Luckily (or maybe not) you've had a relatively easy schedule so far in the Premier League, although December looks to be a killer with Liverpool, Juventus, Tottenham, Man U and Chelsea.

OC or NOC? This might be covered in the first question I guess, but as one of the players who does have extensive OC experience, why don't you host OC games? Your games generally have more out-there mechanics; how do you think of them?

Well, efficiency is a style of playing. It's perfectly okay to say 'I'm going to use these weaker characters and try to play as fast I can". You're not going to complete the game in as few turns as if you used better characters but you're still playing efficiently.

I mean... pokemon has never been the type of game where it takes a lot of hits to kill things? Not that that means it shouldn't be done, but if the game was changed so that all the pokemon got an HP boost, a lot of other things would have to be changed as well. Leftovers healing 1/16th of your HP suddenly becomes a lot better when your pokemon is getting 6HKOd as opposed to 3HKOd. Recovery moves would have to be nerfed or anything with one would never be beaten... Items like Life Orb become mostly useless because the recoil wouldn't be worth it anymore. The list goes on. There are probably changes that can be made to the pokemon system as a whole but I don't necessarily think this would be a good one, and I don't think that your experience with the battle against your brother is indicative at all of how most battles go. And besides I'm pretty sure doubling the HP of all pokemon would have had absolutely no effect on how that battle against your brother turned out. Your Greninja would maybe have died of LO recoil but Blaziken finished the last two off anyways.

Well you used a pokemon banned to ubers + a pokemon that's probably getting banned soon against a bunch of pokemon that are mostly not very good and for whom you had a super effective move against in each case so it's really not very surprising?

Vigarde isn't even that bad; in a void he's just a general on a throne. A decently trained Ephraim with a healer backup has no problems with him. IIRC he can 2RKO him at ~level 13? It's the culmination of the chapter as a whole that makes it difficult if you're playing efficiently, because of the Sleep staves and the Berserk staves and having to recruit Rennac and then you're taking him on with Seth or something and his 21 defence + throne gets ridiculous. FFO Lloyd is honestly more difficult IMO since he rushes at you but it's kind of the opposite situation as Vigarde. Since the map is so short (especially if you're not recruiting Wallace) it's not that hard to just reset until the RNs work out.

After you beat the E4, there's a postgame story called the Delta Episode. You catch Rayquaza as part of this postgame. Looker has a small cameo appearance in the Battle Resort, which is after the Delta Episode, where he gives you Audinite. I don't think there are any other cameo characters but I might be wrong. When you face the E4 after the Delta episode, they'll have stronger teams that include Mega pokemon. There aren't any other trainers that have it though as far as I know. Speaking of Looker did anyone else find his appearance interesting? The R/S timeline is supposed to be way earlier than any of his other appearances so it's kind of weird that he has a cutscene and all and a MYSTERY with him losing his memory and it just ends up being him giving you Audinite when you find the house he went to. He's kind of a recurring supporting character at this point so maybe GF is just establishing some kind of backstory to him but idk.

Regice needs to be nicknamed; whether or not Registeel and Regirock are nicknamed has no effect. So you can go ahead and name them. Juan isn't in ORAS, and neither is Scott. Off the top of my head I can't remember any other characters who are in Emerald and not Ruby/Sapphire as well. There are people in the Battle Resort who speak about a place called the Battle Frontier being built, which has led to speculation that it will be added as DLC. As of right now, however, the Battle Frontier doesn't exist and Nintendo hasn't officially said they're going to add it either.

If Thany talks to Tate and turns her into an NPC does she still join at the end of the map? Or are you required to talk to NPC!Tate with Klein to turn her into a PC?
