These characters are tempting although I'm unfamiliar with the Thracia ones, but I'm gonna wait for more variety to be available because I know I'll just pull a bunch of repeats and/or crap.

Lyn (lv40 5*) got rally-resistance'd by Jakob (lv35 4*) and went to the top left of the danger zone. All enemies but Robin then bunched up at the top. Lyn then went down to kill Robin and Jakob and Hawkeye (lv38 5*) killed the mages up top leaving Lyn out of range. At this point only the soldier was left and he was taken out on the next turn by Hawkeye.
I also brought Lucina (lv40 5*) but she didn't see any action.

I have almost 60 with just Lunatic story mode left to do. I'm waiting for Ike/Tellius characters in general. I did two pulls for Family Bonds but didn't get any of the new characters and I'd rather save up for later than try a third time. If there's more GBA characters added before Tellius I'll probably do one or two pulls though.

Didn't get any of the new heroes after two pulls >.<
But I did get 4* Lilina, Palla, and Serra, and 5* Cordelia. So meh...
I better get Ephraim next time.

For me since I'd played these games before, I've been using some characters that I never used in their original games, because of the limited nature of pulls.
So for example I've been training my 5* Hawkeye and 4* Cecilia and Jakob even though in their games I've never used them or used them minimally.
I expect this trend will continue as more characters are introduced. And it does make me want to go back and play some of the older games.

Zephiel is one of my favourite antagonists and made it onto my vote ballot, so I was pleasantly surprised to see he was in the game already. Of the villains/anti-heroes already in, he's my pick.

Finally got him on normal using a similar strategy to one posted before (the one where you lure the blue mage with a flier to block the bow knight while you take out the other guys).
Lyn took the initial charge to lure the blue mage and swordie, then retreated and Beruka kept the blue mage halted. Jakob and Beruka took out Narcian and then Jakob and Lucina cleaned up.
I hope this isn't the standard for future time-limited events. It was way too hard on normal.

Very happy with Ike and Lyn being the winners! I voted for both and it's nice to see love for the older games in general in the top 10.
It's a bit sad going down the entire list seeing some other favourites rank quite low. But I think it's more due to neglect than dislike. Most people probably focused on voting for characters more likely to win overall.

Yeah it's too bad. I didn't know this was gonna require a constant internet connection and then it seems to use lots of data, especially with the constant patches, so I've only been playing on Wi-Fi.
I would suggest turning off data when you play and connecting to Wi-Fi if you can.

5* Lucina and 4* Beruka. 3* Cecilia is good as long as she's far away from melee combat.

I'm trying to download the second update and it freezes at 89% (it's done it a few times now) and says there's an error. Anyone had this happen and know a solution?

So if I have 1.5 GB of RAM am I out of luck or does it just mean I'll have lag now and then?
Kind of weird because I have FF Tactics downloaded and it runs fine. And it seems like a heavier game than this.

I guess I'm gonna have to delete some stuff.
On a side note it's stupid how many apps won't let you transfer them to an SD card. Odds that FE Heroes can be moved?

I want Jugdral and FE6 pretty much equally at this point. I loved what I played of FE4 and I've always liked 6 since the first time I played it.
But I see FE6 remake as more likely to follow SoV. In fact I could see it releasing in 2018 for 3DS before FE Switch (which I honestly see as a holiday 2018 release at best).
As for my title of choice, FE Echoes: Maiden of the Dark seems like a nice reference.

I kinda assumed it would be alternate outfits based on the games, like promoted outfits or ones based on characters related to the winners. I like the idea of FE Heroes themed outfits too.

It was expected, but kinda disappointed seeing so many 3DS characters on there and so few from other titles.
It's good seeing there is quite a bit of variety though.

Towns and dungeons.
I know in Gaiden they were really limited, but there's so much potential there that it makes me excited to see how far they take it. Towns were you can learn about the world, interact with your party members, and maybe even take on sidequests (basically an explorable barracks) would be a dream come true.

Done Hard with this team:
I basically baited the whole time. First Jakob got the Ninja at the bottom and managed to survive an attack by the cavalier and Ursula. He took out Ursula while Oboro and Lilina teamed up to kill the cavalier, while Lucina distracted the other ninja at the top corner. Then Lucina came down to take care of the knight and was in position to kill the Ninja when he ventured downwards. Oboro was Rallying Defense the whole time.
Took a few tries... Don't think I can do it on Lunatic. But I'm fine with getting her 3* version. Probably won't even use her.
