Alright, I've reached the depressing part of Assassin's Creed 4

We need more long haired men in video games.

Preach.

Beards and long hair. Enough of the same face with different hair color that every man sports.

I just checked the wiki. He's 29 years old. Twenty frigging nine.

In what twisted, devoid of logic, anti-natural, fucked-up universe does 29 count as an old m-- Oh right, it's anime. I almost forgot. Makes sense, then!

Wait, I'm as old as Citan.

Give us braided beards, Celtic style.

It always saddens me that I will never be bale to play Return of the Obra Dinn for the first time again. But I still enjoy, from time to time, watching playthroughs online. Relive the beautifully morbid story, marvel at the attention to detail in each scene, grin when the player misses a clue I saw immediately... And smile when they catch something I missed completely, haha.

Remember the one game where I'm in as a character?

Yeah that's another reason I'm following it. Every dude has a beard, pretty much.

B. Saga, too, is pretty great in that regard.

Though this one is more clearly Nordic-inspired than Celtic.

He said the thing, indeed. But not The Thing, for he mentioned neither rebellions nor seeds.

We are gathered here today to mourn the lost of Shrimp-kun’s taste in games. One could say that his taste in games was questionable at best, but I think it unwise to speak ill of the dead.

And two years older than Pokémon's Cyrus. Getting closer and closer to FFX's Auron (well, [spoilers] [spoilers] [spoilers]), who is 35.

Old man

I fear I can’t really say I knew the departed very well, only that that it had a somewhat sad and limited life.

never forget

We wish to never forget the groans Shrimp-kun’s taste brought to us as to make ourselves feel smug and superior by comparison.

The fact that people are still doing all sorts of insane shit with this dude that had exactly two lines is fascinating.

I really have to give these people Credit, unlike Morshu.

Hey, fun fact I discovered the other day and I'm only just now remembering: Metroid Dread isn't a Japanese game. It's also not a US game. It's Spanish. MercuryStream, the second-party devs in charge of the project, are based in my very own homeland.

We make like 4 games per decade. And one of them just so happens to be one of the most famous, acclaimed and generally gud games of the past year.

Well, I can only say one thing in response to that.

Inb4 I end up pushing past the Metroid negative bias and play it because of P A T R I O T I S M

And now, a song which Shrimp-kun’s taste wished to be played at the end of its funeral, so that it would never truly be forgotten.

*Wraith puts the tape in the boombox*

What‘s True Detective?

A critically acclaimed series that took the world by storm in 2014 and has since then disappeared from the cultural zeitgeist because its following seasons weren't as good as the first.

The problem with the low gravity is easier to solve than the problem with Venus' atmosphere. And Mars rotation is closer to the Earth's

Question on Amuro in general- how loved is he within the Gundam fanbase?

Depends on where you ask this question - Gundam is more like a medium than a series. He's one of the most popular protagonists overall. I'd say the only one who can consistently beat him is Kamille. See Tiermaker's community tier

They also did the Samus II remake, too.

Isn't that ironic? My most beloved motherland had a hand in one of the oldest, most iconic videogame series of all time, is responsible for its revival, a game that is widely regarded as the new greatest installment in the series... And I just... sort of go "no I'm not gonna play it because Fusion was bad." Some Spaniard gamer I am.

...At least now I know that, if I do ever play that game, I will do so in Spanish. I always play my Spanish games in Spanish. Matter of principles. And avoiding layers of localization.
