Zone of enders is based. If it was released nowadays im sure a lot of people will buy it. Shame it is not meant to be.

I dont know about that fist of mars, but i played the second one

Funnily enough those are games that I almost suggested to @GuardianSing, but decided to get some sleep instead of gushing about them, and inevitably looking up their iconic (and spoiler heavy) trailer/openings. The Zone of the Enders is the game that most captured the feel of playing a Mecha anime, and while the Second Runner is objectively the best of the two, I have a soft spot for the original Zone of the Enders as well. It was another classic of the PS2 era, and was popular enough to see a few HD remakes over the years, and has a bit of a funny history thanks to the first game having a demo disc to the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid 2 (another franchise I never got around to shilling to Guardian Sing now that I think about) bundled in with it.

As for the Fist of Mars, it was a turned based tactics game on the GBA, kinda like a Mecha Fire Emblem but with no permadeath, and the questionable choice between suffering through FE6 accuracy, or have all accuracy based on a timing based minigame, which effectively makes you always crit/dodge when you get good at it. I kinda like it but it is its own thing.

That's how you get Porygon?! Alright where the fuck do I get coins?

Oh boy. If you are planning on actually using Porygon, I hope you are playing Leaf Green, as Fire Red forces you to max out your coins to afford the little guy, which is obnoxious. Also you might want to look up if there are secret slot mechanics in gen 3, as there certainly are some in Gen 1 (and like all things Gen 1, part of those mechanics don't quite work as intended...)

Ruben made the connecting that it makes no sense for these mafia members to just submit whenever they lose a match to a 10 year old but in this case I choose to believe Zuzu is holding this guy at hyper beam point.

Given what we see Lance do to Rockets in Gold/Silver/Heart Gold/Soul Silver, that is probably accurate.

A moment of silence for the Gym Leader who was skipped in the Pokemon anime

Now wait a minute, she was in the original anime, I can still remember the episode. Ash gets banned from the Gym by being a jackass to Eirika (before knowing she is the gym leader), which leads to Ash sneaking into the Gym by cross dressing, and gets the chance to challenge Eirka after the truth is revealed. The battle is interrupted by Team Rocket setting the Gym on fire, so Ash earns the badge by using his pokemon to help in fire fighting, instead of regular fighting, but Ash cheats his way into like half the badges anyway, so who cares.

Agnea’s chapter 2 is also a really uneventful story about a dancer doing dancer things, but it’s funny because she breaks into a theater which they made the dungeon because the chapter needed a dungeon, so you walk around assaulting completely innocent troupe members holding instruments.

…and it, out of ALL the chapters, is the one that goes for a sudden “twist” ending. The twist was honestly not that interesting, but the fact that it happened combined with the dramatic music and the fade to black to end her story makes me curious to continue.

People were theorizing this might be the case. Her story was way too straightforward.

This is the biggest load of bullshit I've read in a while.

It's like when Take-Two tried going after It Takes Two.

I mean, I do feel the title fits it better. There's nothing grim about generic anime girls going on na adventure with generic anime humor.

That aside, though, this absolutely is crappy. Gotta thank God AKA Disney for turning copyright laws into a miniature dictatorship so they could continue their reign of terror in the entertainment industry for centuries!

That's only half of it.

After it being removed form Gamebanana, they tried uploading it to Loverslab. A website dedicated to porn mods.

And even they were creeped out by it and tossed it out.

Says a lot about the state of the franchise, really.

I knew about Loverslab, but I had no idea it was a porn site.

They released an accurate translation of a AAA game licensed by Nintendo and the script has creepyness on such a level that a porn site went "yeah no, take that shit elsewhere "

Fucking brilliant. Thanks, Japan.

that opening really makes me hyped about the game. its like extended Anime opening, or maybe a fan AMV (Anime Music Video) of said anime, complete with random shot of the scenes down to spoiler of all important fights. also dont fprget the regular nonsense scene and horniness of anime. i love it.

but everytime they remaster it, my hate toward konami increase. They know fans ask for more, but they just make a quick cash cow instead of making something new when it was still possible before Kojima departure. Not to mention the PC port is worse than indie game port, and remaster mostly feels like they just doing an upscaled texture and thats it. sure theres VR feature.. but cmon..

To be fair, "Despite the premise, the Pokemon journey isn't just all about fighty-fighty" isn't the worst message.

Plus, you must misremember. The Indigo arc is from 1997-1999 and everybody knows that crossdressing was only invented by Ms. Elby Gitikyu in 2013, alongside gay people and women that don't want children.

That blame does not fall solely on Japan. The international market was enabling Intelligent Systems just as much.

The player self-insert knocking up Nowi was a thing all the way back in Awakening, after all. And the international market ate it up and begged for more. So IS delivered.

Also, there’s a “choice” at the end of her chapter 2 that is implied to affect song lyrics, and it’s funny because only one of them is thematically relevant. And then one of the options is “the courage to rise again”. What the fuck does that mean Agnea, when did you fall?

What's wild is that Grim Guard is also used by Warhammer 40K, which is unrelated to the mobile game and the owners of that mobile game knew they couldn't go after something as big as Warhammer so they instead went after indie studio. Crazy.

Ys-X-Nordics_2023_03-09-23_001-768x1086.

I know anime regards noses as an imperfection of the human form, but Adol does not look good with his schnoz thoroughly smashed. A blemish upon this otherwise-competent new artwork.

---

For A Portable, the MO-III battle is more enjoyable than the Devil Fortress by far. Many lower-HP grunt enemies is preferable to a few bulky boss mechs (not to speak of the Devil's HP regeneration). Helps it's the Waltzers time to shine and they just so happen to be some of the best units around, absence of Strike aside on most of them (and that's certainly not a problem exclusive to them).

Proceeded to go on and cleared the next two battles. Time to kick Puru Two out of her Qubeley and give it to Lalah for the next three fights, I'll dump my usual 105k of weapon upgrades into it even. Lalah going Mars at the lategame route split means Two will temporarily go back to using it later before handing it back to the lady of the Elmeth for the final fights. Compared to my first run, Master Gundam has been traded for Lalah, Getter and the GP-03 will likely also benched, but I'm not sure what to fill them in with maybe Akito and Gai. Or, maybe I'll give Shiro the GP-03, the Ez-8 is pretty dang bad (I take it the 08th MS Team is supposed to be a "smaller" story in the context of the UC world?), and the GP-03 is the best thing a non-Newtype can find (though the newly obtained Gouf Custom is surprisingly not bad, yet deceptively not amazing b/c its stats are good only b/c they have five upgrades in all of them already).

...And in todays's news.:

English!!!! With the license deals intact!😄

I think one untranslated import review of Megaton Musashi said it was repetitive in gameplay, but then I do like Musou. A little mindless action once in a while doesn't bother me at all.

Sorry. But the wording of the above is almost identical to the definition eventually given in Bravely Second of the title's meaning (but not the subtitle). Doesn't help that "Agnea" is one letter off from "Agnes". Team Asano be recycling stuff?

Separate continuities.

Not like it matters since even the anime dropped the guns. One episode even got banned outside Japan for it.

Then again, how can you tell Squirtle to use Water Gun without knowing what a Gun is... well, there's always Beta Design Remoraid.

The battle is interrupted by Team Rocket setting the Gym on fire, so Ash earns the badge by using his pokemon to help in fire fighting, instead of regular fighting, but Ash cheats his way into like half the badges anyway, so who cares.

Hmm, does he? Like, let's see...

Brock: Well, there's the thing with the sprinklers, but it wasn't done on purpose, plus... that's just Rain Dance before Rain Dance. I remember either or both of Brock and Flint saying it is valid to use the environment to your advantage. And even in Kanto itself not all GYM Battles were indoors anyway.

Misty: Properly earned, from what I recall.

Surge: Same.

Sabrina: First time we may consider the badge was actually "cheated", since the rematch wasn't really done and it was just Haunter making Sabrina laugh.

Erika: To Ash's credit, he did at least did most of a proper battle, with both him and Erika down to their last Pokémon. A last, unintended, switch to "save Gloom" vs "beat Gloom" isn't that bad in comparison. Even if it still means the battle got interrupted.

Koga: No issues there. Team Rocket did interrupted the battle, but unlike with Erika, they resumed it afterwards.

Blaine: Same as Koga.

Team Rocket: Also a proper battle, for all intents and purposes.

So it ultimately comes down to just 2/8 which weren't earned fully through battle. And at worst 3/8 not properly earned if we do consider the sprinklers as not being proper. But then, as Ping said, it is nice to deliver a message about not all being about fighting.

Of the ones I have, eh, Cracker Barrel is too low to me. I like breakfast, and it was good after a hours-long car rides coming to and back from a few vacations when I was younger. Burger King >>>> McDonalds too, but yet, Five Guys is on Mount Olympus and the other burger joints might as well be in Tartarus. I have no need for mass-produced pizzerias where I am, so they might as well be erased from my perspective of existence.

Answer- Something we'll be taking a shine spark to.😉

The addition of the "Wired" subtitle suggests it is not identical to the current version of the game (which has shifted over from a standard upfront price to a free-to-play model). Gematsu's description of the game says "an of the original version of the original Megaton Musashi game with additional content".

When I get this, well I don't care much for online multiplayer, yet as NSO would be an additional expense, I'd go with Steam, just in case the mood struck me.

At first I thought this was a fast food tier list but upon closer examination it’s clearly not so… American chain restaurants that many people are likely to have been to + some that aren’t that widespread for fun?

Red Robin should be top of S tier, Chick-fil-A and Outback are too high, Burger King Being F is a crime, McDonald’s shouldn’t be above C-tier, Taco Bell should probably be higher, and Olive Garden is arguably F-tier. Some of these are great tho. Papa John’s, Krispy Kreme, Five Guys, Cracker Barrel, Denny’s, and Little Caesar‘s are all pretty much where they should be.

Uh… if you were asking for opinions, anyway.

If it makes you feel better, the line only comes from a mediocre at best choice that will probably just be a cool callback at the end of Agnea’s story. The quote doesn’t fit at all, they really just needed a third thing to put there.

A pointed/narrowed chin is by no means exclusive to the otome genre of VNs, it's a perfectly normal character design choice. However, for otomes, the "dagger chin" as I once heard it described, is almost inescapable. To the point that it has been parodied. Having glimpsed over a lot of otome reviews, I can say they all seem to have it, the maidens and their men alike.

The trailer outright says in big stylized letters ""International players can finally" ...mandatory subtitles continue- "enjoy the giant robot hack and slash!"". It'd require one heckuva deus ex machina for it to suddenly not come over ...and AW Re-Boot Camp is delayed again for me saying that.

Unless you mean a specific console it would not be coming to. In which case, I can't see it skipping Steam when that's more popular in the West than Japan I think.
