Armagon Posted January 27, 2021 Share Posted January 27, 2021 These are just my early thoughts so far but while I wouldn't call Atelier Ryza 2 a "perfect sequel", it does seem like Gust took all of the feedback from the first game very seriously and focused on improving the good while also addressing the issues of the first game. Edit: oh it's by the same guys who made the Castlevania anime (well it's not technically anime but shhhh). It worth noting that it just has Castlevania's animation studio. Well I think the entire thing is good, if that wasn’t obvious, so I read the whole thing, but I think when it gets really good starts with the chapter where they go speak to Xenophilius Lovegood, which is when the story starts to lead into the Malfoy Manor bit which is amazing, although it’s mostly setup for what happens right after that and isn’t strictly necessary for that chapter. But yeah, that bit is great and the other grand adventure they have before returning to Hogwarts is worth a read I’m pretty sure, although I haven’t gotten there yet, I think it’s the next chapter.
