I have completed every sidequest in Future Connected. The fact that there are two "final" sidequests similar to Torna puts the sidequesting experience in Future Connected above the main game for me.

Anyway, i'll be starting on Tales of Berseria soon.

@Shrimperor if i have to see this, so do you

Now you cannot unsee it.

In other news, @Lightchao42 dunno if you saw this but the director of Godzilla: King of the Monsters has revealed some storyboards for an after-credits scene that was never filmed

Spoiler

(I'd post the images directly but it seems i can't do that without making an Instagram account. Thankfully, the image slides still work).

Really would've loved to see this and i don't think it needed to replace the one with the severed Ghidorah head (since that one is definitly gonna factor into Godzilla vs Kong, especially if those MechaGodzilla leaks are real). After all, MCU movies have two after-credits scenes all the time. But hopefully this scrapped concept makes it's way into Godzilla vs Kong.

I skimmed over this entire video and found zero trace of Magical Alisa. I even looked it up and the closest thing i could find was the non-canon spin-off manga.

Are you sure it was in Cold Steel 1?

Lastly, I cannot put up with any game that demands daily play, it's burdensome and doesn't suit me one bit. Someone who doesn't finish games normally prefers an ending for the sake of maybe I'll wrap it up eventually.

This. I played FEH for a while but it just got to repetitive playing it every day. Doesn't help that there's barely anything worth doing in it.

I cant stand games that want you to play daily. It's one of the reasons why i don't like Animal Crossing games.

Berseria's cast is the best in the franchise.

Neat.

Well, Xenoblade Chronicles DE is now on the way. I hope I enjoy it as much as others have. The crazy amounts of customization sound really appealing. Any tips for a newbie from people experienced with the game?

Most EXP is gained from sidequests (this is a thing only in Xenoblade 1, the other games in the series give you more EXP through combat) so you want to do those at regular intervals. Be sure to turn on Expert Mode. Despite the name, it actually makes the game easier as it stockpiles the EXP you get from sidequests and exploration, allowing you to use said EXP at a later point and shoot up a few levels if you need to. You can also use the same system to delevel yourself if you felt you got too overpowered.

You can cheese buy cosemetics without spending money. Save before entering a shop, buy the equipment that your money allows and then reload. You get to keep the equipment as cosemetics but obviously you would need to actually buy the equipment if you want to use it as armor.

Actually avoid killing Unique Monsters until you have all seven party members. If it's part of a sidequest, then it's fine but since UMs only give an Affinity Coin the first time you kill them, certain party members can miss out on them. You need Affinity Coins for the Skill Links.

Bench Sharla the moment you're able to. Don't let the fact that she's a healer fool you, she is the worst character in the game gameplay-wise and actively holds you back. The only time she's good is during the portion of the game where you can't bench her, which isn't long. Riki is a way better healer than Sharla ever is anyway.

  • In general, healing isn't as important in Xenoblade compared to other JRPGs. Especially in Xenoblade X and 2 (X doesn't even have healing Arts lmao).

Thanks for the advice. Can I just use specific party members if I want to even if the party has less than three members? I've heard that Shulk, Dunban, and Riki is a pretty optimal team, but I don't think the last two are recruited until later in the game.

The sequel will use country music instead of hip-hop. They are currently busy trying to get *Wikipedia's* Kip Moore, Corey Smith, and Cross Canadian Ragweed (apparently those are country musicians) on board.

So it is... *shudder*

Also, that brown haired girl looks like female Hakuno, but shorter, so I'm not traumatized by that picture. Thank goodness.

I just dont like their design choices. (Who does?) Weapon power is inflated to the heavens, along with stats and skills. Enemy density is crazy. Dumb design choices like fake doors that waste keys.

A game with an assload of questionable design choices gets a hack that - surprise, surprise - also has an assload of bad design choices. Why in the name of Arceus am I not surprised?

It's more about the "feud" between twilitfalchion and Wraith.

Yes, where will work best for you? Don't worry about the mess, the hellfire rounds will immolate you after they explode in your body.

No. You cannot have less than three party members and the only times you'll have less than three is if the story mandates it.

This is only a thing in Xenoblade 1, the other Xenoblade games let you solo if you want.

A Xenoblade game with a full country OST would actually be the worst timeline tbh.

I've heard about it, but I haven't seen those storyboards before. The credits already indicate that Mothra had an egg offscreen, but how necessary this scene was depends on if she will be in GvK (though I would like her to be, maybe she can escort the humans through Hollow Earth which is apparently be explored). The King Ghidorah scene was probably included so he could potentially come back in a future film.

I think this is wrong. New party members will join with the affinity coins obtained from previously defeated UMs, so they can't lose out on affinity coins if you defeat them early.

Look twilitfalchion, *blows smoke out of his nose and mouth* you joke about heresy, you get brutally shot and killed in an explosion of fire and shrapnel. Emperor_Siegfried is next. I've been too soft lately and now have to make up for it. *Puffs cigarette* Stress has given me another vice. *Sighs* Why is this so hard to understand?

I wasn't talking about Magical Alisa, but just the game.

I mentioned in my original post that best Erebonian girl is playable in Tokyo Xanadu which is suppossed to be Alisa naturally.

Also let the dead people rest in peace, please!

Was Melia's AI improved in the Definitive Edition, or does it still suck?
