I read a good theory somewhere that Victor's erratic behavior and gaunt appearance was because he was suffering from lead poisoning, which is something I personally like to believe for the sake of more complex character alignments.

The name is familiar to me but I didn't know anything about it as a series...It sounds amazing. -
What returning features would you like to see in the next fe?

An idea for a character I had awhile back was an enemy manakete who joins your army late game if you have a low enough turn count or playtime throughout the game, the idea being he swaps to the winning side being impressed with your ability as a commander. He then continues acting like a complete monster and even confirms he's eaten humans for fun. But you keep him around for because you need all the help you can get. His ending then has him being executed for war crimes. -

Haha. Just imaging Ike finding the Black Knight asleep on the battlefield and attacking him in a blood fueled rage only for it to have absolutely no effect. -

1.Greatest achievement in life thus far? 2.Something you think is really good but I likely have never heard of? 3.Do you like the sound of your own voice? 4.Furthest you've ever been from home? 5.A Mega Pokemon you'd like to see? -
Really, parents in general get the short end of the stick when it comes to our playable characters. The mother is lucky if she's mentioned at all but the father usually isn't much better, dying before they've had more than a handful of dialogue (if not before the story like in Marth/Lyn/Leif/Chrom's case). The only one they really tried to develop before offing him was Greil. Even Eliwood, the one father character who actually manages to survive till the end of the game and became a lord in the next barely get's any screen time in FE6.

There's a pegasus knight in the chapter before Xavier's that you need a sleep stave (or sword to recruit). I know because in my one Thracia playthrough so far I didn't have one :/ -

How'd you get Seliph in chapter 5? -
So long as they don't pair it with desert maps...

We got quite a few DLC classes in Fates compared to Awakening. And given that it's a pretty profitable endeavour for the level of work involved, we'll likely be seeing more DLC classes in future games. So what DLC classes would you like to see? Both noteworthy classes from the series or new classes that might work as something separate from the standard system. Personally I'd like to see Master Knight return as something to mess around with. I'd also like if they kept on Corrin's class (probably rename it to Were Dragon or something) class. Sure it'd probably break the plot if everyone could turn into dragons but...turning into dragons is cool.

Actually, if my castle is remaining then I would love to see the smithy in there being able to reforge weapons like in Holy War. Best of both worlds really, you still got all that careful resource management but never actually permanently lose your goodies. -

Would be pretty good on the Lord or Avatar. -
Emmet continued to heal the horseman. The man was reckless but his charges were paying off. It was best to go the extra mile to ensure he was fighting at 100%. Emmet to (17,14), use heal on Nelon.

Who do you think is the best villain in the series?
Jotari replied to MagicIsOP's topic in Fire Emblem Debates
Note, I said Radiant Dawn, the sequel game which features another tier of promotion. In that game Ashera does indeed beat out the Black Knight in stats (though if he had access to Luna...) but she's a god so doesn't fulfill the human criteria. Yeah, I've played both paths and I'm aware of the different characterisation, but I still feel Lyon's as a villain appears pretty quickly and doesn't have enough time to truly make an impact for me. As I said though, the issue probably comes more down to Sacred Stones being too short a plot than anything specifically about the writing regarding Lyon. -
If they could jump over my house I'd call them super human regardless how long they could live for.

I've always said there should be two versions of the Olympics. One that's drug free and one that's not. Just think of the super humans we could build if drugged competition was legal!

Who do you think is the best villain in the series?
Jotari replied to MagicIsOP's topic in Fire Emblem Debates
Black Knight in Radiant Dawn matches or beats Ashnard in every stat except resistance where he trails behind by 1 point. Even after going Berserk Ashnard is still slightly slower and only really wins in strength, magic and HP. Of course the mere fact that it's a three tier system and different games have different damage metrics means comparing stats is a pretty pointless job to begin with. Rudolf is probably one of the most dangerous units in the entire series (from what I hear) and his strength is only 27. -
Haha. Chapter 3. I would have thought that would be something the game saves until much later when you actually start encountering manaketes.

I've also heard sometimes it'll pit you against Manaketes when it won't let you use manaketes yourself. Which I find to be hilarious unfair. Especially imagining it from an in universe perspective.

I think you're misinterpreting the strategy I'm talking about. The stance in universe is that you need a weapon to defend something which isn't true to gameplay.
