattering) commentary on the surrounding events. Now, there's nothing wrong with a snarky protagonist, but there are two notable risks you run in doing so: people who happen to like whatever you're insulting won't like it, and people who feel they could do a better job at insulting it themselves won't get anything out of it (and thus will see your character as completely empty if there's nothing else there). A great example of Robin being snarky for no payoff is in insulting Marth's disguise: those deductive abilities aren't impressing anyone (which is what deductive abilities are meant to do), but that's not even the point of this Robin anyway. I'm assuming your purpose is to make an artistic interpretation and not have a rant, so let's see about getting Robin's character slightly more on track. Right now, his general responses to events generally consist of skepticism and cowardice (see: being appointed to grand tactician, the sky portal appearing, etc). The focus instead should be on missing the point in egotistical ways (ex: hear Virion and Cherche's description of Walhart, zone out a little, think they're talking about him instead), or suggesting good ideas and then being completely ignored (ex: in Valm Robin wants to exploit the empire's size to bring it down, but Chrom doesn't even acknowledge him and orders a charge on Steiger instead). Those aren't must-dos, they're just ideas for how you could approach this from angles that can be milked much more. But since you have pointing out absurdities in the story as one of your goals, being able to milk things for all they're worth is important. Going back to Lucina's gender as an example, you've currently got Robin straight-up identifying her as a girl and being annoyed nobody else does. What you could do instead is have him suspect something's off (but never say what)... Then have him bring it up with her later (long after her reveal) by asking her if she's really a dude in disguise. It has the same implication (he saw right through her initial disguise) but has far more potential as a brick joke or even a running gag.
  9. There have been countless attempts to make "the definitive FE6 remake and not once has one both been completed and met its goal. So it's not really something that's been done before, though less for technical reasons and more because nobody can agree on what would make a FE6 remake better than the original.
  10. In that case, there's a fixed growths patch by Hextator out there somewhere that does exactly what you need. I couldn't find any working links, though, so you might want to try asking in the Resources section.
  11. You need to have Homebrew installed to use the patch any way you look at it. But there are still plenty of ways to get Homebrew on 10.5, so that shouldn't be a problem.
  12. At no point do we see anyone react to anything past their recruitment bar Chrom, Robin, Lucina, Fred, Lissa, Say'ri, Sumia, and Lucina's mom (this even applies to Flavia and Basilio). This is definitely a shame, but also hardly unique to Lon'qu. ...Child Paralogues don't count.
  13. The JP SE doesn't have it already on the cart. If it did, it wouldn't be any harder to patch than the other two routes.
  14. That reddit post cites one of your other links as a source, so it doesn't count (because if the other is wrong, it is too). As for the store text, "allows purchasers to play Revelations three weeks prior to launch on eShop" doesn't necessarily mean it's on the cart- it could just be an early-access download (sort of like the NES games included with the Ambassador program). And in the Best Buy link you gave, it says: with no mention of Revelation. When sellers give conflicting information, it's always a sign that they don't know everything and shouldn't be taken as perfect sources. Furthermore, none of that is new, those preorder pages have said that since Nov.12th- if it was cut-and-dried for that long, it shouldn't still be as vague as it is. So while it sounds like all three are on one cartridge, no download needed, that's not quite good enough to say it is for sure. What I'd really like to see is something like a Direct, or at least an official Tweet saying that no download will be needed to play Revelation with the SE. And since that's not likely to happen, we'll just have to wait for launch and see what happens.
  15. Looks cool! Do you want (possibly lengthy) advice, or just another reader?
  16. Definitely have a second seal on hand for Lucina when you get her. Lissa being stuck at 20 for so long isn't good, if you can't get another SS right now then just promote her to Sage.
  17. First off, it sold way more than 205k. Second, that wasn't even the base number needed to sell to not have it be the end of the series (though it's what you're thinking of- it's 250k). Third, the US price was $40 and not $45, fourth the price differs by country, fifth there's DLC which costs more and not everyone bought, and sixth revenue != budget, so it's not even something worth calculating. So no, it's not that simple. I'm not aware of any actual budget data being published, for Awakening or any other Nintendo games. It might not be something Nintendo does.
  18. Capping units when you don't have the resources to promote/reclass them (assuming you did P4 asap) isn't a plus, it means you'll either have to stop using them entirely or let exp go to waste. Sumia is definitely the most important to promote, though, and Dark Flier is the superior choice (Tomes typically more than make up for any stat loss, let alone double GF passdown- but Falco is a good place to go once you've finished DF). Dracoshield definitely wouldn't hurt on her. Did you get the Arms Scroll?
  19. Be really careful buying expensive stuff from shops, you get almost no money whatsoever until Valm and it's extremely easy to go broke, run out of weapons and have to fight on fumes. Par.3 is doable, if you have Rescue it should be fairly easy to save at least one villager. They always charge for the bottom left corner, so you'll need to rush there and secure it first if you don't want to need to keep Rescuing over and over. There's also a trick involving Falcos and an enemy Barb you can do to effectively imprison them in the top left corner instead (much easier to secure), but by the time you have the resources for that you can clear it normally anyway.
  20. And that's what matters most! If you had fun making it, how good or bad the end result is doesn't really matter, since it's just a bonus. If you don't have fun, then even if the end result is terrific it's not usually worth the effort. As for character growths, they're in the Nightmare character editor module. If you haven't taken a look at The Ultimate Tutorial, you may want to do that as it's very comprehensive and covers all this stuff.
  21. People wanted to have the current progress now, rather than waiting longer for a bigger update.
  22. Google and Youtube. No different than it was last time an update was given: all maingame chapters are complete for all three routes, and about 10% of the supports.
  23. Stahl!Yarne is pretty insane as an Archer. Easily Lunatic+ tier, never mind Hard. I'm a little confused how you're going to get some of these without grinding (namely Severa) in order to minimize time spent outside of Archer, though.
