Takumi and Oboro are already 5-star. Now the question is whether I want to pull on this banner or not. Unless you really want to fish for Azura, probably not. Hinata is useful already as 4*, unless you really want Ruby Sword+ fodder for some reason. Cecilia is free. Titania is cool but is also a 4*. Desidelia
I tried this banner cos I really want azura, but instead I got nowi :/ Problem is already had nowi, so I have a -atk/+def and -def/+res nowi I should merge her? And which one?
JSND Alter Dragon Boner
Banner in a nutshell: Titania: The best natural user for Emerald Axe+ Hinata: Fury is alvailable at 4*. This is basically Ruby Sword Pull for Olivia Azura: Hinata but you instantly get it on your Dancer Cecilia: You are a dirty despicable human being

I don't have Azura, so it might be worth it for that even if I'd prefer Ninian more. Also, I don't have a Hinata, period, so an increased likelihood of getting him would be nice! And I'd like to get a second Cecilia to pass gronnraven+ to my female Robin. Looks like this banner is going to be around until June 6, so I'm going to wait until Celica's banner expires, decide whether I want to pull on the wedding banner or not, and then throw my orbs here. Lord-Zero
The banner has its uses. More chances to get Azura, free Ruby Sword+ for Olivia and Fury fodder, more fuel for Horse Emblem and...Titania who also benefits from Horse Emblem. She's also valuable for her Emerald Axe+. Desidelia
So is my 1st repeated 5* unit, then I should lvl her to lvl40 and then merge with my other 40lvl now who is -atk? It will inherit her abilities? Cos my lvl 40 nowi has vantage and fury. And then if use her in arena once merged, arena won't be insane with crazy shit? Cos all my other units are +

Cos all my other units are +0 Yeah, if you sacrifice your trained one to merge with a new one, the new one will inherit all of the old one's skills. +1 does give a slight jump in Arena score, but it won't be too bad. You'll get about +6 to your average Arena score in matchmaking, possibly less (I'm not sure how much exactly). Cute Chao
I randomly picked a team to train with Lloyd as I like to train up by teams. I tried to get one of each colour but had no blues left to train... My team ended up with Lloyd, Nino, Raigh and Lucius completely by coincidence, which makes me smile a bit. Lloyd - Nino's brother (adopted step) Nino - Raigh's mother Lucius - Implied to be the father who runs the orphanage that Raigh is at. I quite liked the connections :D Nice little things like that make me happy, especially since it was just coincidental 'I need to train these guys up' xD

It doesn't matter if you have Fury or not, since Nino just needs to lose 10 HP via those two Assists to have Desperation activate. I didn't give mine Ardent or reciprocal aid though That's what I was saying XD Its harder for me since I opted not to give her those skills and kept draw back since she essentially has built in Ardent sacrifice with fury. Also, ardent sacrificing seems like too much of a waste of a turn, especially since she can't take a Takumi hit anymore. You're just mad cause you don't have your own Nino
Anacybele
I'd like to throw a pull or two at this new banner, but I've only got 51 orbs and I'd be trying for Titania which means I could end up with Cecilia instead. And I don't want her. Titania can be pulled at 4 star anyway. Edited May 22, 2017 by Anacybele
Falcom
This banner... I really don't see why this is necessary. That's not to say these characters are not worth pulling but I typically expected quests to go with it (like kill enemies with these banner characters or something) or daily orbs. Speaking of daily orbs, IS needs to make up their mind and stop alternating between daily orbs and no daily orbs cause it's becoming annoying. Anyways, I've been enjoying my time training Lloyd. He has a lot more atk and spd than I expected which is a real help. I really wanna make use of his pass skill though. I don't exactly wanna just toss it out cause I'm aiming to have a variety of skills to work with. Sadly, I've not been able to think of anything yet. The problem with Pass on a melee unit is that, in order to set up a situation in which it would be useful, you must be standing next to the passee- which means they got baited to you and you mutually survived a round of combat. Now that that has occurred, you now need to gain some tactical benefit from being on the other side (Reposition style) of the unit on the turn you kill them. Right-angled turns only if walls or forests are involved. Exactly how common is this? More importantly, would you rather do this or run Desperation on a unit with good Attack and Speed? The only tactical benefit I see is trapping ranged units in a narrow area, preventing them from attacking. But yeah, I think you're right that pass isn't good on Lloyd. Just for curious thought, how beneficial would pass be on a ranged unit? Or a cavalry unit? (keeping my expectations low on these questions) Desperation never was on my mind. It's not bad for Lloyd cause his low defense and I can stick Fury with it. But I wanna explore what other skills I can have him use before I make up my mind. But I wanna explore what other skills I can have him use before I make up my mind. Ranged units would be worse: you cannot Pass through the unit and attack them in the same movement. However, undoing the 'trapped ranged unit' scenario is a benefit... though how you got into that situation as a human vs AI is a matter best left untouched. Good on Takumi, who gets it innately with the Fujin Yumi, not worth the B slot for anyone else. Cavalry units see possible advantages to Pass. Since the situations in which they can move using Pass are greater, you have more chances to use it. Also, ranged units can Pass and attack on the same turn. Finally, forests are as impassable as walls to cavaliers. However, the question of 'Why would I ever do this' is still in the air- you rarely want to split your party up, and pushing one unit into an area their teammates may not easily be able to reach screams 'gimmicky and unreliable'. Especially since most arena battles have the enemy bunched up at the beginning, too... Desperation is the big B skill I consider on offensive builds, with Quick Riposte its defensive counterpart. As such, it comes to mind more easily.

I agree with this, it is irritating when I play a game like Disney Magic Kingdoms and I get daily gems ALL the time because of either the actual daily rewards (sometimes it's gems, sometimes it's magic) or watching a couple ads at the park theater. I can get at least 2 gems a day and up to 5 and this never changes. IS needs to give us permanent 2-5 orbs free daily, imo. Also, there's a way to grind gems in DMK too, though it's very slow from my experience. Parades can sometimes produce gems, though it's not common and you can only do a parade every six hours. I wouldn't mind an equivalent in Heroes that can occasionally produce orbs either. Edited May 22, 2017 by Anacybele

Why do you think they ran World of Radiance AND Heroes fest at the same time? They probably made boat loads from that. This is just another starve tactic to make money. If it was an actual gambling game, I don't think it would've been allowed in Europe and maybe even the US. People out west definitely look down on gambling in games that kids could easily get into like FE. The Pokemon game corner was removed from the series because people argued that it encouraged kids to gamble. You CAN say you lost money if you get a crappy pull after buying orbs, but you still got something out if it, whether you use those pulled units for skill fodder or send them home for feathers. If you lose money in gambling, you literally lose it and gain nothing at all. You can lose a LOT more in actual gambling. Also, trying to get lucky in the summoning isn't everything in this game either. There's much more to it than that in the battling, story, etc. Edited May 22, 2017 by Anacybele

First and foremost, Heroes is not a fire emblem game, it is a gacha game. The gameplay is reminiscent of FE but don't make the mistake of confusing it with other games in the series as being one and the same. Dry spells work just as well as limited-time banners at getting people to spend money, which is endgame of IS, so to speak.

Heroes has FE characters and FE gameplay, therefore it is an FE game. I don't even consider it a spinoff since it has its own original main characters, a story, and basic FE gameplay. Gacha is not true gambling from what I see in this game. I'm not literally losing money or going into debts or anything stupid like that. There is a gambling aspect, I won't argue that, but it's not some digital casino. Edited May 22, 2017 by Anacybele
