  1. Quoting people is dumb Goddamnit, I fell for it. xD
  2. Doesn't know how to say "good morning" in German.
  3. Voting for Awakening's Cynthia because f*** Pokémon And also because I actually like the Awakening version. She's adorable.
  4. Gerne doch! ^^ --- Welp, heard it here first, folks! xD Also, I gotta give a shoutout to Jurota Kosugi's performance in this game. He is the voice of both Sterkenburg, a kindhearted, albeit very serious knight, and Nobunaga Oda, a rather eccentric individual fancying himself a Demon King. And he nails both of these characters perfectly. You can tell it's the same guy because of the way his voice sounds, but the way he talks as each character is very different. Mad props! Also, also This theme is great. It says Orochi 2, but this is also the Honnoji Temple theme for 3.
  5. Glad you're doing better! ^^ --- Been replaying Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate. Game's a lot more fun than I remember, to be honest. Might be because now I actually know all the characters; when I played the game for the first time, I had literally zero clue who any of these people were. I do still have some problems with it, but all in all, it's pretty good. Also, I'm extremely happy, because this happened: With that, my power trio is complete! This is his appearance in Atelier Meruru, and his outfits from Rorona and Totori are available, too. Very nice! Also very nice: his Musou attack, is a shortened version of his Special from Atelier Meruru. Somehow less epic in a Musou game... the genre that is known to make over the top things even more over the top. For shame, WO3U. For shame. The girl next to him in that screenshot up above is the second member of my team. Sun Shangxiang, Sterkenburg "Sterk" Sterky Steckel Strudel Storker-bargen Cranach (yes, I'm bringing that one back), and Nobunaga Oda are currently the trio I'm using, though the third person varies between Nobunaga Oda, Kunoichi, Pang De, and Sun Quan, because of course, although Sun Quan's moveset in this game is pretty meh, in all honesty. Good morning, Wraith! And also to everyone else!
  6. Made a statement that is both correct and incorrect. As in, she's one of my favorite characters ever, but I call her my waifu only ironically. I'm never serious when I say that.
  7. Peri is a cheap knockoff of Genocide Jill "Check out murderweapons.com/hammertime for more info!" - one of the best lines in all of Danganronpa Also, hello everyone!
  8. It is. RD Ike's speed is... not great. That latter part might be true, but I don't know about the first... Nah, I'm joking. I do like you guys! ^^ Np, np! ^^ Possibly! His bases don't leave much wiggle room for too many variations. Also, keep him away from mages in Part 4. Mages are the bane of his existence.
  9. I don't think it is, no. But it's been a while, so I'm not too sure about it. Anyway, I'll give my vote to the Tales version out of my affection for that series.
  10. ... I swear, I once had Ike with 100% exactly those stats. Huh. Also, @Shrimperor: Congratulations on getting your degree! Me. Good old robo-angel! xD Seeing Metatron in SMTIV for the first time threw me off hard. Clearly someone took the "meta(l)" and "tron" a little too literally. That is true, though after a while, all rulers will offer you to take over for them anyway. You even get a neat little cutscene when that happens. I once had Sun Jian entrust his role to me... and then, just one in-game month later, Sun Ce rebelled against me. Methinks that wasn't a coincidence. I usually try to make them look like they could be actual playable characters within the series (some joke stuff notwithstanding). Even my "original" characters all have Chinese names to make them fit in better (unless I recreate someone from a different game series). But really, like you said, the is no "right" way to do things. Gotta balance out my garbage taste in nearly everything else somehow. xD
  11. Granted. No corruption, because loneliness is painful. I wish I didn't engage in Fates bashing again yesterday.
  12. Because it isn't green What is small, green, and triangular?
  13. Banned because hello!~ It's not a game I'm not a robot AI challenging you I'm not a phantom I'm in your face and I'm here to see it through Right before your eyes Watch us multiply Come to claim our rights- it's time As our power grows Tryin' to stop us shows (You) Might as well go try'n stop time So you know that we're out there Swatting lies in the making Can't move fast without breaking Can't hold on or life won't change And our voices ring out, yeah Took the mask off to feel free Fought it out in the debris Now we know that life will change Ain't it a shame I'm not a figment of your ailing old mind I'm just as real as I'm just as dangerous As you, so know you'll find A taste of your meds Fire in every breath Fire inside your head, your heart And as your crippled brain Tries to fight in vain Your empire will fall apart And you'll know we were out there Swatted lies in the making Your empire for the taking Can't hold on or life won't change And our voices rang out, here Took the mask off to feel free Fought it out in the debris Now we know that life will change
  14. Also, good morning everyone! Clash on the Big Bridge, eh? That boss fight was... something in FFXII. The music was flippin' amazing, though! I did enjoy FFXII's soundtrack in general. That's perhaps not exactly the most popular opinion, but I liked how non-intrusive it was. It was nice background ambience that fit the mood of areas, scenes, as well as boss battles, pretty damn well.
  15. Ah, that's a bit of a shame, since the sandbox-y nature of 8 Empires in particular is pretty fun, even if it does get repetitive after a while, admittedly (the definite highlight is the character creation tool. Playing around with that is a lot of fun). I did hear 7 Empires was marginally better due to having multiple possible endings (8E only has one, which is a shame) and a hub you can actually walk around in, but I have no access to that game, as my PS3 isn't exactly in working condition. Also, 7 Empires would probably lack many of the movesets I have come to greatly love in 8 and 8 Empires (for example, Jiang Wei's Dual-Headed Trident, Xiao Qiao's Dual Fans, Sun Quan's Flame Blade, whatever Sima Shi's oversized Rapier is, and Cao Cao's General's Sword). Fire Emblem Warriors Empires would be amazing, I agree! XD That reminds me of that one playthrough I did where my character joined forces with Ou Xing, that one guy who isn't in Dynasty Warriors 8 XL at all, and who only exists for a single paragraph in the RoTK novel. All it says about him is that he staged a rebellion in Changsha that Sun Jian put down with no effort whatsoever, and that's it. That's all the screentime he's worth (why they made him of all people one of the rulers in the historical scenarios that cover the time of the Yellow Turban Rebellion in 8E is beyond me, but hey. Memes). Granted, he might've been a bigger deal in history, but... the game doesn't mention that, not even in the officer bios in the in-game encyclopedia. He recruited way more people than our income could handle (recruiting other officers reduces the money you earn per month, and it can go into the negatives, too... which happened), and he regularly ordered invasions on other rulers that were far beyond our strength, so we suffered more losses than needed. Needless to say, I ended up rebelling and usurping him, and I took at least two in game years after that to fix the broken mess he made. Now, the thing in DW8E is, you have the option to replace generic, and even playable officers with your created characters (although replacing certain ones will lock you out of some event battles in the historical scenarios, because the generics have lines and roles in those (such as Hua Xiong at the Batlle of Hulao Gate)). And this allows for all kinds of shenanigans. From genderflipping to making their appearances horrendously and hilariously ridiculous, it's all down to how seriously you want to take the game, and to how creative you want to be. Of course, I only replace the generics, but the option is there to make, for example Liu Shan a badass, muscled berserker, or Lu Bu into a cute little girl with a really squeaky voice (that will still have his theme song playing in the background when you get near her if you put his Way of Life, "Flying General", on the replacement). And you can imagine what I did after that playthrough: I made Ou Xing's replacement as hilarious and pathetic-looking as I could, and gave him the weakest statline, fittingly titled "Simpleton".
