You are right.
Also, here's the updated crests page.
I haven't been keeping up with the playthroughs, so please tag me if I'm missing any crest-bearers (with proof if possible).

But where did they got that Seiros is Edelgards ancestor and Nemesis is Byleths?
I think those are just assumptions from pre-release material. In Edelgard's case, it's a pretty obvious assumption as she has a minor crest of Seiros. Meanwhile, Byleth shares the same crest as Nemesis.
The bits about Loog (Lugh) founding Faerghus are from pre-release as well, I think.

Read the first half of the books and I'm really pleased. It feels so weird coming from Awakening and Fates, which had next to no lore.
-
I'm surprised, but not surprised at the same time. I can't believe you could actually guess that from just
their slightly similar appearances (I think the earrings were way too obvious).
Also, we saw that map before, but I didn't actually consider the possibility of Tomas not being a hostage, but a perpetrator.

With the flavour text about Cethleann being the daughter of Cichol; and the fact that she was a great healer; makes me think that Flayn might actually BE Cethleann; rather than just a descendant of her. The way she is described makes it sound like she is a Flayn type character and we don't know Flayn's age; and she has the Crest in a Major Form; so maybe that could be a clue Idk.
That got me thinking. What if Seteth ended up being Cichol? He's a Wyvern Rider, while Cichol boosts Axe and Flying.
Of course, Seteth and Flayn are said to be siblings, but his over-protectiveness did strike me as a little weird. Maybe it's been so long that Flayn forgot he's her dad and believed anything he'd say. I'll admit it is a stretch though...
Also, the bit about Flayn possibly being old reminded me that Seteth teaches an "ancient Fodlan fighting style" using lances. That seemed like a throwaway line at the time, but maybe he actually knows these techniques first-hand...

So Cornelia is connected to the Kingdom after all... I wonder if she'll be a villain in disguise or not.
Yeah, I get (Radiant Dawn spoilers)
Sephiran vibes from her, especially when they called her a "holy woman". They did the same for Sephiran. The timing of the plague seems strangely convenient too. I wonder if she or somebody connected used magic or something similar to the Blood Pact. That could explain how she was able to stop the "plague".

The only new(?) thing I found was a confirmation that magic has a fixed amount of uses, but uses are restored (doesn't say by how much) after a battle. Dunno if that was confirmed elsewhere.
Not sure if anybody is working on the play reviews, but here's the first two. -
Not sure if anybody is working on translations, but here's the first play review.
This is the non proof-read version, so please be mindful.
You can really taste the flavour and charm of "FE" in this game!I'm Lipsaiton, who's been playing the FE series since the very first game. If you ask me about my gameplay impressions, I feel like the game system has undergone a big change, but the core flavour and charm of the series remains the same.
For this title, from the way the characters' heads turn, the visuals have become more realistic. The game system, specifically the way you raise characters has been greatly enhanced. Mechanics, like the way units fight while leading battalions, are really innovative. Since FE Fates, the appearance and game system has changed a lot; could it even still be considered the same kind of game? I thought about this and there are probably many series fans thinking the same. But in the end, these concerns will probably end up being swept away.
In terms of raising characters, by improving "skill levels" through education etc., you can learn new abilities and combat arts, and it's possible to change into new classes. Battle-wise, there are additional factors when it comes to raising, besides just increasing level, and you can enjoy increased freedom for crafting your characters. In previous games, a character's growth was dictated by their initial class and growth rates, but in this title, there's an emphasis on the player being able to freely decide what skills to focus on (although each character has skills they're good or bad in). Learning and equipping abilities, choosing a weapon, and settling on a class--these are all key decisions and the resulting headaches you'll have is part of what makes the FE series. Up to now, you can enjoy a more rewarding form of raising compared to past titles.
The battles look beautiful, but the basic rules are the same as ever. Actually, it reminds me of FE Radiant Dawn. Of course, you'll analyse your units' and enemies' stats, consider the minute difference in stats--the strategic depth is alive and well. In addition to your regular attacks, there are new ways to attack: you can unleash "combat arts", which eat up a lot of weapon durability, and "gambits", which can only be used when a battalion is deployed. Gambits are notable for ignoring enemy counter-attacks and the battle difficulty will probably change depending on if you choose to use them or not. There's no real downside to deploying battalions except for the cost to hire them, so it's usually a good idea to have them.
Also, you should pay attention to the "link" system, which is similar to the powerful support system featured in previous games. "Gambit boosts" occur when you trigger a gambit while being able to link with nearby allies who can attack the same enemy. In this game, as characters increase their "support level", the effects of a link will increase. I really liked the FE-like game system that focuses on the levels of support and unit placement and it's more fun to think about than ever! Heart symbols (a sign of increasing bonds) can appear on 5 or so units after a battle, and when this happens, it can feel pretty nice. As an aside, another notable feature in this game is the ability to efficiently gain support points by interacting during weekend activities.
For me, all the things I wanted from the FE series can be found in this game, and I was really able to enjoy it. Is it a completely different game because everything looks so different? Series fans who are thinking this, please rest assured! I am confident that if you play the game, you will be able to enjoy the same flavour and charm as other FEs you've played!

Do we know if a characters strengths and weaknesses affect weapon exp from battle or is it just with tutoring?
It should affect battles, unless my calculations are wrong.

Honestly, with IS making separate remakes for Shadow Dragon and Mystery of the Emblem, I can't see them ever bundling two games in one remake.
The cost would be too great and they would make more money by selling them separately. Remasters maybe but not full blown remakes.

I haven't been following that much, but Authority does get boosted if the class specialises in it. Is that what you mean?
On the official site, when Claude uses the Blaze Gambit, he gets 10 Authority experience. Assuming he has a strength in Authority, that's a base of 3 plus I'm guessing 2 for the class bonus. That puts him at 5. Double it for a Gambit, gives 10.
In Edelgard's case, the same applies but she hasn't used a Gambit so she gains 5.

The opposite, right?
Considering Dorothea has been seen using the thunder spell a bunch of times, I guess that confirms that she's specializes in lightning magic to some extent, as opposed to Annette specializing in wind, or Hubert in dark.
Yeah, I think I was looking at the Twitter timeline, haha.
That makes sense. I think Lysithea might be fire? She had a fireball in her Cipher artwork.

Oh, that's a very interesting tidbit. Man, I can't believe I didn't made the connection. Especially when people began to point out how the game was borrowing aspects from Genealogy.
Well, at this point, perhaps it's not that surprising. Like, didn't they mentioned before that Fates was basically: "What if we made a whole game out of the Arran/Samson choice from Shadow Dragon?"
Perhaps we should start to look at the small details from the other games... who knows what could be next...
Be careful what you wish for. Maybe the next game will be based on the Manster escape arc during the beginning of Thracia 776.

On the side note what time was the last article released relative to its schedule?
Always midnight Japan time. So in 7 hours from now.

Seems like the Japanese Twitter is moving onto gameplay now. Two videos about the co-ordinated attack (link) system.
In the first video, Dorothea has Thoron equipped. Meanwhile, Hubert has Mire B (Beta) in the second one.

I think we'll know when it leaks.
It's plausible though, Echoes leaked 4-3 weeks earlier than release date.
That was a very special case. The 3DS security was so broken, people could download the game from the eShop.
I've heard that's not possible on the Switch. You need to get the game first, then it can be dumped.

Thanks, those are very helpful. Especially the help class/mission assistance.

BTW, I am grabbing screenshots, but I'll upload them once the presentation is finished.

Nice and thanks to @Azz as well.

Ahaha, it's the king of beasts map again. Not sure what else we can wring from this map.

Currently the same monastery gameplay.
Raphael can be recruited though. He needs Frc and Curaissier.
