Saint Rubenio
Okay, this is starting to scare me. I can't beat this map. The enemies are super tough and there's a million of them. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if this is another hack that has dropped the ball right at the end... I don't want to think that, I've really enjoyed this hack. Maybe I should just call it a day.
Codename Shrimp
@Sooks This is my Brawler/Support Hybrid Estelle (which for some reason i am the only one who seems to run lmao) Pros: -Maximizing Strength to use her amazing crafts, including her S-craft which has the highest power in Sky -Can still use support arts and make full use of her Orbment that has no Orbment lock cons: -Makes her mega squishy, but defense is the least important stat in Trails anyway -No Offensive Arts basically You can replace Mind with HP. I probably didn't have a HP quartz remaining or something Edited July 16, 2021 by Shrimperor
Sooks
Alright let’s see how this goes. *brings Olivier off the bench* 490 ATS, oh boy… >does literally 0 damage with shadow spear On the bright side, he got like 6 levels from that one battle. 15 minutes ago, Shrimperor said: Maximum Attack + support but sacrificing defence That’s kinda what I’m trying to do, actually. 9 minutes ago, Shrimperor said: @Sooks This is similar to mine (other than the equipment I don’t have yet). She has a ruby gem, evade 4, water gem (HP 5), move 3, action 4, strike 2 and septium vein (which I will take off of her once I get enough time for her to get an onyx gem). Quote -Makes her mega squishy, but defense is the least important stat in Trails anyways. I see this everywhere. And don't forget to use STR buff at the beginning of the battle (but you should do that on any str based character anyway). Buffs last pretty long endgame sc 2 minutes ago, Sooks said: I see this everywhere. It has to do with the way Damage is calculated. It's almost impossible to reach the Def treshhold needed for the player for the stat to matter. Well, in Sky 3rd you can kinda do it. but Sky3rd is special

Not gonna lie, that's been bugging me ever since people first started talking about this series. You’re definitely not thinking of Sky move. But actually wait, I was wrong. I forgot I replaced move with strike, she doesn’t have move anymore. 4 minutes ago, Shrimperor said: Physical Damage = 3.4 * (STR + AbilityBonus) - 2.833 * DEF What’s ability bonus? Like turn bonus? Although there are a lot of games out there nowadays, so having higher standards isn't infeasible. To reiterate my scoring system again.: 10/10 is "You must get this game no matter what!", a masterpiece! Not really, as there will be games and genres people simply don't connect with. Personally, I don't think I'd ever give out a 10. I'm too conscious of issues and too dispassionate emotionally to be so subjectively bold. 9/10 is very highly recommended, a must-get if you're into the genre. Amazing. Unless you really dislike the sub-genre/franchise. 8/10 is strongly considerable for those into the genre. Great. 7/10 is suggestible for someone into the genre, but not with any major emotion. Good. This is the baseline. 6/10 is hesitantly suggestible for someone into the genre. The flaws might drag it down too much to for it to be good, but it has individual elements worth praising that you really wish had been put into a better overall package. "Tragic" perhaps would be a good way to describe how I'd expect a 6 to make me feel. And any score below a 6 is bad and worth skipping. Thats why its an opinion, and after playing enough great games, my standard is pretty high now. Either way, anything thats only "okay" is geneally a skip for most people, which is why I wouldnt recommend them. 10/10 amazing, no complaints. 9/10 great, easily a game that can stand on its own and please players. 8/10 does its job well enough. Can have its moments. 7/10 okay, flaws are starting to show at this point. 6/10 getting worse at this point. Too many flaws to say they are good enough to play. Any lower: not likely. Codename Shrimp
The offensive crafts Kevin gets in Sky3rd are preeeeeeeetty good but still inferior to his support ones, and he is the like the best support dude in the game

Oh, that makes more sense, because in this game his strength is garbage. Really just his offense in general. 4 minutes ago, Shrimperor said: Despite Kevin existing, many people just run Estelle full support... Codename Shrimp
there is one battle in Sky3rd that basically forces you to run offense Kevin tho because thay take Grail Sphere away from you as S-break lol
