All done in... 6 turns? Maybe slightly more. Still, I like venturing into the EO labyrinths too much to let unfair bosses slow me down. I'd consider doing an EOU2 run with a Hexer again, this time accompanied by a War Magus so I could enjoy some lockdown instead of popping my ailments right away all the time, and maybe then do a Whip!Dark Hunter for Ecstasy fun. I think it was Shrimpy that called it Fates-tier? Yeah, I don't agree. Fates is so badly written, so utterly nonsensical, so reliant on deus es machinas to move forward, so morally bankrupt, so cheap-porno-like all too often... I think it may very well be the worst story in any game I've ever seen (of the ones where story is given focus, Mario doesn't count). Certainly up there, if not. Gen 2 is more bland than gen 1. It lacks its tragedies, and Seliph is far closer to your average FE lordling than Sigurd was. But it's not Fates. It's very far from Fates. Miles above Fates. If it continues this way, it might usurp Three Houses. Despite my complaints, the gameplay overall is fantastic, I just think the Kaga-ness is easy to complain about. I do love the mechanics though, like the villages, the arena and the castles. The music is awesome and the story overall is good so far (again, despite me only having said negative things, it is great). So yeah, game good, at least second favorite fe unless it pulls an Awakening. The break between gens seems like a good time to organize my thoughts. Awesome that you're enjoying it. If I'm being completely honest, I've been enjoying it quite a bit more myself this time around.
