Rules (adapted from Integrity's)

- Ratings are for Normal Mode.

- Votes need some explanation regarding their gameplay performance to be counted. If somebody else said what you want to already, quote them explicitly.

+/- ≤1 point extra regarding personality/appearance is encouraged, but no more. If you exercise your bias privileges, please do so explicitly.

- Votes are made out of 10. You cannot rate a unit above 10 or below 0.

- The rating topic will be updated whenever I feel like it, but I will try to allow at least 24 hours for each topic. They will generally be updated at around noon EST.

- A character being inferior relative to another character does not explicitly reduce their rating.

- Characters do not get credit for recruiting others or allowing access to side quests.

- Assume that the character in question is being recruited.

- Characters do not get credit for bringing items.

- I reserve the right to ignore any votes which are not well-supported.

- You may allow a character to use scrolls (and adjust their rating appropriately) so long as it is reasonable (you may debate what constitutes "reasonable" if you feel people may disagree with you). You cannot arbitrarily increase a unit's score by arguing that they may exclusively use half a dozen scrolls for themself. In general, scrolls will probably not add more than +1 to a character's overall rating.

- Warp skipping has an impact on scores in so far as "Safy has an high base staff rank". Nanna would score lower than Safy because of her lower rank, but no chapter is explicitly said to be skipped. You can't get Warp and then suddenly say every character after doesn't exist or requires turns to recruit. Something could be said of Xavier, or Conomore/Amalda who are in an escape chapter where Leaf starts next to the escape point.

This guy is just awesome. His base stats are solid all around, but of special notice are his base defensive stats, which actually surpass Ralph's overall, especially in terms of resistance. He can wield both swords and Thunder magic proficiently, as he has A rank in both weapons along with a D in wind which allows for him to wield basic Wind tomes if he wants the lower weight. This overall affords him extremely good offense despite not having especially good offensive stats, as he is extremely flexible with weaponry and can boster his attack with Thoron or high ranked Swords. His skillset is also extremely solid, holding Prayer and Sunlight Sword which both serve to increase his survivability even further. His only real drawback is his PCC of zero, which means that he can never crit on a counterattack. He does make a reasonable candidate for the Wrath scroll to remedy this however, if you're willing to hold on it for so long. Overall, he's just extremely good in almost every way, with only one small weakness in the form of his PCC, although his join time could be earlier. 8/10

Eyrios is an extremely versatile combat unit. First of all, he has a horse and therefore reaches combat faster. Then, he has A ranks in both Swords and Thunder, with at least D in both Fire and Wind, which gives him a lot of options in terms of weapons. 11 base Strength means he's only slightly weaker than base Ralph, 14 Speed to double nearly everything, but best of all is his defensive combo of 40 HP/14 Luck/10 Defense along with Sun Sword AND Prayer. The man can take all sorts of punishment and dish out great damage in return. He's also one of the few mounted units that won't fear Horseslayers and Poleaxes that much. He's not too bad indoors either, since while his movement remains low, he keeps all his weapons, including the semi-exclusive Thunderstorm.

Now, while 9 Magic isn't anything special, it's fairly easy to boost with Holy Water, a use of M Up staff or even the Fire Sword. If you still think that's not enough, Eyrios makes a fine user of the Charge skill thanks to his great defensive abilities. 0 PCC really isn't that bad considering his offense is that easy to fix. In terms of scrolls, he'd only require Heim or Dain. Considering his high base level, it shouldn't be too hard to give him the scrolls when he's about to level up.

The guy may have no supports, no personal weapons and no tits, but he certainly makes up for it by his great defensive abilities and movement.

+1 bias for being better than Olwen when he's around.

9/10

It's not hard being better than someone who's dead.

Eyrios, another pre-promoted Mage Knight who joins you, only if Olwen was killed or not recruited.

He has high base stats, and two skills (Prayer and Sol), and durability. With A rank in both Swords and Thunder magic, he'll have instant access to stronger weapons such as Thoron, Thunderstorm, Master Sword, etc. His only problem is that he doesn't have any PCC but the Wrath manual should remedy that.
