  1. That's odd. The MacGuffin and the robot's young human friend/s are accounted for and you've still got the two sets of giant robots battling it out, but most of said robots have little to no personality or even dialogue, to say nothing of the general lack of banter during battle.
  2. Quick is a status effect of sorts that gives you the next active turn. Quick status can be gained by having the spell 'Quick' successfully cast on you or by having the reaction ability 'Critical Quick' triggered. The triggering of Critical Quick occurs when the unit with the ability equipped receives damage that leaves them with under 20% of their max HP. While Critical Quick might not seem that great there are situations when it is the best reaction ability in the game. For a more reliant way to gain Quick, learn it for 800 JP from the Time Mage skill set. Quick costs 24 MP which might be a little costly but has decent speed (25) and a decent formula (targetsfaith*castersfaith*(MA+140)). Rig some zodiac compatibility between your group and Quick can be very reliable and fun to use. Quick can be reflected (though not Math Skilled) but the most interesting thing about it is that it can be Counter Magicked! Seriously, that exclamation point isn't one of the fake ones that should be a period, I actually used to get giddy when considering this. Look at the spells that can be Counter Magicked: - All Black Magic except Fire 4, Ice 4, and Bolt 4 - Holy, Dark Holy - Yin-Yang Magic except Pray Faith and Doubt Faith - Slow, Slow 2, Don't Move, Quick, Stop, Demi, Demi 2, Meteor - Bio, Bio 2, Bio 3 - Melt, Tornado, Quake - Attacks from the Blaze Gun, Glacier Gun, and Blast Gun So just how does Quick fit into all this? With the proper setup you can orchestrate a near-endless chain of Quicks within your team (sometimes referred to as The Quickening), acting and acting while almost no in-game time passes and the enemy sits there staring at your chain of constant action. Ramza: "Restore lost time in a spiral line! Quick!"
  3. this shit is totally legit right up in your biznuizzle but yes, those were serious complaints, and not even particularly uncommon ones. didn't make the movie awful of course.
  4. Do you absolutists know what guys are?
  5. Jimmy Carter fought off a killer rabbit and Ronald Reagan killed a wall. What has Fireman ever done?
  6. The presence of these furries has weakened us mechanical lifeforms' faith in humanity. How do they manage to exist and prevent the attempts of every right-thinking organic who is aware of them to burn all the furries to death? If this virus is not purged from your societal system soon we will intervene.
  7. Bring no magic users to the chapter unless you really need 1 healer, include heavy hitters like Oswin and Marcus on your team even if you aren't normally using them, utilize whatever supports you have, and try to have as many characters as you can unload on him with the best weapons you have. (Silver/Killer stuff). It will likely take some luck. If you need more help, how much Strength do each of your characters have, what weapon levels, and what supports?
  8. Only author there I find worth reading is this guy. He's got lots of FE stuff.
  9. Not really, it seemed kind of forced and contrived. >_> That's easily the worst part of it, though. Good series and with only 12 episodes not a significant time commitment. G Gundam is Super Robot instead of Real Robot and has most of the cheesiness that would imply, but it makes up for it by being extremely awesome and has lots of plot twists. And it's not really like any other Gundam, which I consider a plus given how often the premise is recycled. Of the more conventional Gundam series, Zeta Gundam is my favorite of the ones I've seen, though if you haven't finished or don't remember most of the original Mobile Suit Gundam, go watch that first as Zeta is a sequel to it and the original is also pretty good.
  10. I would like to point out that all of these additional suggestions do little other than distract from how this guy hasn't seen Cowboy Bebop. >_>
  11. Using Marcus later on intrigues me, I hadn't thought he was viable so late in the game. Anyone have HHM enemy stats for Battle Before Dawn, Night of Farewells, or Cog of Destiny?
  12. I would recommend something, but most of my list is mecha and that's not for everyone. And really, if you haven't seen Cowboy Bebop yet, you need to go watch that. The dub is supposedly preferable in this case.
  13. Let's see...There's Sentinel, Optimus, Rodimus...Hey! You're not a real Prime!
  14. Such a trivial thing surprised you? Clearly, this one is sheltered.
  15. I accept it, but I'll never like it!
  16. Lies and Decepticon propaganda! Jazz is a great guy!
  17. I didn't like how a lot of the action was ruined (or at least made worse) by terrible camera. More robots and less fleshlings would have been really nice, too.
