I actually remembered Matthis a lot because hes a pretty good unit lol i just forgot hes Lenas Big bro Ryan is mostly gameplay oriented but i actually like his character type a lot. Hm, interesting. I don't like Sumia either, but I do like Felicia, at least. I just don't like how Ryan basically takes Gordin's gimmick (short and inexperienced), and just does it again, but shorter and more inexperienced. Although the only Archanea archer I would actually say that I like a lot is probably Jeorge, so make of that what you will. Also Clarisse if she counts. And the Wolfguard bow users. In fairness Jeorge is the few Archanean who actually have a defined personality and expanded background so i can see that I honestly kinda like recycled premise sometimes mainly because it gives an extra depth to the previous character. It can work, for sure. I agree that Odin and Ophelia were one of the better cases of it. I think the problem I have with Ryan is mostly that he's just a more child-like version of a character that I like more than him, since I don't really care for most child characters. The young twins that you mentioned earlier that I can't remember the names of so please forgive me are an example of child characters that I don't care for in the slightest; I used them in one playthrough of NM to unlock their support conversations (that I can't even read because I can't read Japanese but whatever), and I will happily ignore them every other time that I play now. I think the way i said that before is pretty bad In a sense lets put it this way - when i saw a female character my primary direction is to see whether or not they are attractive so the concept of cuteness is harder to see on them For instance its easier for me to see why Gonzalez is cute than it is for Lilina/Nino/Rebecca. Mind some i do find some female characters cute. Shanna, Julia, and Est are cute. I dont find any of the previous example to be cute - Lilina is attractive.
