Mostly because the random encounters will net me EXP faster even if I don't encounter as many Metal King Slimes. Speaking of, my last battle of the day was against two. One fled... but the other fell. Nice. My Killing Machine is at 195 Strength. I think one more level and I can go fight Estark and see how it goes. Though that's for next time. DragonFlames Posted August 14, 2020 Share Posted August 14, 2020 (edited) So, during a creative break, I decided to start reading Fate/type Redline or - as I like to call it - Fate/Stay Night Weeb Edition, now with more time travel. There are only a few chapters out at the moment, so I'm not too sure what to make of it yet, but I do like the premise, as well as the main characters. Though I can't help but notice that many of the main character templates as well as some story beats were taken from Fate/Stay Night, i.e. Nobunaga is basically a female Gilgamesh, complete with her own version of the Gate of Babylon that was strong enough to gun down an entire fleet of (probably) US bombers (have I mentioned this manga takes place during WW2?), and Okita is a much more badass Artoria. Spoiler Same. I could play as Velvet, Eleanor, Eizen, and maybe Magilou, but that was already stretching it. XD Rokubro and the kid weren't exactly my strong suit. Oh yeah, definitely. One thing I wasn't really a fan of in older Tales games was that if an opponent activated their Mystic Arte, there wasn't much you could do against it. Granted, they never killed you, only left you at 1HP, but that was usually a game over, anyway. Eleanor was fun as she was similiar to velvet when playing physical but not op and had access to Magic. Especially her late Magics were wew boy. She also had Lostfon Drive.
