I doubt they would skip such a popular unit type, but there didn't seem to be any indication that they will return. It's a school setting, and unless Byleth can shift forms, what beast unit would want to take lessons on how to fight from someone who isn't a laguz themselves? They don't really "fit" in with the school narrative. There does seem to be one category listed as "none" in the lesson plan screen so there is a possibility for that to be about beastones. But it could also be other things, like music. It's too early to say though. All of Fates beast units were revealed at the last minute.

The biggest offense is her hair. When it showed the back of her head, the layers were all uneven and it drove me insane. It looks like she pissed off whoever cut her hair so they cut the left side really short and ignored the right side. Her hair is as messy in the back as those hot messes of leggings. I REALLY hope there's an outfit option. This look ain't it sis.

It sold out pretty fast IIRC, so the low quantity explains the high price. The higher the rarity, the higher the price.

I'm so excited for Rune Factory. I wasn't able to find RF4 in any store near me so I'll take this opportunity to play the port on the Switch. What I'm more interested in is RF5 though. I'm so excited to hear news of a new title! I'm glad the series isn't dead. As for Dragon Quest, they're adding a lot more than just voice acting, such as more new sidequests. I believe they also added onto a certain optional feature as well, IIRC

Rune Factory's announcement made my day. I miss that series so much. Link's Awakening is also hype. Onaniki, Dragon Quest XI, and Astral Chain looks cool. I'm not happy about the Avatar being the center of the focus again. I don't trust them to do a good job after Corrin. However, the story set up does seem pretty unique for Fire Emblem (more RPG elements. The talks with the dragon girl who's design seems to be altered seems to be more player-focused, which is a first.) It reminds me of the protagonists from Persona, so I wonder if the story would also follow Byleth's perspective more than a general overview like usual. It'll be interesting to see how the story plays out. MISSING: Did anyone see Mercedes? I must have missed her. I saw Hilda (pink twintails) and she seems to be an ally of Claud. Claud reminds me of Hector: he hails from an alliance country and has a pink twintail follower (Serra). The character design had some variety, but there really isn't a character that caught my eye in particular. Chinatsu (who I believe to be the artist) drew some pretty boys which I expected. It seems that pretty boys is definitely her forte. There is some diversity with body types, but this looks like teen idol emblem so far.

Contrary to what many are saying, I like Lachesis' art, but for an ironic reason. I can't help but laugh every time I see that moe blob with that deep voice. Since it humors me, it's not my least favorite. My least favorite is Lloyd. Wasn't Lloyd called handsome/good looking in FE7? I don't know if it's true, but I feel like there was a piece of dialogue from a villager or something that talked about the Black Fang brothers and how dreamy Lloyd was. Then his Heroes artwork came out and now Lloyd looks like an ugly meth addict. Dishonorable Mentions to OG Cordelia & Rebecca

First and foremost I want to see more characters! FE has always been character driven, and I'm usually not drawn to the main heroes. Preferably, I would like to see a wide variety of characters (not just idol-esque teens!) I suspect the character artist is Kurahana Chinatsu, so I would like to see how she interpreted the characters. FE should be a good challenge for her. (she usually does otome games). I would also like to see different locations, at least a brief shot of the kingdom our 3 lords hail from. I would also like a good view of the school the story will take place in. I would like to hear some more music.

Volug is good for Part 1 but begins to fall off Part 3. He is useful for the early game, but I wish he was able to retain it for the late game.

I'm glad to hear it. I hope this means we're getting big titles like Granblue Fantasy Re:link as well.

Do you guys think that Titania was planned to be a color staff unit? Do you think she was originally designed to be a Red Staff user? I feel like it's only a matter of time we get color staff unit. Although I doubt they would release one for free.

I totally agree. I hope the director of SOV gets the green light to do FE6 since he said it was his favorite FE or his dream project. I'd rather have a remake be done by a superfan rather than work on an entry they were told to do regardless of how they felt about it.

I never finished the first season, but judging by what you said about season 2, I won't plan on finishing it. It sounds like Season 2 has the same problem of a great start, but a sharp decline after the first 2 episodes. It's not a bad show, it's ok. The biggest problem was the lack of direction, like you said. Shameless is probably a great show that has gone on for too long from what it sounds like. I never watched it, but if it begins to be self-sabotage, it sounds like the writers are out of ideas.

If any Fire Emblem is to be accused of "playing it safe", it's FE6. It's basically FE3 2.0. Being the first non-Kaga game of the series, you could tell they were afraid of deviating from what FE was known for at the time. They may have also been pressured by Thracia 776's financial failure to do better with the next installment. The maps are huge, giving it a feel that a large scale war is happening. I like how there's different routes, so you can play the game 4 times and have a different experience. I feel like this is the hardest installment out of the GBA titles and you do have to think outside the box for some maps. Turtling may not always be in your best interest. I also like how involved we are with all of Elibe as well. It gives nearly every character that joins us a motivation for why they fight. Also, this game also has some of my favorite characters in the series. I do wish the story included more characters though. Most chapters is Roy and Merlinus talking about the upcoming battle, meanwhile Gwen hesitates to tell something to Roy and takes her sweet ass time to finally tell us something important (takes her a chapter or 2 to finally get around to saying something, for instance.) Sometimes Elphin will show up and talk, which was nice. I do feel like they didn't integrate enough of the cast into the story. It would've been nice to see Roy talk to someone other than the usual 2. Characters that could've had more screen time include, but not limited to are Marcus, Lilina, Echidna, Lalum, Douglas, Perceval, Cecilia, Sue, Sophia, Miledy, & Zeiss. I know they wrote the story the way it is because of perma-death, but they could just change it to permanent retreat for these characters until a certain point (i.e. Lalum only needs to be alive for the Etrurian arc.) I'm also not a huge fan of how absurdly long it took for some characters to support with one another. Some supports were fast, but I do wish there was a more streamlined way of doing this. I wish it was similar to how the 3DS games did it. At least how SOV did it.

I'm PULLING! I like all of these characters. Too bad I only have 35 orbs and I want to save some for the Binding Blade banner too. To ensure that I have some orbs, I'll be pulling Green>Blue>Red. Although Ike is my fave out of these 4, I always seem to have a Lvl 1 5 Star Red ready on hand (currently Siegbert). Although I will try for Ike. I do hope I get one of these characters.

That makes sense. Mist would be fitting, and I'd be fine if she has a 5 Star version that's cool/good. Although there may be one romantic couple, seeing as how last year Hector got riled up when he suspected Lilina was making chocolates for Roy. Isn't there a holiday where the inverse happens (males make stuff for females)? White Day? I wonder if they'll do a White Day banner. Although I can see it being redundant from a gacha game perspective, since most countries don't celebrate it and people may think it's like another Valentine's banner.

To add on to what everyone else is saying: Bad Availability Only in 2nd Tier Class, you have to grind for 3rd Celica's path favors dread fighters and magic users Once both armies are joined up, Zeke or Mathilda will most likely be your cavalry unit of choice. His existence retcons some of Gaiden's story/lore.

Is this the first time we got 2 silhouettes where they're both MALE?! The one on the left is confusing me. Because of the cape, we can't really see a hairstyle. It looks like damaged art too. The sword's handle looks like Tyrfing, but the blade looks a bit different. It could be a new sword or Tyrfing with a Valentines decoration? I hope it's Sigurd, because he can be easily matched with Deirdre and Arvis (BRING ME LOVE TRIANGLE DRAMA). The one on the right COULD be Ike. It could also be Boyd, Greil, or even Geoffrey. But, who would be Ike's partner? Although Soren and Ranulf are the obvious answers, I highly doubt IS would put 3 males on one banner together. It could be Mist (familial love) or Elincia (implied crush from Elincia?). Valentines Day is not something I would associate Ike with, since his character displays absolutely 0 interest in romance. Maybe they're using that fact as a joke. However, I would much rather see Ike in a Summer banner (right @Anacybele?)
