Xenoblade in general has this thing where the designs are so bloated with random pieces of equipment, armor and gear all over the character's body without much rhyme or reason. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't mean this as a serious criticism. It's just something that I personally don't enjoy. When it comes to character designs, I generally find that less is more. Three Houses has everyone wear specialized armor per class by default in battle. Unless you don’t like anything that isn’t pants in general, which... Going by that, I think the character designs of Xenogears and Xenosaga would be more up your alley. Look those up to see if you agree.
