Hiya guys...I don't know when the next update will be but I have tons of lab reports to write and computer science coding. Running on 2 hours of sleep today, so definitely no update today, I believe.

Ships, eh? Well, I suppose I might call the second-rates "Diplomacy" and "Intimidation". I'll leave the ULTIMA SHIP and SIMILARLY ULTIMA CAVALRY to someone else.

Okay, I'll keep a note of that.

Name ships? Cool, then...

Wait, I have no idea what kind of ships you have. Though if that Heavy First Rate can be renamed...

Anyway, I claim one ship to be called 'White Base', just in case. Let the Gundam meme commence!

The next Steamship, simply for being high tech....if I ever get one again.

The Heavy First Rate or any other heroic ship must be the Indefatigable.

MUST. I have claimed NO OTHER STAKES.

Cannonballs hit their lines. I'm starting to see a pattern emerge amongst the playstyle of the Knights.

With Prussia, I had tons of elite infantry and artillery, ready to fight a very standard European line battle.

With the USA, I had more mobile forces, primarily long-ranged light infantry.

With the Knights.....we seem to be having a lot of melee cavalry and melee units.

You may have noticed I haven't been using the other ammo types, Chainshot and Grapeshot. It's because I'm focused on blowing ships up and sinking them, not crippling them for capture. Besides, ships will surrender when you blast enough regular cannon at them.

Fuck, it's a bomb Ketch, basically a worse version, but still almost just as dangerous....version of the Rocket Ship. If you play Advance Wars, a Rocket Ship would be Rockets and the Bomb Ketch would be Artillery.

Light galleys harass a ship. What's great about Light Galleys is that they're cheap, they distract ships, they actually can last a few volleys, which means a few less volleys for your more important ships. It's all worth it.

Right now this set up is the best any naval commander would want. The enemy ships are all in a clump, so half of them can't shoot you. All of my ships are surrounding this clump and unloading.

Given how fast White Base is, it'll be the one doing the boarding. It's great for catching routing ships and boarding them to make them instantly surrender, although it's quite low on the firepower and HP side...at least compared to anything above a 5th rate. It can take on most light and medium ships.

By the way Furet, since Diplomacy is....sunk. Want to transfer the name onto a First Rate or should I try to capture a Second Rate and name it Diplomacy II?

They're practically impervious to fire (until they catch a ball and die), they're cheap as hell and they have four beefy motherfucking guns on the front. Get fifteen or so of them and laugh as the enemy sails at you in a line, exploding one by one.

They're practically impervious to fire (until they catch a ball and die), they're cheap as hell and they have four beefy motherfucking guns on the front. Get fifteen or so of them and laugh as the enemy sails at you in a line, exploding one by one.

Yeah, light galleys can do a surprising number. Right now I've got a lot of them raiding trade routes and such, distracting the main Ottoman and Polish fleets although I still get a naval battle every turn since they try to blockade Malta and put me in bankruptcy.

SO uh, yeah, as I was saying, I've been getting 1-2 naval battles every fucking turn with no end in sight (until our knights crush the Ottoman Empire and Poland)

I think we own all of North Africa......

White Base is pretty reliable....as long as nothing is shooting at it. Well that's what the Ships of the Line are for.

Actually France is gone. The orange color is actually the United Provinces (the Dutch). The main players right now are the Ottomans, The Mughal Empire, Poland-Lithuania, Russia, and the United provinces. Sweden and Great Britain are locked on their islands.

I'm finally glad I unlocked the Order's more powerful (and more decorated) guard units. Perhaps they may serve as rivals to the Marksboyz?
