I've got good news everybody! I have Prims subbing in for Terrador, and tomorrow Randa can come in for Darros. In light of this, I'll extend the phase, so they can actually play.

Hi everybody I'm back.

Anyways I haven't read yet, but I'm gonna guess weapons has done something that seems scummy but I will somehow be convinced isn't scummy later. But in the mean time.

##Vote: Weapons

Give me like an hour to read and I'll see how long it'll take for me to make an actual post and serious vote.

Anyways since I saw this asked earlier just gonna pitch in my thoughts on when we should actually start looking for cult leader. With 15 players alive, up to 3 kills per night, 17 man game means 3-5 mafia one of whom is dead, at least independent factions, apparently two recruiting factions, on of which is town(?), we should probably focus on scum till day 4 I'd say. It's next to impossible for us to wipe out scum in that time, unless it's a 3 man team, that means there is a chance we can get some crossfire to actually hit the cult leader, let hunter focus on getting the sk, who for some reason hasn't killed anyone yet(?).

[spoiler=off topic but explaining the theory behind when we should start actually targeting cult leader]

So in my opinion you never start focusing on the cult leader until a few criteria have been met.

1. The cult should never be a focus until you can logically assume that they are no less than 1/3 of the remaining player base. This is done for a few reasons the most significant is actually it's own reason listed as #3. Anyways the fact of the matter is that the cult, usually, won't have a kill and as such are neutral for the majority of their existence. While they do have an anti-town win condition their win condition requires too much time to achieve to be a focal point early on in the game and they simply do not have the ability to effect the vote until 2 or 3 members have been recruited.

2. The cult should not be focused until at least half of the mafia is dead or is confirmed as mafia. This is due to the fact that cult can crumble win one, sometimes two, players death. Mafia however will always pose a threat as long as at least one member of mafia exist. This is because their power comes from the faction kill rather than through increased vote control. It is therefore easier for town to win if mafia is weakened or destroyed prior to searching for the cult leader.

3. Cult should not be focused until at least 3 players can realistically be expected to have been culted. Varies depending on game numbers, but 3 is a pretty safe number IMO. Not members of the cult but rather culted unless of course cult leader comes out and admits his role in which case you should probably lynch him. The general reason is that you have a better chance of delaying a cult victory and as such buying more time for yourself to find the cult leader if there are more members mixed into the player base, if you search for cult early your odds will be very poor and will most likely lynch town accelerating both mafias and cults win cons.

Anyways I should have like an actual post done in like 30 minutes.

Also marths role is kinda op and i want lynch him for having it, but that would be stupid as fuck. What I wanna know is do people actually believe that all that would be a town role, or would it be itp or whatever. With regards to his overall play this game I don't see why people think he's scum (at least I think some people do) he's kinda just playing the same way he usually does IMO so not to stressed over the slot ATM, just want hear people's thoughts on whether or not it's logical for town to have such a strong role.

Here's the ITP roles in a nutshell:

- Cult leader (unknown)

- Vigilante (Hunter Nightblood)

- Serial Killer (unknown)

So unless Marth is a serial killer/cult leader on top of voyeur and some other stuff, he's probably not ITP.

However, I'd like thoughts from EVERYTHING ELSE - Marth's role has already been discussed.

I'm going through ISO's now so I can see what I missed.

Anyways just looking at gaius's ISO I don't know why it just feels like most of his content has been shallow, ie doesn't have a whole lot of thought put into motivation or scum intent of the the rest of the player base. "Randa what the hell does that mean?" Basically what I'm trying to say is that the way I see it Gaius is looking at actions and stating the occurrence of the actions and his thoughts on the action but isn't looking at the actual driving force behind the actions, he doesn't seem to consider the difference between the benefits of the actions for each faction. Granted this can be said about a lot of players, sometimes myself included. It still seems kinda anti-town to me, and looking at iris's amazing content doesn't really help me form a solid opinion. Null / Leaning anti-town.

In light of Prims' having been spoiled, (and him not having been the only one), and nobody having voiced objections, I'll start subbing in dead players who express an interest, starting with Snike.

This'll make his ISO kind of confusing, but I won't mind. Chew Toy, if you do sub back in, can you put something in giant bold that says "sub starts here"?

Thoughts on Kirsche: so Kirsche is kinda what I expect out of him tbh. The aggressiveness is kinda annoying but also par for the course when playing with Kirsche. I do feel from experience that he is more likely to get frustrated as town then as scum. So take that for what it's worth. So based off meta I'm compelled to town read him. The problem I have though is his end day 1 just doesn't sit right with me in a traditional scum hunting sense. Something about the insistence on voting marth, and then the timing of the crysta vote just strikes me as weird, not necessarily anti-town just weird. Overall I feel he's probably town, maybe closer to null.

See this is why I hate subbing, I need a bit more of a complete picture for who was online at deadline, time between posts and responses, and general feel of posts at the time they were made to actually scum hunt well. C'est la vie. Just expect better then this once other people get online and I can actually get more solid reads.

"Once other people are online" this game is dead mate.

Mancer should probably claim as it looks like he's getting lynched. Still would rather lynch Gaius.

Blitz should get back and explain his questions.

HEIL HYDRA

Give me some time to reread as:

A) I just got home from work

B) I'm a little bummed about the writing competition

C) I just subbed in.

In the meantime, however, congratulations to executive kirsche for sagely suggesting that we continue our most sacred time honored tradition.

Rping will start next post.

OK I lied one more non-rp thing before I dive in:

If whoever killed me N1, whether that was the mafia, the serial killer, or HUNTER NIGHTBLOOD, VIGILANTE EXTRAORDINAIRE, could not do that (kill me) n2, I'd appreciate it. There's only so many slots I can sub into at a time, you see.

So anyway I really didn't hind anything else of note from iso's, that read (sorry clipsey not happening way to much for now). I really didn't get anything definitive out of that a lot of null a few leaning this way or that, but nothing that hasn't already been stated by everyone else. Anyways I'll be back in like two hours.

BREAKING NEWS

While the town is gathered, and are actively engaged in discussion, a gunshot breaks out. People flee the scene for safety in the immediate panic that follows, as no-one can be sure more shots will not be swiftly accompanying it, but after many tense minutes, everyone slowly creeps back to the town square.

Well, almost everyone. You see, one person had never left the square, due to having been unfortunate enough to be in the way of the bullet. At least it was a nice, clean shot, and he died instantly and without pain or suffering.

Marth has been killed. He was Isaac, the Town Ascetic Nurse Voyeur.

Day continues, his vote will be removed from votals when I get back from work and can update them.
