That Draug picture is... something. What's with the crotch area? It looks off to me. And I love Sassy Catria. But my absolute favorite artwork from that collection is Elice. This picture is sooo different from all her other artwork. I thought it was a different character when I first saw it. This picture makes her look haughty and a bit sexy, but her true character is nothing like this.

That + being a bad unit. I also recall Lethe fans especially not liking her, but I can't remember where I got that idea. It doesn't help that most of her screen time is her just being a b*tch, which I love, but I can see a lot of people not liking. I do think there is some depth to her character though. I don't see her getting in before Lethe, but I do think Lyre deserves a fair chance and better stats.

As of now it is JP only unfortunately. They're set to launch Feb 7 in Japan for the Switch. Although, you could get a JP copy because the Switch isn't region locked. However, if you do not mind emulating, you could probably find them somewhere online. The first one did come to the West as "Warsong" for the Genesis, so you would need to find a Genesis emulator. If not, it may be available in the PlayStation Store. My guess is that they are going to wait to see how well the games do in Japan and how well the mobile game does globally. The mobile game did attract a lot of attention, even outside the FE community, so it may do well in the West (I hope it does at least). I remember reading that the global version will be a few months behind the Chinese version, so maybe it'll come out early next year. Although just having "2019" irks me a bit. Although I've heard that many people prefer the Mobile game over the actual Langrisser games. Although the remakes haven't come out yet, a lot of people really do like the mechanics of Langrisser M and think of it as a refined version. A different company makes the mobile game, but the CEO is a superfan of Langrisser and fans have noted that the gameplay has improved because of that. Anyways, I do hope that Langrisser does get some traction in the West. It is a great series and a wonderful alternative to Fire Emblem. Was the youtuber LuckyCrit?

Yeah they could be staffers too, which would be interesting. This also makes them colorless magic users (since their staves will be meant specifically for attacking, not healing). Or they could just make a new weapon type and make them colorless tome users. Omg, they would be contributing to the ever growing staff emblem. Loki, Mikoto, and if the 3 Herons come in, staff users will begin to be more desirable than they already are. Rafiel would probably be an infantry unit or something. Idk, he's kind of a weird unit to begin with. How popular is Lyre? I like her, but I know a lot of people don't.

I don't think they would call her Micaiah, it would probably be Yune in Micaiah's body.

I feel like Mythic Heroes would be a good chance to explore some of FE's backstory- it'd be cool if we got characters like Altina and Forseti to be Mythic Heroes. It would give us a face to the backstory. EDIT: I would whale for a dual blade wielding Altina.

I'm sorry for misunderstanding you. Although I think you contradicted yourself with "you don't need that many characters to flesh out a faction" and then gave your list. Your list is a lot of characters. At the very least, it's around 7 characters give or take. Although the right-hand man could also be an elite general.

Aside from Tibarn and Nailah, I think they would go with Ranulf, since he's popular and is strongly associated with Ike. If there is a 4th, I can see them adding Reyson, Volug, Skrimir, or Ena. I'm leaning more towards Ena because fat chance IS will allow a banner with only 1 girl and 3 guys. Although if Reyson and Leanne will be added, they'd be a must have. Since Tibarn gains additional movement upon transforming(?), that would mean Reyson and Leanne will have that much movement too since they also fly. A refresher with 3 MOV? OP. The only problem would be that they have no canonical weapon. Ninian can get away with it since she does transform into a dragon, and alts tend to be non-canonical in the first place. They're going to have to be really creative with them, and I can see them as magic users. Also, I can see the Herons having a banner all to themselves, similar to Performing Arts and Hoshidan Summer. As for Naesala, he could be added into another banner where he can be the star or be in theme-specific banners (like misunderstood heroes).

I like it from a narrative standpoint, but it could be a bit too ambitious for FE to take on. What mainly concerns me is that they'll have to create TONs of characters and in doing so, have to rely on cheesy character tropes like Fates in order to characterize them. They would also have to make different story paths for each one, and I'm afraid they'll leave each one behind a paywall.

There's most likely going to be some new Book III characters? And I wonder when the Christmas banner will drop.

My favorite "state" would probably be Yied. I normally don't like desert places, but I do feel as though Yied and Darna are given a fair amount of context. Yied is the origin of our villains, and... As for Darna, it has 2 of my favorite Gen 2 characters, Aless and Lene. Plus, there's also a sense of irony associated with that city. The place where the crusaders held their last stand, gained holy blood, and got the strength to defeat Loptous turned into a city of sin and greed. A holy city, but full of hypocrisy and corruption. It's also kind of ironic that the city where the Crusaders holed up in so close to where the Lopt were banished. As for my least favorite, it would maybe be Miletos? We just kind of run through Miletos and that's it. There really aren't any important characters associated with Miletos, so I can't put a face to the country like you could with other states.

Yeah I forgot to give an honorable mention to Reyson. If beast units become a thing I want him on a banner with Tibarn.

Phina and Tethys deserve more love. Phina because she's the first dancer and one of the only real combat dancer. Tethys because she has great characterization and I would like to see what they come up for her in FEH.

Possibly, since retro gaming has been "in" these past couple of years. Apparently, Langrisser M has been a hit in China so maybe they're remaking them in the hopes of making more money from their newly acquired fanbase? IDK, but now's the time to really market the Langrisser series.

Colm from Sacred Stones came to mind. Sad he's just a thief.

What ideas did you not like? Writing? Gameplay? Characters? Some of the best gameplay in the series came from Fates, so I wouldn't mind if they took a page out of Conquest's book. Although they aren't my favorite Fire Emblems, they weren't completely trash. They did have some good elements that future games should try to have.

This sounds like the return of Lara. Can they be employed at the same time?

A remake of 1 & 2 is coming in February as well.
