Actually, I would have thought that Geno being owned by Square-Enix would make him a third-party character.

After all, Sakurai can't put him in the game unless Square-Enix gives him their permission to do so.

I honestly don't either, I just see those as possiblities if they do decide to throw one in

I'm still hoping for Isaac from Golden Sun with a small but extremely extremely slim hope for Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia for our possible Namco dude but that is as likely as me being able to fly at will

I'm with ya on both of those, especially Lloyd, though I'd be fine with almost any main Tales Protagonist at this point. I know they said just because Namco is working on it doesn't mean they'll get represented, but a girl can always wish.... T^T

As for potential Mario people (even though they really don't need anymore), I'd be fine with Rosalina since she seems like a cool character overall that probably wouldn't be a Peach clone and we really do need more female fighters; I'll take what I can get at this point, even Wii Fit Trainer....

Toad's kinda already Peach's shield again so I doubt he's being playable.

I see it as Bowser Jr., Paper Mario and Waluigi in the top 3 with Rosalina in 4th.

And Dr. Mario if we have another clones situation again.

The only possibilities I see are Rosalina and Bowser Jr. Toad is already Peach's move again, like DoofInHat said. Waluigi is just in side games and really serves little purpose. He'll likely stay as an assist trophy.

I'm a little disappointed that the sword still looks kinda short, but eh.... I can deal. Anyways, Shield breaker. They could have at least shown him doing it, but all the while, a good upgrade

I'm guessing the Shield Breaker is still the stab from Brawl and not the overhead slash from Melee. Since I've never had the shield breaker ever break a shield outside of being fully charged (and having the other player intentionally stand still to test out the move and its shield breaking abilities), I'd say this is a welcome change. Sure, Marth is already quite strong as he is, but either way, I feel like regardless of tiers, all special moves should be good and practical to use.

If they are still using the stab from Brawl, I hope they change around the hitboxes so that it'll have an easier time of hitting. I mean, there's been a lot of times where I used that move, the sword clearly touches the opponent, yet the move doesn't hit. It's quite similar to Yoshi's grab in Melee, where quite a few times you clearly see the move connecting with the opponent, but it acts like the attack missed.

I broke shields like every tournament set in brawl. It was more powerful than Sakurai thinks. A very good tool for when you have an opponent pressure in his shield, which Marth excels at. Not that I mind the buff ;)
