Well, that’s the prologue done. That was fun. Should I be investing in Sigurd? I sort of gave him half the map.

The Sigurd Experience:tm:

You’ll save yourself frustration by using the Sigurd button for most problems. He’s not invincible, but he can be thrown at groups of enemies with little issue.

...That was indeed my thought process. In my defense, I didn’t have many units and the enemy was closely packed in open terrain at the end.

You don’t need defense when you can use swords and 90% of the enemy is using an axe 😉

Yep, that’s the usual strategy.

If you couldn’t already tell, swords are easily the best weapon type in the game. FE4 introduced the weapon triangle, a very, very unbalanced version of it. Sigurd, in addition to his beastly stats, benefits from that.

It's not so much the triangle being unbalanced as the weapons.

Even though Sigurd's the best and there are units who are clear-cut better, use whoever the heck you want.

This as well. I quite enjoyed using Finn and his brave lance to tear through enemies.

I tried this and Sigurd almost died on turn 1 of Genealogy.

After that I resorted to using a real man like Arden.

If only Arden could reclass...

Good. Finn is a good boy.

Poor Sylvia. She and Alec never continued their courtship due to the poor performance and planning of their tactician.

You talking about me? In my case, they were one of two couples to not die a horrible death in the Yied desert!

I mean I used everyone, but he was one of the ones I used the most.

Finn is legit, no-joke, memes-aside, canonically motherfucking badass. Really great character. Use him.

No, I meant my run. I was planning on them getting together. But I, eh *cough* let Sylvia meet her untimely demise.

Oh, and this is a legit bop. One of my favorite map/army themes.

Ugh, now I want to play FE4. Why?

Oof... Well, on the bright side, you got the better characters in gen 2: chubby Sigurd and black-haired dancer.

Talk about games like this often makes people who already liked them want to play them again.

It doesn't work for me and Yakuza

Welp, I may as well join the crusade as well.

Thing is, I dropped FE4 because I didn't like it. XD

Oh well. Maybe sometime soon.

Oh, and obligatory one-of-the-best map themes of all time.

You want to stand there and watch people sleep? Okay then, Shrimpy.

I'd like to be the sleeping person, but you know what? Sure, your suggestion works, too xD

Just let me be on a sunny beach again xD

Hahahah... Jokes aside, that image brings me memories. That was my favorite stage in Galaxy 2. Such a pleasant little place, it is.

RD battle saves are superior, IMO, but FE4 battle saves are a surprisingly bit of accessibility in what is an otherwise dated game.

FE4 needed those saves because of how long each chapter is but yeah.
