Well, if this continues the 11/12 tradition, enemies' DEF will be WAY higher than their RES, and on top of that magic lets you attack at 1-2 range instead of just 1 range. Having lower MAG just helps to make swords not worthless on MU.

Go for something like a quartet/quintet (brass, string, woodwind, whatever). Quite frankly, I prefer writing those to writing things with more parts, unless you're going for a grandiose epic feel. If you do a full orchestra, a lot of the time you won't really have more 'parts' going on because you need to have multiple groups playing the same thing so each part doesn't get lost in the noise, anyways. The game takes significantly longer to load everywhere now for me. I dunno. Until RD, I had a kickass Ishin Shishi who might have caused more casualties than that with rebellions alone... I'd heard going Republic was super hard, so I turtled a bunch which gave me really good foreigners to train them after they came out with a huge charge bonus from the high-end buildings. I recall the general's 15 charge (before revolvers come) being pretty devastating, so 50 sounds pretty incredible. If I could just get a chance to use them, at least...
