Yup. Some encounters can be very deadly because of this, which is why it's very important to keep yourself at maximum health at all times.

Well i always heal after a battle in any RPG so that's just standard.

Live footage of me, the one who has been the most positive about the Cold Steel games here, undoing that.

Reminder that this is a rite of passage. If this doesn't happen to you at least once while playing Xenoblade, did you really play Xenoblade?

TL;DR, were I in Erebonia, doctors would make bank trying to fix people's broken noses. XD

I once heard some Indian kingdoms would punish adultery by breaking noses, it resulted in premodern India being a leader in rhinoplasty.

Considering the methods that other countries would punish adultery centuries ago, being left off with a broken nose is like, not that bad in comparison.

This is the first time i've heard of an opus file but anyway, this was the first result: https://onlineconvertfree.com/convert-format/ogg-to-opus/.

Idk if that's what you're looking for but there it is. There's one at least.

I got that as well, but online converters tend to be ehh...
Still, thanks^^

Hmm, as I thought, the Kingdom of Jerusalem ain't gonna last long. Even despite having the protection of Egypt, they've lost several counties already. The Shia Caliphate launched a Jihad against Egypt (which failed) and some Emirs in the Abbasid Caliphate took advantage to chip at Jerusalem (which didn't fail).

This world is certainly turning interesting.

I think one of the most interesting developments is the Kingdom of Pictland. They've taken over northern Ireland, while the rest finally united into a single Kingdom of Ireland. Even in this timeline they don't have the north! They compensated by taken almost every Welsh land instead, apparently. Though Pictland too has expanded south, taking a good portion of OTL!England. Which is actually not going to be a thing, since having the English culture show up in the game outside deliberate player intervention is very hard. Like, it's a full process. First, you need a Norse character to rule over Breton, Franks, or... I think Occitan too, counties. With a Norse ruler, these counties convert to Norman. Then a Norman character needs to rule over an Anglo-Saxon county in the isle of Great Britain.. and it also needs to be after 1150 or so. Then does the English culture is formed.

Such a process means the AI will hardly do it. With luck you barely have Normans showing up. In my game, there is a lone Norman county over in the Brittany region. The one and only one so far. I'm pretty sure there is no Norman character in the entire game, though I haven't really checked.

On that same route, the Pict culture is meant to turn into Scottish... but Pictland has been doing quite well, it's likely the trigger will never come. So the Pict will remain Pict, and not turn into Scots. This is something that can happen for cultures that are meant to evolve into others. Could've kept my realm Visigoth if I wanted to. In fact, becoming too powerful early on could've barred me from turning Castilian. Thankfully, Reconquista events can sometimes make Castilian (and even Catalan and Portuguese I think, the former definitely at least) people show up, so culture conversion via education can still be a thing. As well the Holy Orders, they spawn Castilian people. Once I get to convert a county, the rest of the cultural split events can still trigger.

So earlier today, i beat the secret world of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. By default, upon beating the game, you get access to the first level of the secret world. To get to the other two, you need to have collected all the KONG letters in every level and completed each world's Temple level. I did all of that natrually as i played through the game.

So i complete the secret world and as i completed each level there, the game made it look like i was working towards unlocking the final, ultimate level, you know. Instead, my reward is.......Hard Mode. In Hard Mode, you can't use items, you can't use any buddy Kongs, and if you die in one hit. So it's like the daredevil missions from the Super Mario Galaxy games. Not gonna lie, i was a little disapointed in that.

I'm kinda disapointed in the secret world in general, the levels are similar to the Temple levels in that they are the most challenging and lack checkpoints but make up for it by being short. But it's because of those levels' short lengths that i was hoping there'd be more to the secret world. Oh well, it's not too big of a bother.

Alright, made it to Nadiria. Time to do the last leg of Chapter 5! Well, for next time.

Pft, I tried to see if I could farm at least one Liquid Metal Helm... yeah, not gonna happen. They're too expensive at the Casino and trying to get a drop or steal from a King Metal Slime is... uh huh. Oh well...

This is one of the worst movies i've ever seen. It's equally as bad as Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters, if for different reasons. But if you held a gun to my head, i'd say Planet of the Monsters is marginally better because it looks nicer.

And i just want to point out, The Mighty Kong came out the same year as Godzilla 98. 1998 was truly a dark year for the two most iconic kaiju of the world.

Man, White hair + Red Eyes is such a dangerous combination

That it sure is.
Also white hair + yellow/gold eyes. And as taught to me most recently: white hair + pink eyes.
Man, it's like JRPGs hate white-haired people or something.
... Is what I would say, but then I remembered Arnice. Also Black Heart, who narrowly avoided the white + red combo due to Noire's eye color changing along with her hair.
