  1. This...is harder than I thought. Between Milady, Heath, and Cormag... I......have to go with...Milady. I voted for Cormag at first, but then I remembered how potent Milady is in FE6 and that pushed her in front of Cormag a bit. If this was the series as a whole, it would've been Jill, no questions asked.
  2. Matthew. No if's or and's about it. Not just for character development, but also because he's always had that cool and collective kinda persona about him. And also a very friendly one too! That and he's been my most reliable thief in the series for me. Colm second because of his abilities and his relationship with Neimi(because he does what he does for her sake). Jaffar is third for his relationship with Nino(which is very cute) and a very capable assassin......that I don't use very often Honerable mention to Chad and Leagult.
  3. Serra for me. Natasha and Saul fighting for a very close second. I'm not sure why, but I've always liked Serra. Yeah, she kinda comes off as "overconfident", but ever since my first playthrough of FE7 as kid a couple years, she always stood out to me (nowadays, I feel like if I were her friend I would mess with her by being sarcastic with sometimes...it's a funny image in my head). Never saw any of her supports though since it took WAAAY to long to get them (maybe I'll just allow myself to look it up because I usually don't look up support conversations online)! Natasha and Saul are pretty great too, along with their supports. Mainly Natasha's support with Joshua(which I deem canon) and Saul's support with Dorthy( because shenanigans ensues and I love it)! One thing though that puts Serra over the other two is that, and this will sound dumb, but I can actually trust Serra a lot more to be bait for enemy units and not get herself killed. On multiple occasions too.
  4. Thanks! I think what I'll do is avoid the Exp. and Gold DLC till I finish the game, wait for Hidden Truths till I beat all three paths, and for all the DLC that gives you items, I'll just hold onto them. And since Conquest doesn't give experience for doing them, I won't have to worry about grinding and I can just do it for the challenge like the trial maps in FE: PoR/FE9 ( which isn't a problem since I'm so use to the older FE games and I don't need no stinking grinding anyway ). Also, thanks for the heads up on Hidden Truths! I knew it revealed some stuff, but not to that degree! I'll probably stay clear of any other story DLC that comes out until I beat all 3 paths( unless it doesn't spoil much, but I would have to look it up and ask around to be sure). Edit: As for Anna......guess I'll have to ponder on that for while( heck, she's one of the reasons why I'm having this issue with the DLC in the first place......darn you Nintendo, using Anna's popularity to your advantage)! Thanks again everyone!
  5. Since I had to replace my 3DS( due to unwanted circumstances) and decided to save up for a New 3DS(because I probably wouldn't have a better chance or reason to get one later...probably...), I had to wait on getting Fates. In the meantime, a good chunk of the DLC is out and I was wondering if I should just holdout on getting the DLC for my first run through the game or should I just play some while playing through the game and the rest at endgame(if I want). I ask because I really want some of the DLC (like Anna on the Run, Hidden Truths, and Vanguard Dawn), but I kinda don't want to be broken/OP by endgame because of it. Oh, and to narrow things, I'm playing Nohr first(but you can answer for Birthright and Revelations too if you want, but no spoilers...please and thank you). Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
  6. Subspace Emissary, in my opinion, was...an idea that had some missed potential. Not to say it's bad because it actually is pretty enjoyable, but more that it could've been much better. Subspace Emissary + Smash Run + Fine tuning= Something even greater! I never really liked playing as Ice Climbers, but them not being in Smash 4 was really weird. I came into this series with Melee and they were one of the characters I immediately identified Smash Bros. with as time went on. Wolf stood out more with me more than Falco did. Wolf just seemed more powerful and potent(and cooler). Snake is Snake. Nuff said... Also, I remember playing Melee a lot with my best friend as a kid. It was probably one of the longest amounts of time I've played local multiplayer with anyone(even if I did suck, it was loads of fun). To think it's been almost 10 years(give or take) since then...jeez...so much has happened in that time... *sigh* ... and I'm not even 20 yet.
  7. Fire Emblem for life! Nuff said... (Well that and a lot of people look at numbers more than uniqueness unfortunately.) If you can see the good in the other games, you're good (in my books anyway). Although, to add on what you're saying, pulling off combos in Melee feel more rewarding in that game too. Not to say the other games don't, but I feel great when I can pull off a combo or even just hitting someone off-screen with one strong kick (most notable, Peach and Ganondorf ). Then again, you can kinda feel every character's weight in that game, so when a good hit connects, you feel it(whether it be the giving or receiving side). Ah, a Camera man I see! There you go, it's been modified!
  8. Despite a few issues/nitpicks, the Megaman Battle Network and Starforce series are one of my favorite video game series of all time. Seriously. Maybe not every one shares this opinion, but I would kinda like to know if anyone else here is a fan( even if not a big one) of these underrated gems like I am(because no I personally know does. Faaaaaar from it)!
  9. Title says it all. Which do you personally like the most? And if you like, you can leave a reason why. (I was originally gonna ask "Do you prefer Melee or Smash 4", but I didn't want to leave the other two games in the dust. Besides, Smash 64(being the first game in the series) and Brawl (having a few issues that makes it trip and fall in some areas) are good games on their own merits!) Me personally, Smash 4. It's the most balanced of the games, playing offensively or defensively is both good in risk & reward, Final Smashes are better and aren't too broken anymore (looking at you Sonic), lots of love given to FE(with a few funny things that came after it), and best of all......goodbye edgehogging! I'll just leave it at this for now. I'll say more later if I feel like it.
  10. Just got got Val and the gang back, and dang......Kane got some mad skills in a year(and to think I already liked him enough as is)! ;3
  11. Longer side B grab box? Sweet! I'm a sucker for SideB + Dsmash, so that's good to know! ;3
  12. EDIT: Darn it! My phone was acting up and I accidentally posted the same thing twice and I don't know how to delete the 2nd post! Really Sorry about that! Wow...didn't see this coming. I was just randomly looking through the eShop and saw the update. Honestly, I'm more surprised at how much the patch changed than the patch's existence. Some nerfs are a bit saddening, but I'll just have to revise my playstyle just a little bit. Although, with school and me needing to replace my 3DS, I haven't played Smash in about 2 months. (And if I'm not mistake, did Ganondorf get buffed a bit? I'm not fully sure since I'm not good at understanding frames and the whatnot.) Also, dang...they seemed to have a bit of a field day altering Samus(both of them)! Oh, and while not a big Zelda player, huzzah for buffs! ;3 I wholeheartedly agree(besides, if they did have flags for those last 3, that would confirm they're mostly done making them...maybe). I imagine by then that Sakurai will take care of as much as he can for the last patch.Although, that brings up a good question... When the heck are the Corrin, Cloud, and Bayonetta amiibo coming out?!

  14. Well then, guess we all still have quite a bit of waiting to do. Oh well......still hoping for a win though! ;P
  15. Similar thing kinda happened to me. When I just joined(last year, June), I read the rules and stuff before doing anything(just to be safe). Less than a week later...I double posted because of something I forgot to add in my original post......but then again, I didn't know how to Edit posts at the time. (Herp Derp! ;P )
  16. It's not wrong to say another guy looks good(just be careful how you say it). Anyway,I'm gonna give a list of 10 in no particular order(and since I haven't played Fates, no characters from there......but just so you know, Leo would've been on this...that smug, beautiful dastered... ;3 ) Oh, and since I'm a guy, it may not be as sound as probably other's list. ;P Ephraim Joshua Matthew Ike Ranulf Guy Marth(Smash) Zihark Henry Harr Honorable mentions: Gerome(without his mask...yes, he actually does take it off in Awakening) Indigo Sothe Yarne(when you think about it a little bit...) Rolf Will Eliwood Colm Gerik Pent ......this was kinda harder to make than I thought...oh well, at least I got it done (over an hour or so later...). :3
  17. Since there are A LOT of them (and putting them into specific categories will take more time than I have right now), I'm just give a list of 10, not in any specific order...somewhat...(haven't played Fates and not much of SD, so no girls from there for now). Mia/Attractive(the cheerfulness really helps) ;3 Jill/Attractive(...Har...you lucky...) Elincia/Pretty(REALLY pretty) Nephenee/Cute Titania/Attractive Lyn/Attractive Rebecca/Pretty Anna/Pretty Nailah/...hard choice...most likely Attractive though Lucina/Pretty Honerable mentions: Louise/Attractive(...please don't hurt me Pent) Lissa/Cute Marcia/Cute Cordelia/Pretty Say'ri/Pretty Micaiah/Cute Astrid/Cute Tiki/Cute Sanaki/Cute ...yeah...no offense to the girls from other games, but Telluis bests them in this department! (...but that's just me personally.) ;3
  18. I never played ZX, I've only watched it(and it does seem fun). I'll give it a shot and see how much I like it when I play it (maybe during the summer)!Edit: Also, Battle Network was my introduction to Megaman as a whole, so there is a bit of bias. I can understand why you may not like it(because it does take a bit before you get enough chips that suit your battle style and are...well...good),but I'm happy you can kinda appreciate (hopefully that's the best word for it) the ideas they go for. (Also, it's hard to imagine Bass with thinking of BN's Bass because......he's threatening as heck...and I like that!)
  19. You know what's funny? I seem to be somewhat the opposite with the Megaman series. I love Battle Network(minus BN4, it's the equivalent of Megaman X6. BN1 was the first game and had some glaring issues that the other games fixed), Starforce(which is somewhat more underrated than BN), and Legends(still need to play 2 and Misadventures of Tron) a lot. However, the the main series(Megaman and Megaman X), I...just never been that interested in it. Don't get me wrong, it's seems fun when I'm watching others play it, but I never have enough interest to play them(...but that may have a little to do with me growing up on 3D platformers like Spyro 3 and...I kinda suck at 2D platformers...well...some anyway). The exception to that is Megaman Zero. I just find that much more interesting (despite it being kinda hard, but that's more so of the earlier games). I've even beaten Zero 1, 3, and 4 (I stopped 3/4 of the way through 2 for some reason...even if it was fun). While yes, it was a few years ago and I was using an emulator (with save states), but I would still play the Zero series faster than the two main series' games. Speaking of that, I should probably play through the games again (savestate free) and see how my opinions of it stand up now. Edit: So to make a long story short, I seem to like Megaman more for what he isn't mainly known for and I don't like him as much for what he is know for (video game wise)! Strange, isn't it? ;3
  20. Yes, yes, and yes! :3 I'm really happy I'm not alone, especially with Seiken Densetsu 3 (...which is great fun...but I still haven't beaten it yet. I was actually at the final dungeon, but...well...it was on the same flash drive as the EarthBound one. My second playthrough, broken flash drive on halfway point. On the third one now on the ghost ship...technically, but I stopped playing because life happened and I haven't been play on emulators that much lately...a.k.a. a year)! Thank you, I love ya for this! ;3
  21. (I got a list here, hope you're ready for it! ;3 ) While it's not my favorite, it still stands: Suikoden...the whole series I hear very little people talk about this series in general. The only reason I even found out about it was because one of my favorite youtube channels (Lucahjin...who is great by the way...while also a bit immature...which actually helps) did an LP on it. Loved it(Great music too). I own Suikoden 4(the black sheep of the series which is alright in my books) and the spinoff, Suikoden Tatics. I went out of my way to play Suikoden 1 on emulator, which is a great time to be had, but......the flash drive I had it on...broke( and I was halfway through the game too. A similar thing happened when I played EarthBound too, but in that case, I dropped it at school a few years ago......dang it). Another one is: Phantom Brave Everyone remembers Disgaea(for the most part)...which is good since that IS a good series, but no one seems to know Phantom Brave. It's similar to Disgaea, but does enough to set itself apart. And now we have: Megaman Network Transmission and Megaman X Command Mission So apparently, one day the Megaman Battle Network and Megaman X series decided to trade game genre for one game. The end result is a pretty...ok BN spinoff and a really good, yet underrated X rpg spinoff! Speaking of Megaman... And now a personal favorite: Megaman Battle Network and Megaman Starforce Now to be fair, people do know about them, but don't KNOW about them. These are both great rpg series, but they get pretty overshadowed, Starforce especially (because the poor game didn't even get it's own Mii costume in Smash 4 DLC...). Next: Radiata Stories A PS2 game with pretty good play, a pretty good set of interesting characters, a good story(......although the ending could have been much better), and one of the characters name's is Ridley(...yes, there are the obvious jokes on the internet)! And here is: Onimusha What happens Resident Evil pulls another Devil May Cry? This game series(...and for those who don't know, Devil May Cry was originally a RE game, but part way into development, it became something much different)! Last, but certainly not the least(known): Fire Emb---oops, sorry, forget this isn't 2011 anymore! ;3 (Herp Derp!) Ok, ok, jokes aside, my last one is actually: Codename Steam This. Poor. Freakin'. Game! I think the whole issue with Majora's Mask 3D not being a thing and then later being a thing hurt this game a bit. Now to be honest, I don't own the game. I've just played the demo(but that's because I've never had a job until now, so saving up for this or any game was hard), however, I felt like this a good game...that got overshadowed. I know every one has their preferences and may not like this game's gameplay a whole lot, but I feel like it got greatly overshadowed and it cost it greatly! (I was gonna say the "Tales of." series too, but I've been noticing how much it actually does pop up now and then.) Sorry, had to get all those games off my chest. These names are off the top of my head, so I may have missed one or two!
  22. Hhhmmm......not a bad idea. I'll jump on the NX train if it does, if not, I'm gonna get the Wii U first and wait a while on the NX. Besides, no backwards compatibility is what makes me not really want a PS4 right now (although it's slowly giving me reasons to save up and get it...still not enough though. Heck, I'll probably get the NX and PS3 before it......yeah, I'm behind console wise. Just got my first job, so...yeah). :'3
  23. I did watch GameXplain play the game (Japanese version) for 2 hours(2 streams), so I'll watch this one too since I still need to save up for a Wii U(...after I save up for a New 3DS XL to replace my older and somewhat broken, yet still fully functional, 3DS XL......and money for Momocon...*sigh*...darn you 12'th grade...make me work weekends...), and also because the game really interests me enough even if I'm just watching it. ;3 Whether I watch this or not will depend if I'm working on that Saturday or not. If I'm not, I'll be there. If I am, I'll try to catch whatever I can. Just give me the details when you have them and I'll wait for my work schedule. I'll see what I can do from there.
  24. Ellenwood, Georgia. I use to live in Riverdale, Georgia (for most of my life), but I moved a few years ago. College will probably change that soon. (However, I did originally come from Mobile, Alabama. I moved to Georgia when I was 3 though.) ;3
