  1. Then you keep the broken weapon and then switch to an iron weapon because the game hand dozen of them to you and they are very cheap. What other use do you have for the vemomstones you find around? Even if you sell them this won't make much of a difference compared to using them.
  2. I clarify myself. We have no spirit or other content of gen 8. So, if we follow the "spirit deconfirm" theory, then it's very likely that a gen 8 pokemon is alreay planned in the DLC and the gen 8 content was whithold on purpose.
  3. Can we eat Mapo Tofu whit him? I don't remember the recipe list.
  4. I wouldn't say that it's dead, more like it never really lived. I don't remember a time period where 3d platformer where a big thing after the n64 era. We are better of now than we where the past generation, and by far. If anything the lack of gen 8 content means we are more likely to have it. Like we got no FE3H content because sword guy number 8 got in.
  5. The thing is, corrupt Nobles don't need crests to exist, they would just bullshit something else as a divine right. I don't think we need to remove an incredibly convenient technology just to get rid of them, as the alternatice exist to give said technology to everyone else.
  6. Except that all the proof we have of people living like shit is highly annedoctical tales about a few noble families. There is almost nothing in 3H that indicate that common people feel this crest discrimination that much, and the only territory that is clearly oppressed is the one under fucking Arundhel. Also i'd take stagnation over crest luddism, as crests are the only reason Fodlan has not been conquered by Dagda, Almyra and Sreng yet. Haneman is the unsung hero of Fodlan and the only one that truly can solve the issue.
  7. The same people went on to fight an even stronger dragon leading an army of dragons, so imo it was more a case of "we can't win whitout heavy losses" rather then "we can't win period".
  8. This is the age old problem of HP system. It's never clear whatever the character can actually take the hit or they are an abstraction to something else. I'd say that tanking Kurth breath is way more realistic than killing a goddes that Dr. Stoned a continent in an instant. Most fire emblem lords(and JRPG characters in general) make no sense if you don't assume they are way beyond the limits of humanity.
  9. Luna and Astra seems to be special sword techniques that were passed down to the descendent of the crusader Od. Based on the users, astra was the technique of the main bloodline and luna of the branches. Sol being used by a random thief does not fit at all tho.
  10. I found a couple of stones and told myself "why not"? They are iron weapons that do an extra thing. If you stumpled upon a couple of stones there is no reason not to have a venin weapon in place for an iron one, even if the benefit is small. To purposefully seek the venomstones is a no.
  11. Sirfetch'd is an option now that i think about it. I suppose he can swap the leek for the item.
  12. Nemesis is like, the only final villain that we see lose a fair 1 vs 1 fight on screen. His fight againist Seiros does not give the impression of an unstoppable monster. And seiros herself does not even need to bring her A game to the fight.
  13. Actually, i think that can coexist whit morally grey. The fire emblem game i am making up for fun as such a villain as the Gharnef. Basically, all the factions are trying to save the world in their own way that is irreconcilable whit the path chosen by the other factions, and then there is this asshole in the background eating popcorn and watching the fireworks while quoting Doflamingo Marineford speech.
  14. Go toe to toe? I think Camus would beat the Death Knight whitout even trying.
  15. Some people overpraise the Kaga era like some amazing moment of deep storytelling, but most of it is Kaga trying to adapt LoGH as 12 ep anime. Kaga remind me of Takahashi as a crestive mind that does not recognize the limit he is working on and always bite more than he can chew. Also, i feel he try to integrate story whit gameplay more than necessary, such as in the maps of genealogy. Sure you get to narrate this big epic war, too bad i have to deal whit hours of mindless walking over gigantic maps too experience it.
  16. Balthus because he has a gauntlet relic.
  17. I would replace all the pokemons for trainers whit 3 pokemon each. It's also a way to not waste slots on fucking Jigglypuff that has not been relevant for 20 years. For other series, i think it only work if the character transform or if there is some mechanich that support it. Thenonly FE game where i would do that is awakening. For party based games i would consider the Ice Climber approach instead. There should be at least a couple of DK character doing that imo.
  18. For western RPG is difficult to pick someone, because most people are avatars whit no canon name, appearance, or abilities. Sheppard or Geralt seems good options. Divinity Original Sin 2 have plenty of individual characters, but i have not played it yet, so i can't say who would get in. My pipe dream would be BG 3 protagonist, because they would open up the floodgate for D&D content into smash(TNO would be super awesome and has enought canon shit to make a moveset, but the only way for him to get in is to cast Wish in real life.), but this linger entirely on how many special abilities they would get. The bhaalspawn got some special spell and abilities, as well as the Slayer, but it would not be enought whitout picking also a class. NWN2 protagonist have all the spirit stuff from MoTB as well as a canon weapon innthe silver sword, so BG 3 protagonist should be like that to have a chance.
  19. Inreally don't like that they make WL using axes actually. I understand class diversity, but the only reasonable weapon for fighting on wyverback imo is not even the lance, but a lance at least as long as a sarissa. Anything else would just result in a lots of wyvern colliding whit other wyverns(it could be an ok strategy againist pegasus knights i guess.)
  20. It's not necessarily gender. It's that a system need some sanity checks because if everything can be combined whit everything the playerbase will quickly figure out something strong enought to break the game in pieces. It's the rationale why after FFT class system ended up being a broken mess, FFTA had a bunch of races each whit it's own set of Classes. On paper you could have a class system that is actually balanced whit no exploits... if you dedicate 5 years or so to playtest it.
  21. Wasn't Karel a serial killer in his own right? Or Henry, even if he seems to only kill enemies? I think having even very despicable people around may make sense for an army, as long as they have a common enemy or are trying to save the world (even the worst criminals want to live, so i see why they would help againist an apocalypse). The problem whit Peri in particular is that the other people have to act out of their characters to even tolerate her, wich does not really happen for Karel or Henry. Why Camus 3.0 has a psycho as his retainer? Camilla, who is messed up in her own right, Leon, who is pragmatic enought to work whit an evil but competent person, may make sense as Peri' commanders, but Xander does not. And this whitout lighting the dumpster fire that are most of their supports. I still don't hate her, mostly because i don't care much about her. But she looks like a bad attempt at recreating what made Henry fun and popular, whitout realizing why the audience let him get away whit his bloodlust.
  22. After you can guess what i have to actively resist the impulse to send Byleth in a wawe of enemies whitout a weapon and do that over and over untill i ran out of divine pulses. But this is not Byleth fault If anything, i am realizing how much ii don't really hate anyone. I refuse to use Camilla, but in the ideas i have for a fire emblem game there is a character that is basically Camilla how i think she should have been handled, so indon't have a wholly negative opinion of her.
  23. To patch the hit penalty you can use a more accurate weapon, but Training Axe Wild Abbandon is weaker and less accurate than Silver Axe Smash. Using it whit Mace to hit armors may work, but it's still worse than Hammer Smash. I can see it mayyyybe if you manage a lot of Hitrate on Caspar so you can reach 100% even whit the penalties, but is this build even possible, let alone practical?
  24. My idea of Tiki was simply to use all the dragonstones from mystery instead of just divine dragon. When you have also wyvern, ice dragon, fire dragon and mage dragon there are many options.
