Or wait, if you’re talking about the map sizes here, I didn’t mind all that emptiness because it never lasted that long and was usually off to the side of the action or you played walking simulator after the action as opposed to… in the action, like this game or Echoes, or Awakening to a lesser extent… I’m seeing a pattern. Path of Radiance also takes forever with no good emulator speed up, afaik. Which isn’t an extra point against the game, but does affect my enjoyment and therefore how much I complain. Probably wouldn't bother with it myself, but it's nice hearing about it, to expand the noggin's conceptualization capabilities regarding strategy games.
