Those were the days, when we needed three topics per game and tier list debates were still interesting. Nowadays, I'm here on and off (more off) because of school, and I'll be graduating in June. (after all, I learned my scum hunting techniques from you and they work great most of the times at least) what made you interested in mafia? why did you pause playing here in the middle? what was your favorite mafia game so far? who did you have the most trouble reading so far? what do you plan to do when your studies are over? Didn't have Comedy Central as a kid but it's pretty funny from what I've seen 2. I only know Alice In Wonderland, which I didn't understand, and Through The Looking Glass, which I enjoyed for the trippiness, but that was like 10 years ago 3. Yes! It's kind of stupid hard though, so I'm not going to grad school for it (at least soon). If I were to have a focus, it'd probably be in combinatorics 4. Best: I'm good at not getting lynched as town and can employ creative methods of deception as town Worst: pretty much my entire scum game, reading and comprehending moderate-to-large amounts of text, explaining things 5. Neither of them feel like what I think of as a mafia game, where the action happens in the main thread with town scumhunting through discussion and scum trying to fit in. I do remember back in the day actively trying to make the town leader games less fun for everyone, though. I didn't really do anything special for my birthday. I changed my approach to scumhunting because it was just taking too much time. I think I can still scumhunt okay without reading people too in-depth, and it's definitely helped me stop tunneling. But then again, I don't feel like I can push lynches as hard anymore. I started by playing a series of games on another forum which were really fun (and pretty similar to the larges here). I stuck around because I like trying to read people. I paused cause school yo I liked AM/PM for all the plot twists that happened. I've also forgotten about a lot of games so idk really. In general, I don't have as much of a sample size as I'd like, but I think I have the most trouble differentiating between town and scum Elie. After school, I'm going to be doing software engineering at Facebook. no reason Do you actually own any definitive weapons? Android, iPhone or Other? Why don't you host games? A couple sharp rocks, but that's about it Android I'm too lazy to come up with a setup, balance it, write role pms, and write flavor. Multifaction games are actually pretty interesting, but I have no idea what to do in one of them. I get the feeling deciding a winner is kind of arbitrary. They don't really make sense as NOC games, so probably OC. My strategy would definitely be to flake and sub out like D2 or something. EIMMs are more fun the faster you play them. Also people try too hard, but that's not even really a bad thing. I'd prefer games with no aliases, but they're not really that bad. My strategy would be (and always has been) to talk to whoever's in IRC, lie about everything, then promptly disappear and shoot randomly until I die. It hasn't worked yet, but one day it will. I really like the current players and where the SF metagame has come, so most of the people are from now, and my memory of way back when is foggy anyway and populated by OC games.
