If you keep the character pool so small that you can deploy (nearly) everyone (or keep forced deployment like you've been doing), that won't matter much. If people ever try to make tier lists or efficiencize this game, Ezra is going to be the first guy to get bagged considering all his (for turn count's sake) bad properties. If you're worried about character balance, you'd do better to nerf the bird. But we wouldn't want that.

My God, this is amazing. I wanted to post something among the lines of "Cedar I love your work and you have a great sense of humor" but I noticed she's not the only one making this so...you guys are all great. Thanks for making this demo, it definitely made my day. The Black Knight, the vendor, and the ridicule of the French were definitely my favorite parts.

Use Ayra to bait him, she has Nihil so her chance of dying is pretty low (maybe he can 2HKO her with Continue but that's it). Alec has Nihil too but he gets doubled unless he has a speed blessing + Slim Sword, or Speed Ring. I've always found this is harder than it looks nowadays but I can understand beginners having trouble. Just push Aideen forward, surrounded by good guys if possible, but if she gets attacked it's no biggie since her avoid in a forest is pretty awesome. Maybe look at Balcerak's Ch1 video?

Everything about Cecilia is good, except for her stats. She has just about every form of utility possible without doing something like allowing her to steal or dance. Well, I guess she could do with a higher staff rank.
