    Whelp, if there's one thing I gotta hand to this gauntlet, it's that I haven't felt this tense since Chrom vs. Ephraim in the first gauntlet.

    The main difference is that this kind of tension is not the good kind of tension.

    Honestly I was mostly in this gauntlet for the feathers, but if Gaius beats Leo, I will join the victor of Corrin vs. Robin just so I can curbstomp him.

    inb4 Gaius actually manages to win the gauntlet somehow.

    It's it's kind of funny, it's the second gauntlet with the modified multiplier but it seems a lot more meaningful than the first. We already had one upset with the least popular winning in the first round, and we might have both semi matches end with an upset as well. Honestly, I wonder how people who joined Team Gaius only for feathers and expected to lose feel.

    Whelp. Looks like everyone on Team Leo is sharing codes. Might as well join in. Also I only have like 2 people frineded on SF anyways and that might not be a good idea

    Also if anyone wants a different lead, feel free to ask. Xander might be inconvenient for quests if you're running S!Leo every match.

     

    Edit: Also, what's the gameplan for Team Leo? I was splurging earlier but if no one else is, there doesn't seem to be a point. We either need to postpone or accelerate Gaius' future bonus if we want hopes if continuing to the next round.

    Just letting you know because I think it's kinda funny, Oboro actually has a skill that boosts her damage output against Nohrians because she's one of the few especially racist Hoshidans in the game.

    I feel like you underestimate the power of sex appeal. Robin and Corrin have huge fanbases, and with their very... interesting art, a lot might join their side just because they look hot.

    Oh, really? Then that might be an interesting match. In fact, this might be the most interesting gauntlet since the first considering most matchups seem pretty fair.

    I'm fine with any lead really, but if one of you guys is keeping Leo as a lead, I'll probably change to Xander with his Hone Cavalry. He's also decked with QR, Bonfire, and Swap so hopefully he's alright with you guys. :/

    Wow, Tiki's doing better than expected and Corrin is doing worse. Then again, this is Serenes, and the only thing more hated than the story of Fates is Corrin himself/herself.

    Also can Team Leo peeps send me their friend ID's? I realized I never actually used any units from my fellow Serenes members in any gauntlet so far.

    Next TT is also Echoes. Clive is reward. Bonus units get buffs when deployed and get some other bonuses too. First 2 or 3 rounds every day get you point bonuses. New difficulty added with level ~10 heroes

    New summer banner with Xander, Leo, Elise, Corrin. New Gauntlet with all eight summer units too.

    Arena is modified with new mode Arena Assault. Think Squad Assault, but in the arena. You are also ranked there, get a new collectible (purpose not yet revealed), and can bring 3 new items to help you.

    We get a pokedex.

    Starting August 7th, 3* and 4* summoning rates switched, first summon is free.

    Sixth Anniversay + another Starter Help = 60 free log-in orbs and a bunch of other free maps.

    Another Hero Fest, but the focus heroes are a mystery.

     

    There's probably some stuff I'm missing but I'm on mobile and this is a pain. These are some of the biggest points though.

    Calling it now, boots will be SSS-tier item on Arena Assualt and you would be a fool to not bring them along. They will also make clears with horse and flier emblem infinitely easier. 

    But anyways, Valter coming is extremely hype! He's a great villain, his Luna represents his class's Pierce effect, and it's acknowledgement that lance-wyverns exist! Hopefully that hints at more SS characters done the line.

    Also hopefully I can actually pull a Fae with the switched 3* and 4* rates. I want adorable chicken dragon, dammit.

    Honestly, I'm going with Leo this time (finally). He was my second choice in the first gauntlet and I still find it hilarious that now he's been in 3 gauntlets along with Elise. Besides, he's one of my favorites, so why not? :/

    Also I'm pretty happy that there's no extremely clear winner this time. Tiki, Robin, and Corrin are all popular. However, if I was forced to bet on someone, it would be Corrin.

    All my games had either an Ike, Chrom, or Lucina, and I mixed out my friends list to compensate for me not having any mages.

    All my matches pretty much had a Ryoma or Lucina, friend ally or not, for me which was really annoying for the quests. At least the Ryoma I got the most had Reposition, made cheesing some tough battles a lot easier.

    I really should friend people on SF when a Gauntlet comes around.
