  1. My latest top 5: 5. Jill 4. Rolf 3. Mia 2. Ike 1. Boyd
  2. You're right, this was basically the whole point of the topic. Just wondering who your fave girls are. Now that I think about it, most of the girls I listed aren't smoking hot, they just look cute with their cute smiles.
  3. Yeah, I guess that's the only way but I think some people take it too seriously. In the end, it comes down to RNG and how you use the character.
  4. Ouch, that sucks. Good thing this game has battle saves for moments like this so you don't have to restart the whole chapter again. And yes, axes are awesome.
  5. Ilyana is on maybe cause she looks depressed in her artwork. Same goes for Ena. Lethe and Lyre are okay, sometimes I like them, sometimes I don't. Meg could be decent if she lost the weight and I honestly didn't think she looked that bad (maybe I should get my eyes checked). I like Titania's hair and she kicks ass. She's not that bulky. Most of the ones I said were hot are just there for their cute smiles. So maybe some of them aren't hot but cute.
  6. Double Bow DOES NOT give 3 range. It's only 1-2. Marksmen get an extra range after promoting. And the triangle attack is so inconvient (for me at least). I mean, if you like doing that, that's fine. Usually in my game, the brothers are nowhere near each other. I've never really needed the triangle attack cause all three are just fine without it. Yeah lances > swords. On Mia vs Rolf, it really depends on your playstyle. I'm not a big fan of either of them but I know they can both be good.
  7. Has anyone reached Micaiah before she leaves the map (around 30 kills)? It's probably impossible to reach her without ranged magic (even that would be quite hard) cause there are probably 30 enemies between her and your starting position plus the laguz kill things pretty fast (they're also stupid).
  8. Wow, I honestly didn't think about what he was doing in Daein in the first place. I'm assuming he went to help Almedha and liberate Daein and somehow got captured cause he wasn't a Begnion soldier. He also looks like an ordinary beorc so they probably had no idea he was a laguz.
  9. Trust me, I've never thought Sothe was good. He's only "good" in part 1 cause he's a good meatshield for the DB and he's facing unpromoted units. By 1-8 I started realizing that he wasn't as good as he seemed and he just seems more and more mediocre as the game goes along. Especially since the DB units you're training will easily end up better than him. It takes so long to level up laguz strike levels that I don't think it's worth it just to make them stronger. I've tried out most of the laguz and they can be good but it takes a lot of abuse to get them on par with the beorc. I think they should've gotten the same amount of weapon exp as the beorc as well as equal exp for killing or hurting enemies. Those are the two main reasons why I'm not a fan of laguz.
  10. This. Knives are weak and there are much better units. I wouldn't use Sothe or Gareth. I'd also take Ena out if she wasn't forced. The only thing she has going for her is Blood Tide and your units should be strong enough anyways that they shouldn't need it (except against bosses). Volke's still cool though but I'd probably take someone else over him. I actually wouldn't take any of the characters forced into endgame (except Ike and a heron).
  11. Awesome post Lyle Dayek. I agree with pretty much everything you posted except I think Lethe and Lyre still suck. Sothe sucks too. Lethe & Lyre's low strength and low transformation time are mostly why they are hated. At least Ranulf has decent strength. Also, most people compare them to the rest of the team (Greil Mercenaries FTW) and they don't get the job done without lots of bexp which could be used on better characters.
  12. "It's like a whole new species of girl lives on Tellius! Almost everyone is drop-dead gorgeous!" - modified Gatrie quote from PoR Alphabetically listed: Astrid, Calill, Elincia, Heather, Jill, Laura, Leanne, Lucia, Marcia, Mia, Micaiah, Mist, Nephenee, & Titania. Maybe: Elena, Ilyana, Lethe, Lyre, Nailah, Sigrun, & Vika When they grow older: Meg & Sanaki Not Hot: Almedha, Ena & Fiona I mean, it'd be cool if they were real life people cause they'd be even more hot.
  13. Maybe you should spend more time playing FE and less time thinking up stupid puzzles.
  14. I've never played fixed mode. I think too many of my characters would be lacking in stats that they get RNG blessed in. For example, my Boyd usually turns out fast for me but in fixed mode, I'm afraid that he won't be as fast as he is in random mode. So I just stick to random cause it works fine for me.
  15. I just realized what I hate the most about Soren. He's such a know-it-all. He acts like he knows the answers to everything and will correct everyone for even minor errors. Like in PoR, Ike asks Soren if Bertam is on par with Petrine and he says something like "that's not necessarily so". Then goes on to explain the Four Riders when Petrine and Bertram are two of them, which is kinda what Ike figured. He pretty much feels the need to correct every little mistake, like everything has to be perfect. I hate people like that cause obviously nothing is perfect. But honestly, Ike would be SO lost without him. Soren has to explain so many things to Ike cause he won't "get it" on his own.
  16. Yeah, I think that's what you were saying before, right?
  17. This. I hate it when people act like average stats determine how good or bad a character is. I mean, they do help influence the opinion on characters but everyone's experiences are different and the RNG ultimately determines how "good" or "bad" a character is. Everyone has a different way of playing the game which will also influence opinions on characters. Personally, I could care less about average stats, just leave it up to the RNG and whatever happens happens.
  18. Keep Devdan on that list. He's slow, has mediocre strength, and defense is lacking. He won't be able to double anything in endgame except sages without a brave lance.
  19. Funny thing is that it's the opposite in RD. Ulki has a higher speed growth than Janaff (Ulki's got 40, Janaff's got 25).
  20. Yeah there aren't many terrain tiles compared to the GBA ones but I think that actually makes it a little harder. You actually have to train the characters a little instead of hiding in a forest. Maybe people relied on them too much so they took them out to make it harder.
  21. I guess that's true but unless you want to put Rolf or Shinon out on the frontlines, there's no need to use them. Most of the maps are easy to have Shinon and Rolf behind the front lines and safe from direct attacks. I'll try using crossbows next time cause I've never really needed to. Shinon does have a high defense so giving him one wouldn't hurt but Rolf should stay as a backliner for a while.
  22. Sounds like a well balanced team. Hope you're having fun with it.
  23. How are you going to do 3-1 with just Mist, Soren & Rhys? I could see 3-P being possible since you could just have the laguz kill everyone but 3-1 where you have to rout everyone in 12 turns or less, is that even possible with just those three?
  24. If Misaha hadn't been killed, I think the war still would've happened but under different circumstances. The senators really hate the laguz and so does Daein. Once both parties realize each others hatred towards laguz, they could band together to wipe them all out. Plus Which would result in the whole continent going to war and the dark god being released and destroying them all. Crimea might be neutral like in Radiant Dawn and maybe Goldoa would be too. Actually, I think the war would be similar to the one in RD except Begnion and Daein would be allies from the start. I'm not sure if that's a spoiler or not so I just covered it up in case someone complains about that.
  25. Yeah Nolan and Boyd have the highest strength in the game of all the beroc units. Their speed cap is also higher if only by one point. Haar awesome too but his speed isn't as high (still good enough to get the job done most of the time). I'd say Axes>Lances>Swords>Bows>>>>>>>Knives. The only reason Rolf & Shinon can even match Boyd, Nolan & Haar's strength is cause the Double Bow gives +3 strength. Anyways, they're two completely different playstyles and it really depends how you play the game. Personally, I like putting a strong unit in the middle of a bunch of enemies and watch them all be killed on the enemy phase. Can't do that with Rolf and Shinon since they can't counter direct attacks and crossbows are too weak to one round anything (maybe sages and bishops and flying units but that's it).
