Three cities can be decent enough if they have a lot of food (like, for example, in a Polder Paradise), four is often the goldilock number, five can be fine if there's enough good spots and enough happiness (i.e. luxuries, unless you have the most awesomest religion, or a unique building with extra happiness) to support it. Sooks Posted July 31, 2022 Share Posted July 31, 2022 I really need to change this Shez profile picture… I overall enjoyed Three Hopes while I was playing it, but the fact that the ending I got was garbage and that supposedly the other two are the same way has pretty much killed my chances of ever playing the other routes, for now. Spoiler That's true, I'm exaggerating a bit, but we see them frayed and tense with a situation that only escalates. It's hard to say what would have happened otherwise and if their jerkiness couldn't have been overcome without a multi-movie reference filled adventure. Armagon Posted July 31, 2022 Share Posted July 31, 2022 Ok thinking about it more, actually my biggest gripe with the combat is how ending Chain Attacks prematurely work. A few times I fuck up the combos and lock myself from getting 100+ TP but ending it early doesn't do anything cause no matter how much of the Party Gauge is left, ending it prematurely drains it all the way down to zero.
