  1. Absolutely. It would be nice to be able to reread them if I feel like it.
  2. Grand Hero Bridal (Phina): https://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=63168421
  3. Probably not during the War of Heroes, but afterwards? Once the two continents stabilized it's likely they established some sort of communications.
  4. Ah yes, the opening of Chapter 20... not the most interesting map but it fits better than the heavily forested part by the castle. The openness worries me however, considering the Sable Order is cavalry heavy...
  5. BUFF ALL THE TERRAIN AVOID CONTRIBUTIONS BY 20, IT'S BULLSHIT THAT MY UNITS ARE GETTING HIT AT SUB-30 HIT RATES.
  6. I disagree. It makes staff users very effective at inflicting status, be it by tormenting foes with Gravity+Draw Back/Reposition or using Panic to bust fully buffed units.
  7. Now that I've completed the current patch I can provide a bit more feedback: First off, let me say it's great that you're keeping on top of the bug reports that come in. This game has had quite a few. In fact: -Katarina disappeared from my party after chapter 18. Might be due to FE7 vanilla events? -Male Strategist does not have Staff access despite the female having them; I know this because of the duplicate genderbent tactician. -Two more enemies with unusable weapons in chapter 16, this time two pegasi (one has a steel sword, the other a steel bow) -There's also a random level 1 knight in chapter 18, despite everyone else being level 20. I like the new sections of the game, the terrain of the maps is pretty unique across that stretch. I also like the changes made to existing maps; chapters 7 and 8 are a lot less tedious (and in the latter case, more challenging) due to the lack of a choke point in the middle. The extra gaiden is also nice so that Celia doesn't appear out of nowhere. The story is nothing spectacular, but it has its moments and I enjoy the main characters. Very curious to see what Jormund has in mind. Still, there are a few typos so you'll want to take another look at the script. Now then, the units. I promoted most of them around the 16-19 range.
  8. FE6 remake confirmed! I know I jest but with Nintendo looking at these figures it could sway the next remake decision further towards Binding Blade.
  9. Tier 16, going up to 17 next week where I will probably remain in limbo until I drastically improve my team. I like pushing myself to see how well I can do, but my playing on a budget and the slow rate at which feathers accumulate means I can only build so quickly...
  10. Wayland's weapon rank drops to D+some when I promote him.
  11. I can think of one good reason for map shops: regional or shop specialties. Giving map shops a one-copy bargain or slightly better weaponry than the base shop would make them a more worthwhile detour. Arenas have less merit and if they return it might be a good idea to have the manager get sick of you winning and ban you after a certain number of matches.
  12. Meh. They could do something like that, but the two games are a lot less connected than Mystery of the Emblem proper, the Tellius duo and Genealogy's two generations. I agree with you in that it would be awfully long to play as a single experience, and Blazing Blade vanilla already suffers from replay padding to unlock HHM (let's pray they don't bring that back). That being said, you'd almost certainly be able to start from FE6 without playing 7, at least after your first time through. Overall I'd prefer a Mystery or Genealogy Echoes use the two-book/generation system than shoehorn it into Elibe. It could work, and it would be nice to get two games for the price of one, but I don't see it enriching the saga as much as people believe.
  13. No, they've been changed. I've been keeping a Pastebin with the growths and I re-did it after looking at the new patch in Nightmare. I'm iffy about posting it without TMR's permission though.
  14. It was a fun way to spend the morning stamina. I rotated my team out for the challenges to capitalize on team weaknesses; ironically the first one gave me the most trouble because I was stubbornly using an arena team that wasn't suited to dealing with two buffed ranged units at once.
  15. Zephiel is a football: https://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=63037902
  16. I think the answer is "what in the world am I witnessing," because that's the first thing I thought...
  17. People shit on it for having an awful lord in terms of gameplay (valid), a horrid RNG (it's influenced by other things), same-turn reinforcements (only a few are awful and there are worse elsewhere), and a cliche story (valid).
  18. Not done yet but I'd like to report before i forget: there are a few enemies with weapons they can't use (the cavs guarding the lower castle in 11) and the monk with a droppable Master Seal in 14 can't use his tome.
  19. http://nintendoeverything.com/fire-emblem-echoes-shadows-of-valentia-director-on-the-name-wants-to-remake-binding-blade-the-most/ Semi-confirmed. We have no guarantees of when the next remake will be, but if Nakanishi directs again and has anything to say about it then FE6 is likely next on the list.
  20. I was having the same patching troubles earlier, but the new patch gave me no problems. Good on you to iron that out so quickly. Currently at the revised Chapter 3 and I've noticed a few small changes. The prologue enemies are well calculated and the character recruitment talks so far can be done from turn 1. I'll have to see how these pan out in the grand scheme of things as I go further.
  21. Maybe he went to the unknown continent where Athena and Kamui are from... I also like that Delthea's ending replaces "single woman" with "ordinary woman" as it fits her new ending better.
  22. It's still a mystery~ inb4 he replaces Kris It's also never specified where he goes or even what direction, which begs a lot of questions.
  23. I would trade my hundreds of badges for either feathers or orbs in a heartbeat.
  24. This is the only aspect that can be considered buggy. Otherwise, I don't consider the RNG to be either; it's not responsible for your constant bad luck, it's the things that it works off of (weapon hit rates, the hit/avoid formulas, and terrain bonuses) that cause problems. Even then, I can't really call them a design flaw as much as I can call it poorly tested, or possibly even designed for an audience that appreciates unreliability.
