She will gain +1 to two stats, so +2 total. You can merge up to ten times so a unit can get +20 stats, 4 for each stat. It only works if the units are the same star rating though, if you merge a lower stat unit onto a higher stat unit, the higher stat unit will only get SP. Luckily, Lucina can only be gotten at 5 stars =).

5*'s (and 4*'s) get favourited automatically by the system. Favourited units can't get merged, it's supposed to be a safe net for high star units, so you don't accidentally merge them/send them home. You can see if it is favourited if they have a heart icon on them. Clicking the heart icon will unfavorite it so you can them merge then =). Edit: if you want to change this function, you can go to "Misc. > Settings > Auto-Favorite".

It should, yes. Obviously there might be a bit of a difference in total points earned in a battle as different characters have different stat totals, but aside from that it shouldn't matter. The only thing that MIGHT give you more bonus points is if the bonus points have a correlation with stat totals aswell. Meaning that if Sharena or Alphonse have a higher stat total than Roy, it could be that they give you more bonus points in the second option. I don't actually know this, since I don't know the formula.

A loooot of people get killed in two hits in this game though, honestly. Hmm, I agree those stats look a bit dissapointing if you put them like that. Since I can only argument with averages (your Robin might have -DEF or -SPD and +HP or something), at even levels, Robin should have around 2 more defense than M!Corrin (Corrin can get +3DEF from skills though) and around 2 less defense than F!Corrin. And those are considered tanky units, F!Corrin especially. I didn't actually know that Lissa was so tanky xD. Anyway, if Robin gets doubled a lot by the current enemies your facing, that does take a hit to his durability. I'm really wondering why his speed is THAT low though, that doesn't seem right. It must be a -SPD Robin.

So, first situation: Robin v.1 >merge> Robin v.2 = Robin v.2+1 (+2 stats level-up / +2 stats total) Robin v.3 >merge> Robin v.2+1 = Robin v.2+2 (+2 stats level-up / +4 stats total) Second situation: Robin v.1 >merge> Robin v.2 = Robin v.2+1 (+2 stats level-up / +2 stats total) Robin v.2+1 >merge> Robin v.3 = Robin v.3+2 (+4 stats level-up / +4 stats total) I hope this makes sense to you. It's a good thing this is possible, since if you get a Robin with better boon/bane stats, you won't lose anything buy merging a pre-merged character into him =).

He's very good in Arena, because: 1. He counters Takumi with his weapon. 2. He's a blue unit and because of the 5 out of 8 of the focus characters being red, that's a pretty good thing to have. Now, I can get that you probably don't care much about the arena, just wanted to say this is why people think he's good (and I agree). While the reasons mentioned above matter much less in the story, he's still very good. Saying he can't take a hit is like saying every non-tank and their mothers can't take a hit. He has more defense than most other units and reasonable resistance. Only his speed is sub-par, but he has a speedbuff (up to +7) once he gets below 50%. If you think he's awful, there's a good chance you're using him wrong (no disrespect meant).

I hope your luck turns around when he comes, I know how much you love him. You indeed got very unlucky, since on average someone should get a 5* every 11-12 summons or so I believe, doing some quick math.

Hmm, do you have a high percentage drop on 5*'s on current banners (By not pulling a five star for a while)? If so, you might want to go one more time for the increased chance, unless you really really like the new characters that are coming out. Ask yourself this, are you content with going for a lower chance to pull a five star if you don't roll on this one but you will on the next if it's to get a special character?

I don't know the calculations, but as far as I know, these factors determine your total points: - Winning 7 games in a row. - Not letting anyone die (~50 points deducted for each death). - Your team stat total (meaning, HP + STR + SPD + DEF + RES). This is why some characters that have higher stat totals are better suited for the Arena. Also, since merging characters up their stats, it's highly adviced to do so. This is why whales who spend a lot of money have a clear advantage in the arena, since they can most likely limit break more. - Using atleast one Bonus Character. - The enemy team stat total. The higher, the more points you can get. I wish, but I have 4520 points and am about to get kicked out of the top 1000 ;_;. Last week I got 4508 points and was placed 65th, things are getting hard if you don't spend anymore. It adds up, trust me. The difference in points between tiers is so small (until rank 100, where it widens and where the whales are), limit breaking once can give you around 10-20 points more which can mean going up a couple hundred, if not more, places.

Hmm, so the above one seems to be +DEF -SPD, while the below one is +ATK -DEF (I believe). I'm not sure what her lvl.40 stats are, so it's hard to say. I'd personally go for the second one, since the first one looks more sturdy because of the +DEF, but makes her more prone to being double-attacked, therefore not really getting more durability. With +ATK, she can actually do some decent damage.

I think you really need some magic damage against heavy defense teams, so Lilina would probably be your best bet I'd say =).

They don't have to be in the same session, like YueLiang said, but you do have to make five summons before the chance ups. So it's not like the chance goes up everytime you end the summon without summoning five units. Wasn't sure if you got this, so I thought I should add it =).

Magic just fits into the regular triangle. So Green Magic beats Blue Magic & Lances, Blue Magic beats Red Magic and Swords and Red Magic beats Green Magic and Axes. Could it be that your Camilla has a low RES stat and the enemy had high magic? Some Green Magic users also use the weapon Excalibur (Merric has it, for example) which makes their attack super effective against fliers, might that have been it?

Yep, it only takes the highest score into consideration. I'm not sure how it's calculated though, unfortunuatly.

I'd say it's a good decision, but you can use this: https://fireemblem.gamepress.gg/fire-emblem-heroes-iv-calculator to calculate the lvl.40 stats by putting in the lvl.1 stats, which will probably safe you some time since you don't have to level up just to see the stats =).

I spend some, but only because the recently added Arena rewards that run out end of february give us... more dueling swords =P.

Congrats! Should be very doable I believe, isn't the advised level on chapter 1 lower than that? I ran four Bonus Hero's in Arena. I used to believe aswell that multiple featured units would give you more points, but you actually only need one. (I run into 650 into the arena with 4 featured heroes).

Each duplicate fed to the source Takumi will give him a level, gaining +1 to two stats and will make him lvl 40+1. You can duplicate 10 times till the unit becomes lvl 40+10 and gives a total of +4 to all stats.

The only reason you might not want to merge them if is: A: You want to sell the duplicates for feathers, but want to keep one of them for future references / collecting. B: You want to make all of your duplicates 5 stars so you can all merge them at 5 stars and get the best possible unit. For the rest, don't be afraid to duplicate. If you decide to want to sell them, you will still get the same amount of feathers as if you send them home together. And the cost of upgrading gets decreased by the amount of feathers you would have gotten if you send the unit home.

Open all of them. Outside of Takumi, Kagero is also an amazing 5* grey unit. Even if you had all of the 5 stars, I would still open all of them, because like Eclipse said, you never know what characters are going to be good later.

4520 points here and ranked 708. I believe as of now, the tiers are around: 11-100 = 4844 - 4570 101 - 1.000 = 4570 - 4500 1.001 - 5.000 = 4500 - 4320 5.001 - 10.000 = 4320 - 4220 10.001 - 30.000 = 4320 - 3940 30.001 - 50.000 = 3940 - 3665 These are estimations though, so they're not exact.
