Canonically, I think she marries someone else, actually. As for pairings, it's a little complicated, but love points won't be gained (aside from convos, which you should check for each time you sieze a castle) after turn 50. (The gains are similar to support points in GBA games. There's also the jealousy system... But yes, fufill Azel's lifelong dream! If I just take out everyone on the left, will anyone even be able to go that castle? I see no reason not to bring Arden with me. If someone invades the castle, it's game over. That, and Arden is not worth investing in, so you might as well have him guard.

That said, the castle is rarely in danger, and even when it is, there's not one but two staves that warp units back to the base castle or to any castle including the base. I'd say take him along, why the heck not.
null
In a game where mov is king, there's no reason to invest in Arden, unless you like him that much.

That being said, if you just split up to the south and west, there is little danger for this to actually happen here. Starting next map you get some nice tools like the Return and the Warp staff, which allow you to send someone back to the main castle in a pinch. So there is never really any reason to leave someone on guard duty.
Spara
But Arden is a meme, and memes are fun! Just look at Derrick! Too bad he can't cross Shoal 😞

Sooks
I know why I don’t want the castle captured, but I don’t see how it’s in any risk at all of being captured here, is all. 5 minutes ago, Benice said: Canonically, I think she marries someone else, actually. Saint Rubenio
Thank you, Oifey, for making Tristan marginally less terrible. Also, there's a quip at Seliph's multiple name translations in Bramsel's dialogue. I wonder if that's an addition by Project Naga. Either way, it's funny, so I like it. 2 minutes ago, twilitfalchion said: I also hate using armor knights, so I'm biased to say the least. You should try Ironmanning. You'll learn to appreciate defense. ...Okay, no, knights are bad in almost every game - but still. Big armor is cool!

Spara
Just now, Sooks said: Canon... pairings..? How do I check for convos? There aren't really any "canon" pairings in FE4 standalone apart from the predetermined once, people often just say "canon pairings" to refer to the ones in the Oosawa manga. Also, units have a little "talk" thing on the second page of the stat screen, and there's a page for that on the unit list, too.
BrightBow
Probably just to show you that you can put people onto a castle rather then just entering it, I'd imagine.

The "talk" section is a few lines below the Leadership Stars. Always make sure to check for Talks after conquering a castle. Also, pressing A sends you to the Holy Blood screen, if you are curious. I saw, everyone wants to talk to Sigurd. But I think he ends up with a character called Deirdre, right? I mean, I’m still gonna have them talk. That’s why he’s going to the axe knight and mage who’s names I forgot. 3 minutes ago, Spara said: There aren't really any "canon" pairings in FE4 standalone apart from the predetermined once, people often just say "canon pairings" to refer to the ones in the Oosawa manga.
