Ya know...the more i think about this route the worse it becomes. It's slowly reaching the "worse than Fates" level. Like atleast Fates didn't try to pretend in earnest that the people of Hoshido really deserved the war. Ladislava is hideously underused, like anyone who isn't a member of school. I know I always say this, but... could really have used this chance to give the non-schoolers some time to shine. You see, a common and dumb critique of Breath of the Wild is "it's a good game but a Zelda game". This is because people think Zelda games must follow a formula and Breath of the Wild's non-linear, scattered dungeons and general freedom is "not Zelda". In simplest terms, it's not a traditional Zelda game. Why am i bringing this up? Because A Link Between Worlds is basically that on a much smaller scale. A Link Between Worlds is (mostly) non-linear due to how it handles items, as you can buy all of them around the start (rent but whatever) and tackle the dungeons in any order. You do not find items like you would normally like in other Zelda games. And every single weapon in the game uses a stamina meter, arguably, ALBW uses stamina more than BotW. ...but you don't see people call ALBW a "good game but a bad Zelda game" now do you? In conclusion "good x but bad y" is a bad, paradoxical argument as always. In other news Xenoblade 3 has a (rather basic) photo mode. I had to do something out of the hold, so I took the chance to do the next Thieves' Guild quest and a couple others. I think I'll keep holding off dropping off Esbern in Riverwood until I have nothing else to do outside The Reach. Although, I think the guy just went straight to Delphine when I passed through the place since he stopped following me. Ah well.
