@XRay You should get a Switch with Breath of the Wild. I've beaten 10 Zelda games, and honestly BotW is my favorite. There is so much to do. I played it pretty frequently and it took me three months to beat it. Collecting the amiibos is something that might strike your fancy, since they give you pretty good in-game content (the Link amiibo nets you Epona, which is the best horse in the game stat-wise).

This is actually pretty thought out. Just as the clothes make the man, Sacred Seals make the waifu. I was expecting some sh*tpost about Willy Wonka or "How Beta-Carotene can do WONDERS for your Skin"
@StroudAh, I see you're a man of culture as well. These are the main chars I'm hoping for too. I don't have S! Camilla, and would like to have a
Playboy BunnyRaventome flier. I would slap Distant Counter on regular Camilla once she gets a Slaying Axe+, so she can be a DC flier emblem tank.Distant Defense is an amazing skill for A! Tiki. With a +Def nature, Slot A DD3, and DD3 seal she gets up to 50 def/37 res when she is attacked from range. Slap on QR3 and she becomes one of the best enemy-phase units in the game, and destroys B! Lyn.

When i'm not working full-time, usually I am doing:
- Further poisoning my mind by reading 19th-early to mid 20th century novels. I generally find one author I like and obsessively read all his/her works. Recently it's been Houellebecq, Nietzsche, Mishima...in 2018 I will probably focus on Nabokov, and the King James Bible lol
- Going to jim, doing yoga, playing tennis. I'm working on joining a league soon. I'm actually pretty athletic for a nerd!
- Take my motorcycle out, although it's not been out as much due to me being too tired from job to even ride it.
- Playing retro games, usually Metroidvania, Zelda, Chrono Trigger, etc.
Usually I play Heroes when I wake up before I start my commute, and during lunch breaks. FEH is very enjoyable to play while drinking my morning coffee, very comfy.
@EricaofRenais I wish I could meet other weird alienated people who play Fire Emblem. We could talk about unit builds and rip on normal people.

I got Joshua on Thanksgiving too. He's a great help taking out Brave Ike on the hardest setting w the 3x bonus. I'm hoping to get at least a couple Hectors during the next focus to throw Distant Counter on Joshua and Camilla, and possibly Ayra.
I'm also pretty pumped about the Close Defense seal. My plan is to throw it on my Summer Tiki, who is plus Defense and already has Close Def 3 as a slot-A skill. Her niche will be to have ridiculous melee bulk on enemy phase, with a +12 def/res as well as a boost from Melon Crusher+. With weapons forge she could retake a spot on my main team again!

Per the FEH Bulletin Board: "The extremely challenging Infernal difficulty is waiting for those who cleared this battle last time!"
It look one round to beat the map on Infernal difficulty for me. Cherche/H! Nowi/Cordelia/PA! Azura made it easy.
This was definitely the easiest GHB yet. Even defeating Michalis with Anna wasn't too hard. I used Minerva to bait Michalis and use Luna to do ~55 damage to him, and Anna finished him off. I only have to defeat Michalis with himself, which shouldn't be very hard.
Not sure why they made his sister so much better in this game -

It's amazing that even at an 8% summoning rate, you could easily spend 200 orbs and only get 4-5 5-star units per the average. It just shows how abysmally low the chances of summoning 5-star focus units are on regular banners. At least there won't be pitybreakers...
I went to Target last night and they were doing the B1-get 30% off on iTunes cards and I actually thought of this banner. But that would only equate to 100 orbs, which equals 20-25 summons, which would lead to 2 focus units...decisions decisions...
I think I will ultimately postpone my decision to spend money on the banner until the final two days it is available. I mainly want Hector, S! Camilla, Ayra, and Ike, so if I get lucky pulling only red/green orbs I could do pretty well and not "need" to pay my hard-earned buckz.
Also, the main problem with the Target sale is that we ultimately get just 15% off per card, and save only $7.50 total.
At least it's better than their deals on Nintendo hardware and games -
This isn't likely to happen due to them being locked as GHB/TT units, but have a "bad guys" banner. Black Knight, Arvis, Ursula, Michalis, etc. Also I don't believe there's been an archer voting gauntlet. But then again I may have missed it since I did not start this game until summer.
Mainly, since this is a waifu/fanservice game, there needs to be a VG totally focused on it. So Camilla, Tharja, Kagero, Charlotte, Olivia, Cordelia, Summer Robin, and Lyn would battle It out
pillow-fighting while wearing revealing clothing. -

Oh god lol. I might have to end my pledge to not spend any more money on this game. Considering the trend of high-tier CYL units being released
(Mia is 10x better in this game than she was in PoR),she will be great. -
@Alkaid are you summoning for Spring Camilla? I will definitely try to get her or at least Hector for Greens. I'm planning on slapping Distant Counter and Slaying Axe+, along with either Luna/Moonbow/Draconic Aura on regular Camilla so she can finally be as good as she was in Fates.

Off the top of my head:
- Dragons will appreciate the boost from Lightning Breath+ forging. My Adult Tiki will be a total monster enemy phase with an Atk boost and possible Def boost as well.
- Camilla! She has good stats overall, but her main issue is that she is a subpar Brave Axe user due to her meh attack. She will do much better with a Slaying Axe. She could be kind of like Nephenee on wings with a Moonbow skill equipped.
- As others have mentioned, Minerva and Seliph will appreciate an upgrade to their weapons.
- Oboro, Beruka, and Selena will become slightly more usable, since Beruka will get increased damage output from Slaying Axe+ and Oboro & Selena can at least KO armors now.
- Distant Counter Effie could become a thing with an upgraded Silver Lance+. Slap on a Dstant Defense skill with Wary Fighter and she becomes very hard to kill.

She's not Hector or Marcus tier, but she's pretty good.
- Has arguably the best of the Lord weapons; increased criticals, strong against cavalry
- Can double most enemies
- If you level her, you can get the better version of Four-Fanged Offense
- Can promote early for a FE7 lord if you give her your seal from Hawkeye
- Can use bows post-promotion, which gives her more offensive options than Kektor/Loliwood
- Dodge-tank in late-game

For me, she's better than Eliwood and worse than Hector. I don't do ranked runs because I don't like to torture myself, so I don't know if she is a net negative on that. Overall, i'd say: these are videogame forums: spend enough time on them nd you'll hear every possible argument and counterargument for some minor issue.

Personally, I will be focusing on green and red. I could get a QR3 Dierdre, Distant Counter from Hector, and a Spring Camilla that I would very much like to have. Don't have any of the red focus units yet, so getting one of them would be great. The children characters are not particularly compelling for me to summon for, so I will empty my coffers for this banner for sure. Blue is pretty yawn for me considering Spring Xander and Braeda are meh, and I have no attachment to Fjorm as of yet.
Overall, I'm pretty excited for this banner. It's up there with the Brave Hero banner as the best one offered so far.

Theme for the next gauntlet: handsome men vs. handsome women. So this would obviously include Reinhardt, Minerva, Sully, Hector, among others.

Thanks @Alkaid that was very helpful. I'll have to double-check my barracks for higher-rated units. I don't have Ike, so i'll probably use BK or Kektor. Just built a non-bride Cordelia so I could use her. My highest rated units are Lucina, Hector, and BK, but they all suck against horse emblem so huff
Too bad Camilla doesn't have the highest BST in this game like she does in Fates lol.

Has Reinhardt been in a gauntlet yet? He could win. He's pretty popular, even though most of us detest seeing Rein in Arena.
Also, it will NEVER stop being funny that a game revolving around cute anime characters has one of the more toxic fanbases in gaming.
@Lord-Zero It's one of my favorite games.
@Rezzy Cecilia seems to be in her mid-thirties to me. She is the Etrurian Magic General, and in my mind that would be assigned to a slightly older character; I woud assume Pent is canonically in his thirties, and he formerly held the title.

I just logged into this forum for the first time today. I'm honestly surprised by the reactions. I thought it was kinda cool that a mostly unused unit managed to pull a last minute upset. Regarding the multiplier, I think it's like the presidential elections in the U.S.: when the Republicans lose, they want to abolish the Electoral College, and when the Democrats lose they want to abolish it. So how you feel about the multiplier depends on if your side won or lost.
@Lord-Zero I see you're a fan of Blazing Sword as well. I think that gaem holds the key to defeating waifus. If Sain was in the game he could win a Voting Gauntlet. I could see Marcus doing well too, due to his S+ tier status in the gaem, and the fact he's sort of a meme.

The only Fates game I played was Conquest, and in my playthrough Takumi seemed like a somewhat one-dimensional character, with his over-the-top anger towards Nohr. I was glad to see Shanna win. I saved 400 feathers for a potential late multiplier that never happened, so I dumped them in the last hour. I'm assuming this was many others' strategy as well. My opinion is that male FE characters were mostly good until the 3ds games, so I don't totally agree with your theory. But it is probably true that most of FEH's revenue comes from weebs spending thousands of dollars to get their waifus.

What kind of units are you using on your team? Staying in 20 definitely seems to require a good amount of merges, but just getting into it is doable without any, from my experience.
Usually my team is: Bonus/Seasonal Unit + PA! Azura + B! Lyn + Random Unit. If I do a perfect run I get into 4800s. What unmerged units do you use to get to tier 20?

I'd say because Reposition, Hit and Run, and Bladetomes can be hard to counter on certain maps. Also, they were probably so basic they left Mulagir on B! Lyn.
I'm starting to think i'll never make Tier 20 without at least two merged units...lol

I'm wondering if the upcoming FEH Channel will address this at all. They've been strangely silent for the past month or so. Also, their interview where they spoke about controlling powercreep didn't age well in regards to the FE4 events (regardless whether you think Ayra is/isn't powercreep).
I'd like to say though, that I've had an Ayra on my Voting Gauntlet team quite a number of times. I don't think I'll pull for her in Hero Fest, not because of her shortcomings as a unit or the controversy surrounding the TT banner, but because her voice acting is blehh. It sounds like she stayed up all night and just woke up.

This is me too. I'm hoarding orbs for Xmas/Hero Fest, so now i'm just building units. Just built a Cordelia with Brave Lance+/Galeforce/Darting Blow which has been a lot of fun to use.

Thank you for your contributions @Lau and @Azz. I will make the suggestion to Tyrell Corp. to have Lloyd as the male prototype. He is a handsome man, and a good father figure to Nino. I like Lon'qu too, his character is very relatable. And Niles of course is an OG.
@LucarioGamer812 I'll definitely use her more my next playthrough, didn't realize she is that good.

I remember when I played Binding Blade, I leveled up Shanna to level 14 or 15, and she had 6 attack. 6! I wanted her to turn out good so I could go to Ilia instead of Sacae.

There will be a lot of in-game opportunities for orbs in December due to the new story plus developer maps, so you could get many orbs without spending. I could see spending money on the CYL Banner on the 28th, because it gives a much better chance at giving you a 5-star focus unit you want. Still, the percentage (8%) is low enough to screw you over if the summoner is on the unlucky side. Personally i'm finished spending $$$ on the game because it doesn't have a good ROI.
@EricaofRenais The teenage years were a nightmare for me too. I'm very glad they're over. When you're finished with school and making decent money in your field it will be even better.
