We're getting a lot of orbs but not as many as last year right? Although the banners that are happening sound interesting. For seasonal dancers, Performing Arts Azura (Green), New Years Azura (Green), Bridal Ninian (Blue), and Summer Micaiah (Red) are held in high regard. You may want to pull Green for 2017 and Blue/Red for 2018. Here's a list of all seasonal dancers, if you rather pick a character/aesthetic you like more. Every dancer is good by default. I'm sorry if I missed one, but I believe that's all of them.

I think I'll give the first live-action series. Although if you haven't heard of this show, it's probably because it didn't get much promotion. The Shannara Chronicles. I was honestly excited for this series because it was the fantasy TV show aimed at teenagers (which I was at the time). The first couple of episodes were great, but as the show went on, the more it seemed to decline. The main issue I had was the pacing. Midway through the series the two protagonists fall in love, but it seemed to come out of nowhere. There was hardly any buildup, and the two actors didn't have much chemistry. Austin Butler in particular was disappointing, because I saw him in other works and thought he was decent enough. Here it was kind of meh. It seems like the director was more focused on trying use Butler's sex appeal as much as possible rather than have him put on his best performance (plus I didn't see Butler as THAT appealing too much. He had abs and that's about it. I was too distracted by how greasy/messy his hair looked. It's hard look sexy in a pointless fanservice scene when your hair looks like shit.) TL;DR: Expected a teen fantasy action/adventure/drama, got a half-baked love story that tried to shamelessly show off Austin Butler's goods.

Interesting..... Although I'm not sure if FFMLaK would sell that much. Since Crystal Chronicles got remade, it may be possible MLaK gets remade as well.

Awww true. I guess it would work better as a base conversation rather than a support. I just want Astrid to be happy. I don't forsee Makalov bringing her happiness. I'm a bigger fan of Sothe x Micaiah but if Sothe x Astrid were possible, than I may do that one playthrough. And yes to Zihark's love triangle.

Good point. Oifaye makes a good father. Too bad he isn't a lord so we can't put him on this particular list. But Adean is best mom though.

Reyson and Naesala Perhaps they could repair their relationship or simply come to some sort of closure. Maybe Naesala could show some remorse for his actions and possibly show interest in Leanne, which results in Reyson getting on the defensive. Calill and Rhys For some reason, these two remind me of Tethys and Artur. I can imagine a similar support chain unfolding. Calill and Meg Since Calill is known for her flirtacious style, I can imagine Meg wanting to take a few tips from a city girl like her. Astrid and Sothe I know they had a support in PoR, but I would like a continuation of that. I wonder what Astrid now thinks of grown up, manlier Sothe. Edward and Boyd I think they would bounce off each other nicely. Leonardo and Rolf Same reason as the previous.

I thought of Sigurd, but I narrowed it down to the FE7 bros because they lived long enough to raise their children until adulthood (or almost adulthood). Sigurd was a good father, despite how short the timing was. I completely forgot about Oifaye. How old is he in Gen 1? He's kind of a weird age, too old to be an older brother figure, but may too young to be a father figure. But that could just be my modern way of thinking about parenthood. People did have children younger in the Medieval ages after all. Finn Emblem when? I wouldn't mind an MC modeled after Finn. Not the Jeigan, the LORD

I would say Eliwood and Hector, because they're the only ones that have been seen as parents in the series. Roy and Lilina turned out pretty good, so I they can handle it. Although the best dad in the series is Finn, no question.

Yeah that would be interesting. I think having 4 or so bards would be good, each of them have their own set of skills. I know drummers have used to intimidate enemies as the drummer's army approach, so perhaps one bard plays the drum and gives a debuff to enemies within 5 spaces or so. Perhaps the horn bard would buff his allies stats. And the fife player can have a small healing effect. Something like that.

The remakes have a "classic" version, which has the original art and stylized "retro" graphics. If you don't like the new art style, I'd definitely recommend watching some of the "classic" mode gameplay. I'm not an experienced Langrisser player, but from what I read up in other forums, they say Langrisser M is a good starting place because it has refined the combat system and it features the characters' stories. The Time Rift events go over a watered down version of past games. If you're referring to mainline entries, I think all but the 3DS game is recommended (but I would still give the 3DS game a shot, but it's completely different tonally. The best way to describe it is like the gap between the old FE games and Awakening, if that makes sense) However, I usually see people praise 2 & 4 the most. I would start out with the first one though because 2 makes so many improvements. And wow 550k+ pre-registrations! This seems like good news for Zlongames. I hope this means Langrisser 1 & 2 remakes will be considered to come West.

This is making me wonder if I should change my voting plans. I was planning on voting for only refreshers (Phina got my first vote), but I'm wondering if I should support people that have a likely chance of getting 1st or 2nd or stick to my refresher only plans (Females: Phina, Lara, Larum, Tethys~Males: Elphin, Nils, Rafiel)

The Awakening backlash is unavoidable, despite there not being an Awakening seasonal in a while. Cordelia would work well with a Valentines concept too, imo. I kind of want Lon'qu to be featured on the Valentines banner for ironic reasons. If they made him an armor because he's on a banner with 2 women and is scared to move more than 1 space, I'd find that hilarious. Tbh, I'm totally down with Awakening seasonals if the character choices make sense. I'd also like one last Olivia for this type of banner but I can see why people won't want her.

Yeah. This year I can't really predict who's likely to win. Although I'm confident in Marth, Alm and Chrom have some competition going for them. The ladies is even harder to predict.

Judging on Reddit (LOOSELY), it seems like Alm and Micaiah are Reddit's faves they want to win. Anna also has some momentum going for her. Nino is the wildcard for the females.

I've long gone the idea of collecting every alt. My luck just isn't that good. Plus I'm petty and I won't pull if I don't like the outfits. For example, I know the Xmas units are really good but I didn't pull for them mainly because I think the outfits look weird and they only look ok during Christmas time.

IIRC, Zelda is much more popular in the West than it is Japan. It's still popular in Japan, but the West loves the series much more. This is why most people consider it Big 3, since it's considered a big deal on this side of the pond.

Azura is the one to beat? I thought her popularity tanked a bit after her legendary banner. I knew she would be a front runner, but the expected #1?

I feel bad for your orbs. They've been pumping out Camillas pretty fast lately. Summer, Adrift, and now Hot Springs. Your poor orb stash. At least their original versions are fairly easy to get.

Poor Anna. I'm hoping she pulls through. Looks like it's up to Awakening Anna to seize the day alongside Micaiah.
