Silvercrow
Rules (adapted from Integrity's) - Ratings are for Normal Mode. - Votes need some explanation regarding their gameplay performance to be counted. If somebody else said what you want to already, quote them explicitly. +/- ≤1 point extra regarding personality/appearance is encouraged, but no more. If you exercise your bias privileges, please do so explicitly. - Votes are made out of 10. You cannot rate a unit above 10 or below 0. - The rating topic will be updated whenever I feel like it, but I will try to allow at least 24 hours for each topic. They will generally be updated at around noon EST. - A character being inferior relative to another character does not explicitly reduce their rating. - Characters do not get credit for recruiting others or allowing access to side quests. - Assume that the character in question is being recruited. - Characters do not get credit for bringing items. - I reserve the right to ignore any votes which are not well-supported. - You may allow a character to use scrolls (and adjust their rating appropriately) so long as it is reasonable (you may debate what constitutes "reasonable" if you feel people may disagree with you). You cannot arbitrarily increase a unit's score by arguing that they may exclusively use half a dozen scrolls for themself. In general, scrolls will probably not add more than +1 to a character's overall rating. - Warp skipping has an impact on scores in so far as "Safy has an high base staff rank". Nanna would score lower than Safy because of her lower rank, but no chapter is explicitly said to be skipped. You can't get Warp and then suddenly say every character after doesn't exist or requires turns to recruit. Something could be said of Xavier, or Conomore/Amalda who are in an escape chapter where Leaf starts next to the escape point. Robert: 2.33 Ronan: 2.42 Alva: 2.5 Marty: 2.89 Kein: 3.5 Tanya: 3.82 Dalsin: 4.38 Trude: 4.69 Evayl: 5.02 Selphina: 5.37 Hicks: 5.89 Fred: 6.00 Brighton: 6.90 Machua: 7.03 Olwen: 7.05 Mareeta: 7.13 Halvan: 7.35 Carrion: 7.54 Dagda: 7.54 Rifis: 7.70 Leaf: 8.18 Shiva: 8.26 Salem: 8.30 Karin: 8.50 Pahn: 8.66 Felgus: 8.79 Othin: 8.86 Lara: 8.92 Fin: 9.06 Nanna: 9.13 Safy: 9.48 Asvel: 9.58 Joins severely underleveled with only E staves, but comes with two of the highest utility staves in the game: Thief and Unlock. They alone afford her utility that no other character can match. Her staff rank is poor, but her personal staves raise them at a high rate and promotion can help remedy that as well. Her low skill will cause her to miss relatively often at early levels, however. 5 Movement Stars can also occasionally come in handy. Overall, an extremely useful unit as a staff user with unique utility despite her late join time relative to her level and stats. 8.5/
Jave
Tina is quite possibly the most unique character in the whole game, if not the entire series, owning two staffs with unparalleled utility that can trivialize the game to such extents it's not even funny. She has infinite range to disarm any enemy in the game, and unlike Rifis and Pahn who can have trouble stealing the heaviest weapons, this isn't an issue for Tina provided she can reach a high Magic stat (which is a lot easier than raising the thieves' Build). She can also open chests before they get pilfered by enemy thieves. She might start with E Staffs, but her personal ones build the rank so fast she can reach C or even B with relative ease. 25% chance of re-moving and a 5% Mov growth certainly add to her utility. Her Thief staff is definitely one of the best candidates for Safy's Hammerne, after all, why repair a weapon when she can get you four new ones? Her only flaws are her low Skill (she'll need the Odo scroll pronto) and her low HP, so she'll be sitting out often or in need of Stamina Drinks. However, those are easily acceptable when you bring such usefulness to the table, and Tina is definitely a character you want in your team. 9/10 + 1 bias = 10/
Chiki
0/10 misses half the time when you use a staff. Nah, 8/10. Edited June 21, 2012 by Aeine
Icon of Sin
Tina brings a lot of useful perks with her. Unlock allows her to open any door or chest from any range, which can be especially useful if a Thief is outspeeding your units or if the chest is far away, the Kia staff chest for instance. It even comes in multiple copies, since you can steal a few of those staves from Bishops in chapter 20. Thief, on the other hand, can neuter bosses, act as a preventive Restore with an added bonus and make the recruitment of certain characters a lot easier. Both also increase her Staff rank by 10, even on a miss, which is great because with a base 64% accuracy and E rank staves, she really needs it. Just in case, she even adds five movement stars if you REALLY need to steal Sleep and Berserk in chapter 22. Like all Clerics, she only really needs 3 stats : a Skill of 10, enough Magic to use her staves with the best effect and HP to avoid fatigue. Therefore, giving her scrolls such as Odo, Heim and Hezul will make her much easier to use. She can't get much action because she has almost no health, but use her wisely and she's going to be a worthy unit. 8/10.

Non-Existent Member
Another Staffbot with E Rank, but she comes with two personal staves, Thief and Unlock. Her Thief Staff allows her to steal any weapons as long as she has higher Magic stat than the enemy's. She can open doors/chests far away with her Unlock Staff, It's great for preventing enemy Thieves to open the chest and get away with it. With her 5 Movement Stars, she has 25% chance to move again. She is most likely to get Fatigued often due to her low HP, So she may want a Hezul scroll to get her HP up. Despite being underleveled and her late joining time, She's still very useful. 9/
Elhienn Hovercast
Even though I think she's a bit annoying and gave the crappiest level ups ever in my run(4 level ups with no stat at all?ouch at lvl 20 with only 20 hp?OOOOUCH), she has 4 movement stars and 2 awesome stafs that I use to snatch the cool shit my thiefs can't because both thiefs got build screwd, an her unlock stave was a life saver because I forgot to buy door keys for the defense of Lenster. Eh, 9.0/10 - 1.0 bias/low hp -> 8.0/10 Also her pretty sister Safy makes her look ugly XD *Headshot*
