Dat Rules (borrowed/stolen from Integrity)

- Ratings are assumed to be on Hard 1 Mode.

- Votes need some explanation regarding their gameplay performance to be counted. If somebody else said what you want to already, quote them explicitly.

+/- ≤1 point extra regarding personality/appearance is encouraged, but no more. If you exercise your bias privileges, please do so explicitly. Also, if your vote is already a 10/10 or greater than 9 and you give a full point of bias, The score may not exceed 10!

- Numerical votes out of 10, or something proportional to it. Make it easy to calculate for my sake.

- Every ranking phase ends from 2100 to 2200 EST. Every ranking phase starts from 2200 EST to 2300 EST. Do the math if you are in another timezone!

- I will insist you do not use the "Not X" reason on any character, where X is another unit. If you do, your vote will be thrown out.

- "Recruits X" or "takes you to X chapter" arguments are explicitly banned. C'mon, people, this shouldn't need to be a rule. That's not gameplay performance.

- Assume that the character in question is being recruited.

- Similar to the "Recruits X" rule, do not use "He Comes with a Free Ridersbane" as an argument.

- Rate the character based on his/her performance without the Rainbow Potion, Maturity Drop or Bond Drop

- I withhold the privilege to tell you your rating is bogus and demand you revise it if it breaks any of the above. I will not throw out votes anonymously, you will be informed and given a chance to revise.

Ive honestly never used this guy but I suspect he sucks,, ...his bases (barring Str) are awful. So we have a unit thats unpromoted, joining us late, with no potential whatsoever and with meh axe rank (for this point of the game). That's...awful. I guess he can reclass to Pirate but 13 AS at this point isnt doubling anyone, with a bit of babying he can be decent. 3/10

Yeah, there is a limit on the number of links that can be in a post. Here's a quick and easy solution for you.

Just leave the showtopic=32878 (or even just the 32878) part, and leave it beside said character that doesn't get a link. If anyone wants to look at the RTU thread, they just insert the URL snippet into the normal url and go from there. Not a perfect solution, but perfectly viable.

Anyways, Dice. He's a fighter. Those are pretty rare in FE12. He's pretty strong with 15 base Str and 60% growth. He's not the most durable dude on the block, but 90% HP helps him out. But compared to the axe bros, they outshine him in both offense and durability. Heck, Barst joins at Lv.5 (as opposed to Dice's Lv.12), and they have the same base speed. Barst reaches Dice's base strength at Lv.10, and has a 70% growth in it to forever be stronger. 15% defense sucks (Cord and Bord both have 20%, Barst has 25%). His speed growth is just as high as Barst's, higher than Bord's and lower than Cord's . I can't see him being as good as Barst, but I don't think he's level Bord bad.

Ehh, let's give him a 4/10.

NM has so many obsolete units... I guess it's what you'd expect with such a large roster with class change and no party split like RD.

WTF at his base RES growth. He'll end up pretty fast as a Pirate, and he'll retain his axe rank. Too bad his HP growth is a bit shaky in the one class I'd like him in after promotion (Dracoknight). . .and the fact that he joins with no fanfare, so I tend to forget that he exists until I scroll down.

Jake. Like, oh my gosh, he has a 100% growth in--- Wait. Crap! I had pre-written a review for Jake. I had completely forgotten about Dice and Maris... and Horace. Blah.

Dice. I don't know, his growths look dicey - I don't want to take a gamble with him. I think I'd rather roll with someone else more reliable. Oh ho ho ho ho!

But really, he's just a pile of unimpressive doo-doo. I want to like him for looking like a viking, but... bleh.

He's not half bad for a sort of mid-ish joiner in H1. His growths are pretty average-mediocre barring strength and HP. Plus you can have a Viking on a Dragon when he promotes. He's a half decent Axe user, just not fantastic to really reccommend using over any other Axe users except Cord and Bord.
